Beastmaster of the Ages

The battle of cosmic gods only calmed around an hour later with Yueling Starcage’s horrendous loss, something that nobody would’ve been able to imagine not too long ago. The cosmic guards that had always felt a sense of superiority had lost their spirits after this crushing and humiliating loss. Their allies who had seemed so reassuring earlier didn’t help and quietly left.

Eventually, more and more people left, leaving the members of Nullity Guild to pick up their spoils and celebrate. At that moment, Jiang Yunhai of Vermillion Bird Starcage saluted Tianming and said, ”Congratulations, Imperial Son, for your explosive victory!”

Tianming shook his head. ”After that huge blow, people know my trump cards and would no longer be willing to enter bets against me. All I got to show for that was a measly dazzling radiance too...”

Jiang Yunhai laughed heartily for a moment before reassuming a stern expression. ”I still have to show my respects to you for protecting Godly Sands. The only reason it’s still around is due to your generous contribution.”

”Generous?” Tianming shook his head again. ”I only held back because many people in our guild have the divine defect, which makes it rather inconvenient for me to go slaughtering as I like. Otherwise, I would’ve wiped them all out.”

”Ahem...” Jiang Yunhai felt rather awkward and merely considered Tianming’s words a show of humility.

”Still...” Tianming stretched his hand towards him naturally. ”Since you acknowledged me, that makes us friends. I hope that Nullity and Vermillion Bird look out for each other from now on.”

”That’s a must! Our imperator has a good relationship with the skyplunder imperator anyway.”

”Jiang Cheng?” Tianming asked with an odd look.

”That indeed... would be the honored name of our imperator,” Jiang Yunhai respectfully said.

The counterparts of Jiang Cheng, Jiang Qingluan and the other Vermillion Bird royals seemed to have their own starcage in the Realm of Chaos. They were the rulers of Ignispolis, but in the Realm of Chaos, Lightning Manor’s counterpart was Violetblitz. Mu Qingqing, on the other hand, had her own clan in Nullity. These parallels were close but also differed in odd ways.

”By the way...” Jiang Yunhai recalled something on the topic of the imperator. ”I wonder if you remember our grandaunt, Qingluan.”

”Jiang Qingluan? Very much so.” Tianming stifled a laugh. The reason he used ’divine celestial pattern’ as a euphemism for female private parts had started with Jiang Qingluan in the first place. Feiling had initially balked at calling it that, only for it to become a habit years down the line. The Jiang Qingluan he knew was enjoying life as a god in the Sun, but he had no idea what chaos Jiang Qingluan was like.

Jiang Yunhai breathed a sigh of relief. ”As expected... Matters of romance don’t fade even after a hundred millennia.”

He stole a glance at Mu Qingqing before sneaking Tianming a strip of paper that glowed like stars. He whispered, ”Grandaunt Qingluan wanted me to hand this to you. You must read it when you’re alone.”

”Why alone?”

”I am not aware myself,” he said with a snicker.

Tianming opened the paper strip and almost fainted when he saw those words. They read: ’Thief, do you think I’ll let you off after you stole my undergarments? I’ll make sure you use them for life! You’ll never escape my grasp!’

”Holy shit!” Tianming looked Ying Huo in the eye right after it popped up, both stunned. Did the undergarment incident also happen in the Realm of Chaos?!

”What’s written there?” Lan Huang popped out and looked before blankly reciting every word with its booming voice. ”Note: Don’t sniff it when you’re alone.”

Tianming hadn’t even read that part yet!

”Fuck!” Tianming put the strip away only to notice that every single member of the guild was staring at him.

”Heavens!” Jiang Yunhai left in a hurry when things turned sour.

Tianming cleared his throat and decided to take things into his own hands. Glaring at Mu Qingqing, he said, ”What are you looking at? Go get some rest.”

Everyone heard that and looked at Mu Qingqing’s vexed face, feeling a faint hint of respect for the imperial son’s manly bravado. ”It’s as if being a womanizer is his destiny...”

From that day onwards, the Dongshen Arena aligned with Nullity more and more, with Yueling Starcage’s territories, businesses and dueling platforms chased out one after another. The life of the members of Nullity Guild improved day by day.

Tianming was to thank for all these changes, and while it wasn’t much in the grand scheme of things, it was still the kind of spotlight he needed to spread his name throughout the Realm of Chaos. They would see him for how he really was. His reputation also got a good boost from the publicity, which was also why no troops from Yueling Starcage came despite Yueling Zhao’s insistence that they would destroy the Dongshen Arena. That alone showed that the Realm of Chaos had many different imperial-class starcages that called the shots and no single faction could impose their will on others with impunity.

Tianming had completed his main mission in the Dongshen Arena and used Yin Chen to gather many quintessence herbs, but he was in no rush to leave. After all, he still had enough dazzling radiance, needed a stable environment to stabilize his order, and hadn’t solved the Dongshen Vanishing Incident.

Twenty years passed in a flash as he quietly cultivated. To him, it barely felt like twenty days had passed. Tianming managed to stabilize his order enough, so he started using the dazzling radiance he had obtained from the Chaos Star Ruin and entered seclusion. He set his sights on becoming a heavencosmic god with galaxy-class order.
