Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

”I’ll study it for now. To be honest, I don’t really trust what’s in these documents,” Wei’en said nonchalantly. ”To me, they’re just a reference. I’ll obtain more accurate information through my own verification and experiments.”

”Really?”

”Of course.”

Teresa breathed a sigh of relief, patting her chest. ”That puts my mind at ease... But I still have to apologize, Director. I oversimplified things.”

”It’s alright.”

Wei’en checked the time and saw it was almost time for the gathering at the tower in the Nightmare Realm World. He decided to end the call. ”Let’s leave it at that. Please organize the documents as quickly as you can.”

”Yes, Director. I’ll work with Escobar and the others to sort it out and get it to you as soon as possible.”

”Good.”

”Goodbye, Director.”

Teresa bowed. ’Even if the Director doesn’t mind about that research report, I have to get my hands on it!’ she resolved.

”Goodbye.”

Wei’en waved goodbye to her and shut off the communicator.

As the screen went dark, Wei’en tidied up the items on his workbench. He looked at the Era Relic with the dark red cover and sighed.

’Forget it. I’ll just wait for Clelia to think it through before I take a look.’

He then put the relic back into his ring, took out the Nightmare Realm Entry Ticket, and stuck it to his forehead.

Clelia’s situation, combined with a few other recent events—the withered tree and mutated creature that appeared when he advanced his Meditation Technique, the fusion of the Origin sub-body... it all made him even more wary of the strangeness of the Extraordinary World.

Wei’en now realized that even with his incredibly capable panel, there were still many bizarre things he didn’t know about.

’In the end, it all comes down to my lack of strength...’

The next moment, as the Nightmare Realm Entry Ticket activated, his consciousness reappeared in the area below the tower.

’Come to think of it, it’s been a few days since I last entered the Nightmare Realm World. I wonder if other regions are as chaotic as the Cordo Sea.’

”...Damn it, the Heroic Saintess just left, and now the Judgement Saintess has shown up. The Eastern Continent really is no place for people!”

”Are you sure?”

”Of course!”

”Then take a look at those guys from the Blood Spirit School over there...”

A few shadowy figures looked in the direction he pointed and heard a distorted, red-robed shadow shouting loudly, ”...Buying the corpses of Dawn Church Holy Professionals! Top prices paid!”

”They... they can’t be from the Eastern Continent!”

”Even if they’re not, it doesn’t matter... The fact that they dare to keep buying the corpses of Holy Professionals means that the Judgement Saintess isn’t much of a threat to them...”

”That makes sense. The Judgement Saintess, Celestia, hasn’t been active on the continent for years. Her target this time is probably that Mutated Mage. What does your Despair Sect have to be afraid of?”

”Heh heh... Afraid of what? It seems you know very little about Saintess Celestia.”

”Oh?”

”As the Judgement Saintess of the Dawn Church, the one thing Saintess Celestia can’t stand is heresy. Forget about our Despair Sect; she’ll even hunt down and kill members of sects that don’t even practice slaughter!”

”Huh?”

”Only clueless fools like you would think she’s not a threat!”

”She... Fuck, what am I seeing!?”

”What... Huh?? The number 600...”

The newcomer was none other than Wei’en, who hadn’t been seen in the Nightmare Realm World for a long time. This time, he once again chose not to hide his Origin Power. The large number ”six hundred,” written in the Gonzalez language on his forehead, threw all the surrounding Extraordinaries into a panic.

”Origin Power over six hundred... His strength must have reached Regent-grade, right?”

”Damn it, quiet down! He, he... I’m sorry, milord. I didn’t mean to offend you.”

After catching Wei’en’s gaze, those shadowy figures hurriedly lowered their heads.

For the Extraordinaries and Holy Professionals in the Transfer Area, most of whom were only at Captain-grade, an expert with an Origin Power of six hundred was not someone they could afford to provoke.

This was true even in the Nightmare Realm World, despite the restrictions set by the Nightmare Sect!

”Keep talking. I want to know about that Saintess...”
