Beastmaster of the Ages

’Home’ was a distant yet exciting term for a people who had been exiled for tens of thousands of generations. It was the brightest light in the dark and the main reason the flameyellow voidkin persisted and survived for so long. It was their hopes and dreams.

Finally traveling towards their home was a process in processing many complicated emotions. Near the second half of the journey, they completely fell silent and spoke not a single word. Everyone sat at the front of the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb only to quietly watch the imperial star enlarge in their field of vision. Though Mushan Hong was stubborn, he was the one that reacted most strongly to the imperial star’s call, being the only one among the five elders to shed tears uncontrollably. Every single drop represented his deep love for home.

”We are home!” Those three words carried much joyous emotion.

”Home! Home!” The cheers erupted in the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, shaking everything within. They cried from the depths of their lungs, tears flowing nonstop, with Tianming as their witness.

The Flameyellow Imperial Star had been something he had raised all the way back when it was merely a heliacal-class world. The Sun had illuminated his childhood home once. Eventually, he built a strong foundation on the Sun itself, bringing his family, friends and lovers there.

Just as he completed it, it also completed him. Without Tianming’s Primordial Chaos Beasts and legacy from the Primordial God-Emperor, there was no way that the Sun would be restored to the maniverse class so soon. Without the Sun, Tianming wouldn’t so easily be able to convince the ten billion flameyellow voidkin soldiers to follow him back. He was just as grateful to the imperial star as the flameyellow voidkin were. It was this very home that tied the hearts of him and all other flameyellow descendants together. They had become one person at that moment.

As the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb cruised through the flaming clouds of the Flameyellow Guard Formation, Tianming opened the ship’s entrance. Mushan Feng and a few youths could no longer wait and jumped out of the ship immediately, bathing in the sea of flames and plunging down to the ground with their bodies. Hundreds of millions of cosmic gods followed suit, creating a meteor shower in the flaming sky, landing on the newly formed land of the Sun amidst cheers and tears of joy. When the ship finally landed and opened all its doors, even more cosmic gods fought to fly out like birds that had been caged for countless years, finally allowed to return to the woods.

”Big Brother, wait for me!”

”Home feels the best!”

”The blood in my entire body feels like it’s boiling... Is it because this is where we came from?”

”Dad, if only you lived for a few more years! This is the land of your dreams...”

Just like that, the ten billion cosmic gods made their way to this place. Some flew in the sky, some laid on the ground, others felt the soil and the seas as well as the prickly solar breeze. The Ancestral Void Realm had none of that. Most importantly, they could clearly feel that the imperial star was like a flaming heart, beating at a steady rhythm that caused all with the Flameyellow Bloodline to resonate with each other.

”How majestic!” Finally, Tianming and the imperial-star elders left the ship. Though they were the most passionate of all of them, they had to hold back as the elders and only stepped out of the ship last. They watched their people in absolute jubilation, unable to speak a word.

”Let me say a few things, then,” Tianming said as he rose into the sky, shining bright like the sun illuminating the Sun, drawing everyone’s attention. All of them looked at the bright star in the sky. ”Welcome home, everyone!”

”Emperor!” Thunderous cheers expressed their gratitude towards him.

Tianming didn’t put up airs and said, ”The imperial star still has room to grow in the future. Our goal is to restore it to the imperial class and become the top star in the universe! So, before we reach that point, don’t put too much effort into developing the place yet. Just focus on making a comfortable home for the time being.”

Dongfang Taisheng nodded. ”The emperor is right. We are still at war. Though the imperial star is a wild frontier, it is powerful and unassailable. When we reach the peak once more, there’ll be more than enough time to build an ideal home for us!”

”One last thing!” Tianming said, scanning the vast stretches of land with his blazing eyes. ”From now on, the flameyellow voidkin no longer exists! Neither do the flameyellow descendants! No slaves, no prisoners, only flameyellow divinities!”

Those words were crucial for those that persevered endlessly in the Ancestral Void Realm to hear. The flameyellow voidkin had a tragic history and they had long wanted to get rid of that label, but every one of them knew that it wouldn’t heal the scars that had been inflicted on them. Only when they returned to the imperial star were they no longer descendants of exiled criminals. Instead, they were the heroes that kept the Flameyellow’s legacy alive!

Tears and wild cries of bliss rocked the entire world following the proclamation, stunning the previous residents of the imperial star, including Granny Yin and her two hundred million devas. They trembled in their own little corner.

”Ten billion? Am I mistaken, Granny?” asked a black-armored deva.

”You are not...” Granny Yin said with a shaky voice.

”This kind of military might surpass ours! They’re as strong as a whole divine race!”

”They were nothing but a segment of the Flamyellow that has been exiled and imprisoned, yet they managed to develop into a divine race in ten thousand generations... What kind of monsters are they?!”
