Beastmaster of the Ages

Shenxi Shang paused for a moment in shock. ”Is that so? Hahaha.... But so what? Quite a few of our ancestors were just like you, but none of them had a good end. Yao’er, you’re too young, so you’re confused and clueless. Once you mature, you’ll come to understand that your true purpose, the true purpose of our bloodline, is to ensure the eternal prosperity of our clan! You might be disgusted by me now, but you’ll eventually join me in defending the Shenxi Clan’s legacy. We’ll be the defenders of all ebons! I don’t mind that you hate me at all.” He guffawed, letting his cold voice ring throughout the entire space.

”Do you really not care about anything other than our legacy?” Shenxii Yao said, shaking her head. Her fate had already been decided by others long ago. Yet she found herself wondering if she was even her own person at all if she let everyone else make choices for her. What was even more tragic was how many of her ancestors were named exactly the same as her, further decreasing her individuality.

”Of course I don’t mind! Legacy and strength is everything to me! Shenxii Yao, the only reason you have the right to wax tragic in this place is the powerful bloodline you inherited from our ancestors. If you lose everything one day, you’ll come to understand that things like living a life or falling in love are mere jokes. Without power, even stray dogs will be able to piss on you! If it ever comes to that, the only one you’ll be fit to mate with is actual dogs. That’s when you’ll learn what true disgust is,” he said, growing more and more agitated.

”Wow, how touching you make it sound.” Shenxii Yao had Tianming’s head on her thighs and was stroking his face. She smiled and turned to Shenxi Shang. ”Big Brother, since you’re willing to do everything for the sake of the clan, let me ask you a question.”

”Ask away.”

”If your little sister, whose life is entirely controlled by you loses her first time, which has nothing to do with you, right in front of you, would you still be able to pretend that nothing’s wrong in the future and play the role of a model husband of the Shenxi Clan?” She turned and looked at the mini star that held her brother. Shenxi Shang was completely silent. ”Haha, I get it now. Even you can’t cast everything aside for the sake of legacy alone.”

She continued touching Tianming’s face and said, ”Back home, you and our parents constantly monitor me to the point that I don’t know what the point of my life is. This is the perfect place. You can’t move at all, and all you can do is watch. Nobody will ever know what happened here, so I’ll let myself loose just this once. I’ll never have a chance like this ever again since I’m nothing but a puppet for your ends. Big Brother, you’re a man of the Shenxi Clan, so you’ll be able to overlook this minor indiscretion, right? To earn your forgiveness, I’ll kill him after we do it. I trust that you won’t harbor any bad feelings over this small matter.”

She pinched Tianming’s nose and smiled. ”Seriously... being able to encounter a good-looking guy in this place is rather lucky for me. At the very least, he isn’t disgusting.”

First, there was complete silence, then Shenxi Shang exploded. ”Shenxii Yao, are you insane?! You’re sick in the head! Do you know what nonsense you’re talking?! What’re you trying to do?!”

”What? I thought you were more magnanimous than that. We only have to care about the ’bigger picture’ of our legacy, right? We can easily pretend that what happens here stays here. I’m sure you won’t tell the seniors about this, either, if only to save face. If you can accept this and move on, I’ll follow your example afterward and fulfill our mission of passing on the legacy of the clan. You need to show me by example what killing your own ego for the sake of the clan looks like,” she said, smiling. She felt even more calm after hearing her brother freak out.

”Stop messing around, you!” Shenxi Shang felt like he was going insane. After a few moments, he took a deep breath and softened his tone. ”Yao’er, please don’t do this. Give your big brother a chance. I’ll respect you and strive to become someone you can look up to. I’ll cultivate less and spend time with you, roaming the Infinitum Mundus at your side. I beg you. There’s somebody else in here with us. Please don’t let her see something so humiliating.”

”I don’t care. It’s got nothing to do with me. I’ll close my eyes and cover my ears. I won’t tell anyone about this,” Yi Taoyao finally said after a long silence.

”It’s fine. Even if you told someone about this, others will just think that you’re trying to soil the Shenxi Clan’s good name. It’s not like there’ll be any proof,” Shenxii Yao said to her.

”Good point. I can respect that! Go ahead and do it. Then kill him and leave his body there. I have a grudge against him and I want to mutilate him a bit,” Yi Taoyao said. Yi Taoyao had seen Tianming get those two fingers, so if he was sent out by an Oldgod Ring, she wouldn’t have a chance to get them anymore.

”Very well.”

”Shut up!” Shenxi Shang roared, feeling incredibly vexed, yet unable to do anything about it, trapped within the mini star as he was. He could only watch and listen to the whole thing through the hexagonal holes. He never would have thought that something like this would happen at the final battlefield.

”Big Brother, I hope you’ll be happy taking our clan’s legacy as your eternal mate. Even though your divine soul is incredibly powerful, it doesn’t change the fact that you’re a soulless person in truth.” At the end of the day, there was nobody who could stop her from doing what she was about to do. She pulled Tianming’s clothes apart, seeing him as nothing but a tool to destroy Shenxi Shang. Let’s see if Big Brother can still lecture me about our legacy ever again. Though she was unfamiliar with the things between men and women, she still knew the rough steps of what to do.

”Lin Feng...” She looked down at the youth beneath her and took a deep breath, ”even though you’ll die in the end, you still got a good deal, wouldn’t you say? Maybe I’ll remember you forever.” She mentally filtered out Shenxi Shang’s bestial roars as she felt up Tianming’s chest with her fingers.

”Wait a second, I have a question!”

Shenxii Yao’s eyes snapped open and saw Tianming looking at her, wide eyed.

”Girl, I still don’t have heptastar organs! If you’re too rough on me I probably won’t even be able to properly finish! Don’t you think we should reschedule this for another time?”

Shenxii Yao was utterly stunned. She’d had her other hand and taixi divine eye pressed against Tianming’s head the whole time.

While she was still frozen, Tianming used Skypierce Finger with his black left arm, punching a hole through her heart. ”Talk about being careless. My hand’s the strongest in this universe! Well, since you’re so eager for me to stick it in you, I’m only too happy to oblige!”
