Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

Clelia sat down next to him, a pitiful look on her beautiful face. ”This time, I really am just here to stay for a little while...”

[Because your Spirit level is over 120, the Charm Spell from Clelia Yuli Biondini (Main Body) had no effect on you. Evaluation: She really didn’t need to go through all this trouble. All she had to do was lift... Special Reward: Survival Points +2, Spirit Level +1.]

This prompt appeared in Wei’en’s mind, but his attention wasn’t on it.

Being stared at like that by Clelia made the fire he had just barely suppressed surge up again.

To put it directly, he was really feeling the heat now...

”Pretty please~?” A flash of a smile crossed Clelia’s eyes. ”Brother Wei’en~”

”N-No! Absolutely not!”

A shiver ran through Wei’en. He took two steps back and refused, ”The Dawn Church’s Saintess Candidate is right next door, and that Melbel is watching...”

’Brother?’

’He had no idea how old she was, but she was definitely older than him.’

’Besides, calling him that was obviously not normal. Heaven knows what she was plotting.’

Seeing the clarity return to his eyes, Clelia pouted. ”You’re right, that Guardian Knight really is annoying. If it wasn’t raining, I wouldn’t have dared to come over.”

”But speaking of which, that Dawn’s Favored is a pitiful person...”

”A pitiful person? Why do you say that?”

’How could Kali, a Saintess Candidate for the Dawn Church, possibly be considered pitiful?’

’Compared to her, the Vasquez People living in the Laos District were the truly pitiful ones.’

’But no one seemed to be stepping up to save them. On the contrary, plenty of groups like the Eternal Life Association and the Despair Sect treated them as expendable...’

”You want to know?”

Wei’en nodded. ”I am indeed quite interested in the Dawn Church, hmm, in the four great True God Churches, and in you all as well.”

”Well then, how about we make another deal?”

”What?”

”I’ll tell you these things, and you let me live here~”

”No way!”

”Really? I happen to know many, many secrets that outsiders aren’t privy to. I could even tell you the little secrets of the Dawn Church’s Sect Leader, you know.”

Wei’en: ”...”

’With Clelia’s power, if she really wanted to stay by force, he couldn’t stop her. What difference did a deal make?’

”So?” Clelia leaned against the workbench, not looking the least bit worried he would refuse. ”Do we have a deal?”

”Not interested. Even if you don’t tell me, I’ll find these things out sooner or later.”

”Fine, then. Let that kind lady next door continue to be pitiful.”

Wei’en remained unmoved, seeming genuinely uninterested. He changed the subject, pointing out the window and asking, ”What’s the deal with that Deep Sea Giant Beast?”

”Deep Sea Giant Beast? That’s a rather descriptive name,”

Clelia didn’t seem to truly intend on making a deal either and didn’t press the issue. ”It’s a Sea Monster from the Cordo Sea. Its power is terrifying.”

”If you had stared at it for a few more seconds just now, there probably wouldn’t have been a single scrap of you left.”

”But it usually stays in the Deep Sea regions, and very few people have ever seen it... I never expected it to come so close to the city-state this time.”

”Oh? It won’t attack Caster, will it?”

Clelia said irritably, ”If it were really going to attack, do you think I’d still be here with you?”

’It won’t?’

’Good, as long as it doesn’t attack here.’

Wei’en breathed a sigh of relief. Speaking of which, based on what Clelia had just said, it seemed she didn’t know the giant beast’s name—Rashim.

Just then, Clelia’s gaze swept across the workshop as if she had discovered something new and interesting. ”I just noticed you know how to make Magic Potions, huh? Hmm? Perfect-grade??”

’Crap,’

Wei’en cursed inwardly. He had just finished making the Enlightenment Potions when he was affected by that monster, and he’d completely forgotten to put the Magic Potions away.

”Hey, those are...”

Before he could speak, Clelia had already picked up two bottles of perfect-grade Enlightenment Potion, examining them before her eyes, her face filled with astonishment. ”They really are perfect-grade Enlightenment Potions... Did you really make these?”

Wei’en wanted to deny it, but the uncleaned crucible was still right there, the dregs inside still warm. He couldn’t deny it even if he wanted to.

”I just got lucky...”

’That kind of perfunctory excuse could probably only fool a complete novice, and even he didn’t sound convinced.’

’As expected,’

Clelia licked her lips. ”I didn’t expect you to have this kind of talent for Magic Potions... Now I’m becoming more and more interested in you, Mr. Apprentice.”

’As if you weren’t interested in me before the Magic Potions.’

Wei’en grumbled inwardly for a bit before storing all the Magic Potions in his Space Ring. ”Talent is born from necessity. If you had to eat nothing but black bread every day, you’d find a way to make money, too.”

”Is that so?”

As Clelia watched him, the smile and charming expression on her face slowly receded until they vanished completely, replaced by cold indifference and a deathly stillness.

’A Wizard Apprentice who could nullify her abilities wasn’t a huge deal. Even if his power was growing quickly, he didn’t pose much of a threat to her.’

’But if you added ”potion-making genius” to the mix, she would have to reconsider.’

A jolt went through Wei’en. He’d only just noticed Clelia’s expression. ’That scary?’

’Wasn’t she just fine a moment ago? Why the sudden change?’

”Wh-what’s wrong with you?”

Clelia’s calm, emotionless eyes stared at him as she spoke slowly, ”I was just thinking... with your talent, whether it’s still appropriate to let you remain in the Ghost Soul School...”
