Beastmaster of the Ages

”You’re seeking death!” The voice of the taixi fiendbeast changed to that of a boy, and with a shrill shriek, its eyes lit up with piercing light. Terrifying soul power swept out like a sea toward Yi Daiyan’s face, and at least tens of thousands of wildbeasts that had strayed there perished on the spot.

”You’re afraid.” Yi Daiyan smiled coldly and rushed toward the taixi fiendbeast, wielding a black and golden sword light.

Sword light exploded and condensed into a prison that swept through the underground world. Wherever it went, millions of underground wildbeasts were instantly killed, torn into ribbons and swallowed or burned by the power of nova source.

The underground world continued shaking. The black and golden sword light even impacted the Taixi Guard Formation, triggering an even greater magnitude earthquake.

Outside Taixi City, mountains collapsed, the earth cracked, magma churned like a sea, and giant beasts buzzed around like mosquitoes. The entire world seemed to be undergoing an apocalypse as various kinds of chaos and loud noises ensued.

But the loudest was still the scream of the taixi fiendbeast, whose voice penetrated the soul. The scream reached Taixi City and countless ebons knelt down, screaming in misery. Many even died on the spot from the piercing scream.

People could only see endless blood-colored light below them, the dazzling blood light hiding the anger of the taixi fiendbeast. Unfortunately, it was soon swallowed by the nova source storm and sword light.

”Two Rex Mundi! If you don’t go out to save the taixi fiendbeast now, it might die!” Inside Taixi City, many old ebons spoke with trembling voices.

In the crowd was a woman dressed in a black and red robe, with an elegant temperament like the mother of an empire. She was none other than Shenxi Xuanxi, who calmly stood there, her hands hidden in her sleeves. Her eyelashes slightly trembled and her eyes gently closed as she bit her red lips. ”The Yi Daiyan today is different from the past. Go out and you’ll die. Stay in Taixi City, on the other hand, and there’s still a chance to fight.”

”What about the taixi fiendbeast....” Many ebons were bleeding in their hearts. That was the great weapon of the ebons, and its power on the battlefield was no less than the bloodline wisteria. Losing the taixi fiendbeast meant a significant loss of strength; it was even more important than five hundred thousand astral gods.

”There is no way.” Shenxi Xuanxi sighed, and the golden eyes on her palms also dulled. Her gaze became colder, saying, ”Get through this calamity today, wait for some time, and it’ll be time for our revenge. By then, anyone standing against us, whether human or mutt, none shall be spared.”

Her words had just fallen when a more piercing scream came from below. With their vision, they could easily see that, under the suppression and massacre of the Infinitum Stele, the taixi fiendbeast, which wasn’t strong in individual combat, was being completely dominated by Yi Daiyan.

Under the assault of the black and gold sword light, the taixi fiendbeast, formed by billions of eyeballs, exploded on the spot, turning into countless eyeballs that scattered around the area. The eyes gradually dimmed, losing their vitality. At the same time, they lost their resentment, pain, and fear, and a tinge of relief was added.

An end meant there would ultimately be a new beginning. Being unable to end it but forever in suffering, and unable to live or die was the greatest suffering in the world.

Nova source flames, storms, and ice swept through, and every fleshy eyeball was burned to ashes, returning to dust. The taixi fiendbeast had perished without even a final scream. The Ebonian tyrant lurking in the underground world quietly died at Yi Daiyan’s hands.

Inside Taixi City, the powerful ebons watched on, not daring to make a sound.

Finally, the chaotic underground barely calmed down. Only the beast wave still roared and rioted.

Yi Daiyan put away the Infinitum Stele, and without a word, spread her Souldaemon Wings and prepared to leave. Contrary to the expectations of the ebons, she didn’t launch an attack on them after killing the taixi fiendbeast. The ebons were, after all, stronger than the sanctlighters.

”Yi Daiyan!” Shenxi Xuanxi shouted. If Yi Daiyan was the strongest woman in the Infinitum Mundus, Shenxi Xuanxi was ranked second. She was Shenxi Xingtian’s older sister and wasn’t young, but she still remained elegant and charming despite her age. Instead, she had grown more noble and more charming.

Yi Daiyan stopped and glanced at her.

”One day, my ebons will use the blood of you and all your followers as a sacrifice for the taixi fiendbeast,” Shenxi Xuanxi said.

”Heh.” Yi Daiyan’s lips curled up in a helpless smile. ”I really thought you’d say something more creative.”

She glanced at Taixi City, paused, and said, ”No need to wait for ’one day’. I’ll soon give you a chance to kill me.”

After speaking, she shook her Souldaemon Wings and flew out through the underground passage.

......

”The taixi fiendbeast has been killed by the first rex mundi!” When Yi Daiyan released this news, it spread throughout Ebonia in a short time.

For a while, all the regal clans, peak clans, foreign experts, and major cities were boiling over with excitement. Everyone celebrated.

The ebons had fallen and no one hesitated to kick them while they were down.

”It’s only the first infinitum-class wildbeast that died in battle.”

”More will die!”

”One day, there’ll be no more wildbeasts harming people on Ebonia, and no more ebons!”

”To be honest, the proliferation of underground wildbeasts on Ebonia must’ve been secretly manipulated by the ebons. They’re the culprits.”

Everyone was excited. The regal clans, seeing Yi Daiyan’s achievements, were all overjoyed. Shortly after this good news spread, a secret war missive arrived in the hands of the masters of the regal clans and peak clans.

Written on it was: ”Prepare for war immediately! The Infinitum Bodhimanda will send out three million astral gods to attack Taixi City!”

Currently, Yi Daiyan, apart from the Swordgod Lin Clan and the ebons, had the support of eleven regal clans and thousands of peak clans. The forces of those peak clans, when combined, were not to be underestimated.

At present, the ebon astral gods guarding the Taixi Guard Formation and Ebonopolis numbered around a million each, and there were about a million astralships as well. Sending out three million astral gods to attack Taixi City meant triple the military power!

Among them, all the peak clans combined could contribute more than a million astral gods. For the remaining 1.7 million or so astral gods, each regal clan only needed to dispatch around two hundred thousand astral gods, close to half of their strength.

The other half would naturally stay in their own guardian formations to prevent beast waves and sneak attacks from the ebons.

As soon as the war missive came out, everyone was shocked. They had thought that this day would still be far away. But, completely unexpectedly, it had come so quickly, decisively, and ruthlessly!
