Beastmaster of the Ages

News of the fall of their cosmic gods spread to Starmoon Haven, resulting in panic spreading across the entire world. The lofty Eightpart Pantheons had been torn down from their arrogant thrones, becoming the laughingstock of everyone on the star. There was nothing they could do but curse and lament their fate. Soon, many felt that the slaves would completely take over Starmoon Haven and hurried to flee with their families and riches.

”Too bad for them, the dying cosmic gods already sealed off the Starmoon Guard Formation. There’s no way they can leave in normal ships,” Tianming said. The formation that’d once protected the Sundown and Starfall Pantheons had now become their prison!

When their ships attempted to cross the Starmoon Guard Formation, a strong force pushed back and prevented them from leaving, completely ruining their hopes. There were only a few who had fortuna-class ships stuffed full of riches. They belonged to the overflower tycoons of Starmoon Haven, most of them descendants or friends of cosmic gods. Desperately, they pushed their ships to accelerate!

”Faster! Faster!”

But the Starmoon Guard Formation surged with power, forming gigantic rainbow-colored swords that rained down on the fortuna-class ships, ripping them apart. Even those that survived the barrage had no choice but to turn away and crash back on Starmoon Haven. The fortuna-class world had become their prison!

Cries of agony and despair rang out across the many cities in Starmoon Haven.

”The Starmoon Guard Formation attacked us! The slaves have already taken over!”

”It’s over! It’s all over!”

”Why haven’t they reported to the Ninefold Hellstar? Starmoon Haven’s a world under their jurisdiction!”

It was too bad the gag order from the cosmic gods that’d been put in place to maintain the reputation of the Eightpart Pantheons had prevented word of the troubles in Starmoon Haven from reaching the distant world.

Amidst all that chaos, a nine-headed mechanical dragon emerged from the Starmoon Guard Formation. Many members of the Eightpart Pantheons watched with shock and horror.

”Traitorous slaves!”

Though they cursed nonstop, all they could do was flee. Like the flameyellow descendants, they no longer dared to head to mound cities or larger settlements and chose to escape to the wild frontier instead. Yin Chen no longer needed to keep itself hidden, and countless silver insects surfaced all over the world. There was so many of it that it had temporarily made Starmoon Haven look silver from a distance!

”There are six maniverse-class ships from Starmoon Haven. Coupled with the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, we have seven in total. You should use all your starcloud bugs to gather up the three billion flameyellow descendants to board those ships,” Tianming told Yin Chen.

There were many Yin Chens beside every single flameyellow descendant. In no time at all, the ones who had been scattered in the wilderness were easily gathered up to board the ships.

”Saving our people is of the highest priority.” Long Xing stepped out of the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb and looked at Starmoon Haven’s landscapes with a sense of melancholy. While it was where he’d been born and had lived his entire life, it wasn’t his home.

His task was to move everything precious from Starmoon Haven to the ships, like the cosmic god corpses, legacy caeli, manna, artifacts, and much more. To do that, the resistance forces from the settlements had to be wiped out, particularly anyone who was a sixth-level overflower or stronger. It wasn’t a difficult task for Long Xing and his million overflowers. The rescue operation, pillaging, and extermination all took place concurrently.

The Eightpart Pantheons probably still have treasures hidden away, but Yin Chen and Bai Ye will uncover the best things soon enough. Thanks to the beasts, strategizing for the war effort had been greatly simplified. Without them, even keeping a decent line of communication would be difficult.

”I’ll see you again, Emperor,” Long Xing said before he zipped off in a beam of black and purple.

The Yin Chens in the other two havens began paying attention to the actions of the cosmic gods in those worlds as well. It seemed like a terrible battle was unavoidable for them.

In the void of space, two maniverse-class ships approached each other. From that area, the beauty of Starmoon Haven was clear to see. However, its dimming light was a sign that Tianming had taken over.

The two ships were spherical, one white and one black. The designs were simple, yet they were the most powerful and infamous ships from Wargod and Wondersky Havens. The reason they had been summoned there was to meet with a pale wonderian girl who brought the Worldgazer Skyeye back.

Cosmic gods stepped out of both ships, half devas, half wonderians. The wonderians were more numerous, as they always came in pairs. There were close to forty cosmic gods in total, all of them eccentric with their own peculiarities, some lofty, some fierce, and some cold and calculating.

The ones that stood out most were a two-hundred-meter-tall deva and a wonderian couple. The deva was cold and had a big frame like Hei Xuan, though he obviously had at least three times as many middlekin astrons as her. His beard seemed like it was made up of many long, straight, and sharp lances that menacingly grew out.

He was the starlord of Wargod Haven, Mo Tu, known for his merciless ways. While Hei Xuan wasn’t his daughter, she was his mistress despite their size difference. In that regard, wonderians had a much easier time, considering that the couples were always the same size as each other.
