Beastmaster of the Ages

In the blink of an eye, half a year passed. Tianming never let up on his humiliating provocations throughout.

Meanwhile, the cosmic gods of Starmoon Haven had kept themselves shut away.

Starmoon Haven was rocked with daily explosions. Its gates were bombarded over and over, while fire constantly rained down. The long-term bombardment had even significantly thinned the guardian formation layers. On several occasions, the Manicrest Dragonsource blast managed to breach the barrier and blow up a few continents.

But even so, the cosmic gods still held back.

Since they were so tolerant, Tianming and Long Xing only escalated further.

Long Xing directly assaulted regular cities, leaving smoldering wreckage in his wake while the once-high-and-mighty Eightpart Pantheons were made to taste the agony of eternal partings and displacement. This was war, and in war, the naive would die first.

City after city fell, and only the mound cities guarded by cosmic gods remained somewhat intact. Thousands of cities had been wiped out, along with numerous sacred lands, trade hubs, and mining zones.

A massive assortment of ores, manna, and other cultivation resources fell into the hands of the flameyellow descendants. They were redistributed, and with them, the strength of three billion flameyellow warriors soared across various aspects.

A single cosmic god had forced an entire fortuna-class world to its knees; it was truly awe-inspiring.

The Sundown and Starfall Pantheons had long been consumed by rage. They cursed the cosmic gods over and over, every single day. It grew louder and filthier each time, with no one stopping them.

In just six months, the reputation of the cosmic gods had hit rock bottom. The destruction of Fentian He’s clan had become the biggest joke in Starmoon Haven’s history.

The very “slave race” they’d once looked down upon had formed military corps that struck with ghostlike unpredictability. They often appeared in the most unexpected places, where Long Xing would breach a city, allowing overflowers to sweep through it.

They came fast, and left even faster.

As the flames of war engulfed Starmoon Haven like wildfire, Tianming gained two major rewards.

First, the flameyellow descendants, who had long been starved for resources, had now acquired huge amounts through looting. For them, it was like long-dry soil finally receiving rain. Most had breakthroughs, proving their extraordinary talent.

If it weren’t for the Heavenly Dao and lack of resources, each of them should have been far superior to the Sundown and Starfall Pantheons by a wide margin.

Secondly, Tianming had connected many more omnisentient threads!

Word had spread throughout Wondersky and Wargod Havens that Tianming and a single astralship had rained destruction upon Starmoon Haven with no one daring to stop him. A race once enslaved was now slaughtering everyone in Starmoon Haven.

The long-oppressed flameyellow descendants, under the sweeping wave of war propaganda, had had their hearts and minds completely united. Tianming’s omnisentient threads were rising every moment during the campaign.

Yin Chen and Bai Ye had long infiltrated the other two stars. The former continued propagating while the latter’s soul omnisentient power grew with each new thread. With Bai Ye the brainwashing king hyping up the achievements of the Invincible Ultimate God of Old and the Galactic Emperor, Tianming’s omnisentient threads grew dramatically!

Once the threads formed, people became aware of the Flameyellow Imperial Star, the mission to restore their race, and the nature of Tianming as a superweapon. Then they voluntarily spread the word.

In fact, Tianming had already reached ten billion omnisentient threads across the Midsky Tristars at the four month mark. Though he had yet to truly battle a cosmic god, he had a solid grasp of his strength.

“With ten billion omnisentient threads, one path to boosting my power in the Midsky Tristars is maxed out....” From there on out, if he wanted to grow stronger, the only way was to increase his cultivation.

But that wouldn’t be easy. The last time he had used overflow fragments to break through, his growth wasn’t as stable as Qingyu and the others. So he needed to take it slow, even though he still had overflow fragments. “For now, I’ll just have to rely on galaxy-class orders and settle down for some deep cultivating.”

The final battle would require power. They needed to wipe out every cosmic god in Starmoon Haven in one go!

“How’re you feeling?” Long Xing asked through the transmission stone.

“Still a little short...” Tianming replied.

“We can wait. But something about this feels off,” Long Xing said with a frown.

Tianming agreed that the situation was strange. “Even though they know they can’t catch us, doing nothing isn’t normal.”

The pair had agreed to stall for time to accumulate ten billion omnisentient threads, but now that they had those threads, continuing to stall felt too risky.

Their true goal now was to rescue all three billion flameyellow descendants on Starmoon Haven. But that would only be possible if the enemy’s interference was completely gone, as gathering them in one place would be suicide otherwise.

“Even if just one cosmic god is left alive, our people will become sitting ducks.” Long Xing had already demonstrated just how dangerous that scenario could be.

“Besides stalling, what else can we do?” Tianming asked.

“Yeah, that’s it.” Long Xing nodded. “It’s a race against time. Will they hit back first, or will you grow strong first instead?”

Tianming’s true strength had been hidden since his clash with Fentian He, so his power was essentially an unrevealed trump card.

“The only question is what exactly their retaliation will be...” Tianming muttered. The Upper Star Ruin was massive and full of powerhouses. It was hard to guess what the enemy was really waiting for. “Stay safe. Take our brothers and lay low for a while.”

“Got it,” Long Xing replied with a nod.

Still... a sense of unease lingered within Tianming. He wouldn’t underestimate the cosmic gods of the Eightpart Pantheons. “Yin Chen, expand your surveillance zone around Starmoon Haven. If they call for reinforcements, I want to know early so we can react.”
