Beastmaster of the Ages

As the Nullity Starcage didn’t have a fusion formation, its surface didn’t have land, seas or typical cities at all. There were also no people to be seen. The cosmic gods here must live within the chaos nova-source world instead! Such were the conditions that chaos nova source allowed for. Explosive order nova source needed to be sealed in, so the conditions in the core of the star created quite the destructive hellscape.

”Once you surround yourself with chaos cosmoforce and let yourself become a part of the Nullity Starcage, you’ll be able to sink in,” Mu Qingqing said, smiling.

Tianming did as he was told. Then, the two of them entered the spherical vortex. Tianming felt as if he had submerged himself in an ocean of limitless nova source, yet it was silent and lacking in order. Like fish, they swam towards the depths, and as he had expected, the inner part of the vortex was gentle and didn’t harm anyone at all.

Tianming eventually learned to circulate his own cosmoforce and convert it from the chaos nova source of the Nullity Starcage, which allowed him to propel himself faster and faster. It took around ten days before Mu Qingqing said that they were about to reach the center where Skyplunder Capital was.

Right as she said that, Tianming felt like they slammed into a bubble-like world. Everything seemed to open up before him. Cities in the Realm of Chaos were in fact bubbles within nova-source worlds. They didn’t need to be maintained through formations either. Conditions within the spherical vortex were stable, calm and suitable for living in.

Tianming saw a boundless city of cosmic gods shaped like a sphere, much larger than any universe city he had seen. It was mostly black in color, looking like a silent and ancient fortress. Though the inside of this world was quiet, it was still clearly packed with imperial-class energy. It only seemed low profile on the surface.

The instant he reached the city, he could feel countless burning hearts! Before he could react, he felt a strong force rushing towards him!

”Imperial Son!” Those words crashed into Tianming’s ears and left him shaken. He could feel their passion!

”What was that?” One after another, cosmic gods of chaos appeared, all gathered together and cheering wildly in Tianming’s direction. There were far too many of them; Tianming estimated around five billion, all in one city! This was comparable to the total population of all cities of a single faction of the Eightpart Pantheons combined, and they all lived in a single capital-class city. They could even be stronger than a pantheon and maybe even rival the flameyellow voidkin! He would never have dreamed to be welcomed back so wildly by so many cosmic gods.

”Tianming!” someone cried, their voice causing him to shake.

He snapped around and saw a cosmic goddess that was around seventy thousand meters in height, her long hair flowing gently and elegantly. Her tearful eyes seemed filled with boundless love for him, nurtured over countless years, yet, why did she look like that?

”Who is she?” Tianming asked.

”Your mother, Wei Jing,” Mu Qingqing answered.

Lightning seemed to strike him again. This gigantic woman looked the same as one of the most important people in Tianming’s heart. Even the way she looked at him was identical.

”Ming’er...” She stretched both hands out towards him, tears falling like rain. ”I finally managed to see you return home, Son, after all this time...”

Tianming widened his eyes, stunned. It wasn’t just odd, it also felt uncomfortable. Yet, her pouring feelings seemed real, much to his confusion.

”Tianming,” said another voice.

He looked to the crowd and saw a black-haired astral giant that stood a hundred thousand meters in height quietly hovering towards him, his brows sharp like swords and his long hair covering his shoulders.

”Li Muyang?” Tianming’s eyes shifted from his face to his arm. It was black, had hexagonal scales and an eye in the middle of the palm. Wasn’t he a sky plunderer too?! Wasn’t this his dad?

Li Muyang put an arm around Wei Jing’s shoulder and looked intensely at Tianming. Voice deep with feeling, he said, ”You’re finally back... Very well... very well...”

”It’s wonderful!” Wei Jing’s tears didn’t stop as her shoulders twitched from her sobs.

Across Skyplunder Capital, many people also shed tears nonstop. Tianming was the only one who didn’t know how to feel about the whole situation.

”Everyone, listen!” Li Muyang said, turning to address the billions of cosmic gods. ”Today is the day of the imperial son’s return! Let us all celebrate!”

Explosive cheers shook the imperial-class nova-source world. Amidst the tearful cheers, Mu Qingqing grabbed Tianming’s hand and said, ”See? I told you that this is your true home! Your grandparents and brother are here too! They all welcome you back!”

Holy crap, what in the world is going on?!
