Beastmaster of the Ages

There were eighty million people who were afflicted with the wallfacer curse and at risk of losing their lives. This was the extent of the suffering of the flameyellow voidkin that was deep within their bloodline. When word of this spread from Pentaphase Hall, Tianming heard a wave of shocked cries that he didn’t expect. At least a few billion flameyellow voidkin cheered and chanted ’emperor’ nonstop.

The parents of the eighty million afflicted alone made up hundreds of millions of people. Even if someone in the Ancestral Void Realm was lucky enough to survive the wallfacer curse, their children would get it all the same. It was a worry that stayed with the flameyellow voidkin for their entire lifetimes. Even though the birth of a child was supposed to be a joyous occasion, the curse made the rest of their lives bleak and filled with suffering. The pain that they had to endure all this time was all channeled into their spirited chanting of ’emperor’ from the depths of their hearts.

The cheers from outside also shook every single elite cosmic god within Pentaphase Hall. Dongfang Taisheng teared up as he watched the scene like an old senior. He bowed deeply to Tianming and proclaimed, ”Please, this old servant beseeches you! Bring salvation to the pitiful ones among us! Liberate them from their suffering!”

”Senior Dongfang! I intend to do my duty. There is no need for this,” Tianming sternly said. Just like that, any reservations the flameyellow voidkin outside the hall had of Tianming evaporated into nothing. It was even more mindblowing that Tianming didn’t even state his terms.

Hearing the sentiment of the countless flameyellow voidkin outside, Dongfang Taisheng looked at Mushan Hong and Beitang Yan. ”You two...”

Mushan Hong turned to Tianming and said, ”First, thank you for saving our son. We are also grateful that you are able to save the suffering among us. But when it comes to important affairs, we still have to represent those among us who hold these views and maintain our stance.”

”That’s fine.” Tianming wasn’t surprised to hear that. The couple had their own ideals and principles. If they had abandoned them just because of what Tianming did for them, then their convictions would be too weak to begin with. Still, he believed that once they got to understand him well, they would one day acknowledge him like the other imperial-star elders had.

Tianming had to come up with a way to deal with the matter of the dynasty and the flameyellow divinities. He had his subordinates come up with many proposals based on their vast experiences of managing the dynasty and their management style worked the best in lower-tier worlds. As such, he couldn’t guarantee anyone that the Tianming Dynasty would always stay the same, especially when he was trying to forge a new world.

He addressed the five elders and said, ”Let’s leave our opinions as they are today. But for the sake of convenience as I help those afflicted by the wallfacer curse, I still welcome all of you who want to return to the imperial star, their true homes. We don’t have to agree on how the dynasty will run right away, but that much we can do.”

Everyone in the hall looked at each other. Finally, Mushan Hong and Beitang Yan held hands and said, ”Thank you, Emperor! All of the Flameyellow will fondly remember your generosity!”

Once they said that, the other disagreements no longer mattered in the moment and could be hashed out later. The future was not certain, after all. As long as they were willing to fight for Tianming’s ambitions, why would those divisions matter? When the elder couple nodded, things fell in motion.

”Alright!” Mushan Feng had escaped the jaws of death without suffering any repercussions. He was so moved that he cried nonstop despite being such a huge, burly cosmic god. The near death and rebirth of the future hope of the flameyellow voidkin seemed like an omen that foretold that they still had a future.

Dongfang Taisheng opened the doors of the hall and led Tianming, Wudi, Moran and all others to the ten-billion-strong army.

”He’s here!” Many people held their breaths as they looked at Tianming and Dongfang Taisheng.

The five imperial-star elders then proclaimed in unison, ”From now on, our kind will carry this burden together! We shall return to the Flameyellow Imperial Star and fight to restore the Flameyellow for our Emperor Tianming!”

Explosive cheers erupted across the entire Ancestral Void Realm, a world consisting only of cosmic gods. All of them cheered with all they had. Their ancestors had persisted and kept their line and legacy going and finally, the day had come. They had finally waited for the person that could liberate them from suffering and restore them to glory! The efforts of their ancestors would finally be rewarded with this new hope. How could anyone not be impressed by a people of such grit?

Tianming had never denied how amazing the flameyellow divinities were, whether they were the enslaved flameyellow descendants in the Upper Star Ruin or the flameyellow voidkin. Long Xing, Long Qian and the others’ strong will had moved Tianming time and again. Every single one of them battled the heavenly shackles that had been forced on them.

The flameyellow voidkin, on the other hand, carried the wallfacer curse which plagued them generation after generation. Yet, not only did the descendants not hate their ancient criminal origins, they even took on the burden of restoring the Flameyellow to its former glory, maintaining most of what’s left of their cosmic-god legacy and battle techniques! Rather than them fighting for Tianming, he felt like he was fighting for them! There wasn’t much in it for himself personally in his ambitions. Instead, he was going for a win-win.

The move began amidst the historic cheers. This wasn’t just a normal move; they had to bring with them countless legacies including battle techniques, ancestral caeli, ancestral tombs and everything else to their new homes. Mushan Xue had spread the word about the sights in the imperial star to the rest, which had sparked their imaginations. Many people had been preparing for the move since the day Tianming made the promise with Mushan Feng. Few people truly felt suspicious or unsafe about the move, but they were the more rational ones who didn’t let moving to their promised land get to their heads.

During the move, Mushan Hong secretly went to Tianming, seeming rather apologetic, though he still asked, ”Emperor, you still haven’t answered my second question.”

Tianming smiled and shook his head. ”There’s nothing much to say about this right now.”

”What do you mean?”
