Chapter 1815: Immortal of the Profound Earth

On the God Emperor’s corpse, the sound of chewing grew increasingly dense as the blue worms gnawed with frenzied desperation.

Their collective glow bathed the colossal remains in an eerie cerulean hue.

Watching this, Xu Qing couldn’t help but marvel at his Eldest Senior Brother’s... uniqueness.

Erniu’s triumphant voice boomed across the landscape:

”Well? What did I tell you!”

Old Master Seventh’s expression turned peculiar as he studied the corpse below, then Erniu, before slowly frowning.

”To prevent this Brilliant Heaven God Emperor from reviving, we dismembered Him back then—His skull was placed in the Summer Immortal Palace, while His flesh was divided into dozens of portions sealed across Brilliant Heaven...”

”You... gathered all the dismembered pieces together?”

Erniu’s spirit soared even higher—this was the moment he’d been waiting for.

”Exactly!”

”Old man, many of your seals were weakening. If I hadn’t discovered it in time, this old God Emperor might have resurrected long ago!”

”It was destiny that led me to Him. So I conceived this grand plan!”

”I nibbled openings in your seals, transported the flesh here to this sea of divine blood, and reassembled it!”

”Then I used the divine blood to nourish and reactivate the tissue while dispersing my own body into countless worms to feast day and night!”

”Well, Little Qing? How’s your Eldest Senior Brother’s masterpiece?”

Erniu laughed uproariously, brimming with pride.

Old Master Seventh seemed deep in thought as he glanced at Xu Qing.

Xu Qing smiled and nodded.

”Eldest Senior Brother’s plans are always meticulous. I never imagined it would be like this.”

”Truly just one step away from unifying Brilliant Heaven.”

His tone and carefully crafted look of admiration sent Erniu’s satisfaction soaring to new heights, leaving him practically floating with delight.

”Of course! That’s why I’m your Eldest Senior Brother!”

His laughter grew even louder.

Xu Qing maintained his smile before turning to Old Master Seventh.

”Master, should we assist Eldest Senior Brother to accelerate the consumption?”

Old Master Seventh sighed and raised a finger toward the earth, his voice resonating with celestial authority.

”You spoil him too much. Very well—since you’ve never witnessed my Immortal Dao, I’ll use this opportunity to enlighten you.”

”The immortal position is eternal, yet the path is not singular!”

Each word thundered across Brilliant Heaven as the earth itself began to echo—first muffled, then growing increasingly intense until the entire land trembled violently.

It was as though... the ground was collapsing invisibly, and some entity hidden beneath Brilliant Heaven was about to break through!

Xu Qing’s eyes gleamed with fascination as he observed Old Master Seventh, sensing his master’s cultivation realm and combat power rising continuously—

Yet without the slightest trace of Ordinance Law!

As if Old Master Seventh, though an immortal, possessed no Ordinance at all!

Noticing Xu Qing’s puzzlement, Old Master Seventh’s voice resonated as his aura surged:

”Fourth, I know you’ve traveled beyond our star ring and encountered many cultivators. The immortal path you walk contains your own Dao—what outsiders call ’Ordinance.’”

”Ordinance resembles divine authority, requiring an upper star ring source. It’s used by upper star ring gods!”

”As for the immortals of Wanggu—whether the Ancient Sovereign Mystic Nether or the Ancient Spirit Emperor—their path fused with the rules and will of Wanggu!”

”These two approaches can actually be categorized as one...”

”They are perceptions formed by the upper star ring’s rules.”

At this point, Old Master Seventh’s raised finger lifted slightly higher—

And the earth’s tremors intensified exponentially, the deafening roars shaking heaven and earth!

Simultaneously, an aura utterly foreign to the ascending star ring erupted from Brilliant Heaven’s depths—

Primordial, chaotic, and raw!

The moment it appeared, Xu Qing sensed it immediately, his heart stirring with realization.

”This is...”

Old Master Seventh’s voice revealed the truth:

”But your master... and the seniors who ascended from Profound Earth back then... walked a different path!”

”We have no Ordinance, because our ideal was never to adapt to Brilliant Heaven—but to elevate Profound Earth itself!”

”We didn’t fuse with Wanggu, because in our plan, this was merely our first stop.”

”Thus we followed no fixed laws or rules. We comprehended the source of Profound Earth—external anchor points of Profound Earth’s rules, acting as its emissaries to gather annihilation power through Profound Earth’s ascension!”

”Therefore... we became Immortals of Profound Earth!”

With this declaration, Old Master Seventh’s finger transformed into a palm that slammed down violently!

The earth quaked as if the entire foundation of Brilliant Heaven would crumble—not literally, but the tremors released even more of that alien aura.

Strands of mist—initially invisible—condensed into tangible fog that rose from the ground in all directions.

Before Xu Qing’s eyes, the mist coalesced into a mirage-like spectacle across the sky...

The very image he’d once seen in the Summer Immortal Palace—

The Profound Earth Star Ring!

Its entire cosmos, every realm!

The vision flowed into Old Master Seventh, merging with him and elevating his aura to terrifying heights as auspicious light radiated from his form.

Yet Xu Qing saw clearly—this empowerment was like a castle in the air, not truly intrinsic.

Unless... that mirage became reality.

Otherwise, it was merely temporary.

”This... is the Immortal of Profound Earth!”

Old Master Seventh gazed at Xu Qing and sighed softly.

”But alas, as our understanding grew, we realized the terror of the upper star rings. Brilliant Heaven was just a small part.”

”This is a world of gods. Profound Earth could never rise, and our path led nowhere.”

”So my master and his comrades chose to venture outward.”

”They sought to explore the upper star rings and find a way forward... while I remained in Wanggu.”

His voice carried deep melancholy.

”Becoming perhaps... the last Immortal of Profound Earth.”

”Because Brilliant Heaven is closer to Profound Earth, my combat power here reaches its peak!”

”This was also where I originally planned to wage my life-and-death battle against that existence!”

”Now, using it on this Brilliant Heaven God Emperor... isn’t a waste!”

As he spoke, Old Master Seventh’s eyes blazed with swirling galaxies—within which the entirety of Profound Earth manifested—before his right hand descended toward the worm-covered corpse below!
