Extraordinary Realm from Persuasion System

Chapter 214: Chapter 141: The Ferocious Dragon Crosses the River, Adding Another Title of Outstanding Citizen?_4

He had already experienced most of the wonderful things in the world. Now, the only thing missing was honor! This was especially true after learning that Zhang Beixing had become a representative of outstanding youths. Although Liu Yi said nothing on the surface, deep down, he was incredibly envious. This was also due to his past experiences; they were unbearable to look back on and had always drawn criticism from others, so he valued this aspect particularly.

Now, the opportunity to gain honor had arrived. It started with being a caring citizen. If this criminal was just a bit more of a ’high-achiever’ in their misdeeds, then he, Liu Yi, would become a representative of outstanding citizens!

When the time comes, the Disciple will be Shishi’s outstanding youth representative, and the Teacher will be Yanjing’s outstanding citizen representative. Once this gets out, won’t it be a beautiful story!

Liu Yi felt it was necessary to consider if this was his only chance in life. So, he lit a cigarette, thought for a moment, and analyzed the situation seriously. Then... ”Damn it!”

Liu Yi fiercely threw the half-smoked cigarette on the ground. ”Zhang Beixing, you’re familiar with tailing. Tell me, how should we pursue them?”

Zhang Beixing was baffled. ”Why does a straightforward matter sound so strange when you put it that way? But never mind, here’s the situation...”

They briefly discussed the plan. Liu Yi was completely on board. Two minutes later, as they followed the man, Zhang Beixing increasingly felt there was something seriously wrong with him.

Initially, Zhang Beixing had only noted that the man carried a knife and had a murderous aura, making him seem suspicious. Now, Zhang Beixing could definitively conclude that this man was definitely trouble. Because as he and Liu Yi followed, more and more people kept appearing near the man.

Although they weren’t obviously gathered, their movements suggested they were a group, all pretending not to know each other. Strangely, one person who had clearly turned right reappeared ahead of them shortly after. Others who were clearly walking away would, moments later, reappear at an alley corner, seemingly in different attire.

Zhang Beixing also discovered that their walking trajectories were very peculiar. At first glance, it seemed like normal strolling, but they were actually perfectly avoiding surveillance cameras. This was clearly not something ordinary people could do.

Moreover, the most critical thing was that Zhang Beixing overheard their conversation.

”Brother Zhou, you’re here, but why’d you bring two tails?”

”I don’t know. I was just walking, and these guys started following me out of nowhere. The young one looks a bit special. In a bit, I’ll lead them into a nearby alley. You guys help me handle them; don’t let them mess up our plan.”

”Alright, no problem. I’m great at this sort of thing. Speaking of which, Brother, have you figured out how to escape from Yanjing within forty-eight hours? The Yanjing Military District is determined to catch you this time!”

”Heh, they can try. I’ve been a terrorist for so many years. Everyone says they’ll get me, but only one or two ever have!”

Standing behind a nearby corner, Zhang Beixing used the keen hearing afforded by his peak human physique—all attributes at 99.9—to catch fragments of their conversation. Although the distance and ambient noise made it difficult to hear everything clearly, he managed to pick out several key clues and words: plan, escape, Yanjing Military District, and... terrorists?

We’ve stumbled onto something big! Zhang Beixing muttered, then turned to Liu Yi and whispered, ”These people are terrorists, Teacher Liu. If we can take them down, getting you awarded the title of ’Outstanding Citizen Representative’ won’t be a problem. You keep an eye on them here. I’ll go report this and be right back!”

”Really?”

Hearing this, Liu Yi was surprised and somewhat incredulous. Such a good thing... no, such an extremely wicked group... he’d actually stumbled upon them?

”It’s definitely true!” Zhang Beixing affirmed.

With this confirmation, Liu Yi rubbed his hands, visibly excited. He hadn’t followed in vain today! This time, he’d really hit the jackpot! An Outstanding Citizen Representative! With this title, he could finally hold his head high!

”Okay, go quickly then! I’ll keep an eye on them here and make sure they can’t escape!” Liu Yi responded excitedly.

Seeing him like this, Zhang Beixing nodded. Then, under the incredulous stares of the young ladies and the flattered and delighted gazes of the middle-aged women, he walked into the pink shop behind one such middle-aged woman.

Watching Zhang Beixing’s solid, muscular physique and handsome features, the middle-aged woman was ecstatic after a brief moment of shock. After all these years, it was finally her turn to feast and enjoy! So, she rubbed her hands and walked in with a broad smile.

Then she saw Zhang Beixing enter her shop, pull out his cellphone, and hurry to the second-floor restroom. He stood beside the window, surveying the terrorists on the street and observing the surroundings. He then spoke to the Yanjing operator on the phone: ”Hello, is this the Yanjing Police Station? I am a concerned citizen, Zhang Beixing. I’ve spotted a group of suspicious individuals in the shantytown area; they are suspected terrorists. I am currently at XXX, and the landmark building is XXX. Please come and arrest them immediately.”
