”Your Highness, did you enjoy yourself?”

Rigel’s words spoken while smiling were somewhat joke-like.

But irony showed through behind the question.

He asked on purpose while knowing she could not have enjoyed it.

That was part of his ”play.”

”...Ah.”

Amelia nodded small.

That expression was dark.

There was no force at her mouth, and a shadow fell on her pupils.

No rise and fall of feeling could be seen. Only a quiet as if she had given up on everything drifted.

”This is a problem. I like raping women who cry and scream, but I don’t prefer raping a lifeless tuna woman.”

”…”

Amelia was silent.

From those pupils the light that had once been there was being lost.

The flame called will seemed about to vanish any moment.

(Was the stick a bit too strong? After all, right now…)

Not breaking the play was the iron rule.

The next move to draw a future convenient for himself.

He turned thought and reached a conclusion.

”For succession to the throne, merits are necessary. It’s not a matter of today or tomorrow, but it’s better to steadily pile merits.”

”…That’s right.”

Amelia finally reacted.

Despair and fatigue still seeped in the voice, but she understood the meaning of the words.

The reason inside her was beginning to restart slightly.

”I am the hero of the Valstine campaign. And now it’s the final of the Academy Martial Arts Tournament. Not only academy people, nobles and knight orders and such have come to watch as well.”

”Mm…”

”What happened in this illusion world is known only to me and Your Highness. The gap in power is obvious, but the spectators have no way of knowing that. After I release the magic, I can yield the win to Your Highness.”

”Wha…!?”

Amelia’s eyes opened slightly.

A wave of feeling pressed in in an instant.

Surprise, confusion, suspicion, and a very slight hope.

Light that had been about to be lost flickered in the depths of her pupils.

”I-is it really all right? Yielding the win among that many spectators…”

Confusion and bewilderment seeped into that question.

An unbelievable story.

She did not understand the reason he would show that much concession, and her wariness swayed strongly.

The champion of the Academy Martial Arts Tournament.

That was not a mere event winner.

It was an honorable result that could stand alongside ”top of academics” and ”student council president.”

No, it could even surpass those.

Academic evaluation and school offices could involve behind-the-scenes work and politics.

On the other hand, wins and losses in a public martial arts tournament were clear to anyone’s eyes.

There was no cheating.

”Yes. For my pleasant rape life, excessive results get in the way. I advanced to meet new targets, but even if I win the final there is no next. To me, victory in the final doesn’t matter.”

”Doesn’t… matter…”

The position of Fifth Princess, content with the last seat of succession.

To crawl up from there she needed even a little more results.

The title of Academy Martial Arts Tournament champion was one of those.

Even if it could not become power that directly decided succession to the throne, it would certainly become material to step one step forward.

For Amelia now, results she absolutely did not want to miss.

He had discarded that value as ”doesn’t matter.”

”However, there is a condition.”

”W-what?”

Amelia involuntarily readied herself.

On the light finally held out, the shadow of a trap seemed to overlap.

”Please let me creampie rape you again someday. Of course, next time in the real world.”

”Wha…!?”

Words that made one doubt their ears were readily announced from Rigel’s mouth.

Amelia’s eyes opened wide.

It was a demand that further trampled her dignity.

”I’ll give you the anal plug from earlier. Please loosen it regularly and thoroughly. Next time I will demand an active attitude such as Your Highness taking off her clothes herself and spreading her anus.”

”Th-that’s—”

The words stuck in her throat.

She wanted to say she didn’t want to.

She wanted to refuse.

But she imagined what would happen if she said that, and the words stopped there.

”Nn? Some objection?”

Quietly, yet with a voice that had no place to flee, Rigel asked.

In those eyes there was only composure, and he even seemed to be enjoying Amelia’s reaction.

”...No, I understand. I promise.”

Amelia hesitated for a while, but decided to take the deal.

The final of the Academy Martial Arts Tournament.

An opponent she would inevitably lose to if they fought properly, and even now she was being made to know that overwhelming gap in power.

In that situation Rigel said he would lose on purpose.

The price was humiliating.

But in the first place if he felt like it, sneaking into Amelia’s own room and raping her would be a simple thing.

Because she knew his power she could assert that.

A future of ”even if I refuse I’ll meet the same fate” was easily imaginable.

Thinking substantially, she had no option to avoid rape.

What there was was only whether to receive the presented merit or refuse it.

”Very well! Then the negotiation is established!!”

Rigel nodded looking satisfied.

That smile was full of certainty that everything had advanced as he intended.

Then he released the illusion world.

”Now then, the final is finally entering the climax!! By special magic a fierce fight seems to be unfolding in a mental world!!”

The female commentator’s voice carrying heat rang as if shaking the giant arena.

That rising voice rang like a bell, but the audience seats’ reaction was still lacking.

What filled the venue was rather confusion and irritation.

At the center of the arena, the figures of the two facing each other were the cause of that silence.

Fifth Princess Amelia and hero of the Valstine campaign Rigel.

With swords still readied they did not move like statues.

An abnormal silence as if time had stopped.

”Well, even if you say mental world…”

”Are they really fighting in a place like that?”

”They only look like they’re standing.”

”Give the money back. This is the final, right?”

The instant someone spat that, as if a dam broke a stir spread.

Disappointment and irritation swirled, and that eventually converged on one phenomenon.

Booing.

The spectators surrounding the arena made the air in the venue heavy like pressure with their dissatisfaction.

But there was one who alone resisted that air.

The voice ringing from the commentary seat.

Only that tone rose as if out of spite.

”Please rest easy! Right now the two of them are in a fierce battle in the mental domain by magic—”

”That’s why we can’t see it!”

”Too plain!”

”At least make it glow or explode!”

From here and there in the audience seats merciless jeers flew.

As if that were the only means of resistance against the silent final.

Then.

”…Nn? Hey, look.”

”They moved!”

”Finally!”

Someone’s shout opened a hole in the sunk air.

As if drawn by that voice, countless gazes gathered toward the center.

The next instant.

At the center of the arena the two’s bodies jumped small at the same time.

It was only an instant.

But it was certain movement.

Continuing, a clear light dwelled in their pupils.

As if they had woken from a deep sleep.

”Now then everyone! The fight in the real world seems about to resume! Just how will the conclusion go!?”

The commentator’s voice resonated with a shout full of joy.

The venue exploded.

Cheers.

A raging wave of sound shook the audience seats.

”Go go Fifth Princess!!”

”Overwhelm him!!”

”Long live the student council president!!”

”Lord Rigel! Lord Rigel! Lord Rigel!”

”Lucky bastard! I bet believing in that luck! Win!!”

”Glory to the Gousel marquis house!!”

Miscellaneous support.

Each person’s beliefs, intentions, bets and pride mixed in the cheers.

At the center of that Rigel pressed his chest looking pained.

”…Zee, zee…”

While breathing with his shoulders he clenched his teeth.

Had the special magic given a rebound to his flesh.

Or it also looked as if he had taken some damage from the fight in the mental world.

”…Fun.”

Amelia was cool.

Without disordering even one breath she quietly readied her sword again.

Elegant, and without openings.

That blade tip was sharp as if tearing the air and struck the chests of those who saw it.

”Kuh… damn it…!!”

Rigel barked.

In those words pain, anger, and defeat all seeped.

As if encouraging himself, and as if cursing the woman in front of him.

”…Cursing lowers your dignity, son of a marquis house.”

Amelia answered matter-of-factly.

There was no sway in that tone.

Rigel clicked his teeth looking exaggeratedly frustrated and gripped his sword again.

”The early part of the match I was advantageous! I was the one pressing with sword technique!!”

Rigel shouted.

It seemed like an excuse to himself, and also had a ring of appealing to the spectators.

Amelia nodded.

”I will acknowledge that. Your sword technique is splendid. I hear you were active in the Valstine campaign. It is not for show.”

”Then—! Then why does it become like this!!”

A voice as if wrung out.

He looked as if he could not help shouting.

Amelia’s eyes narrowed slightly.

That cold light stabbed Rigel like a blade of ice.

”Complacency is your cause of defeat.”

”…”

”Putting in half-baked magic was the greatest mistake.”

The point was accurate and ruthless.

The two’s voices were unnaturally large and rang through the whole arena.

The picture of ”the princess is advantageous” was clear.

Amelia had recovered in the mental world.

It was natural for the spectators to speculate that.

”I am the proud Fifth Princess. Know that winning against me in the mental world was impossible from the start.”

That prestige showed and hid behind the words.

Rigel’s face warped.

On that expression for only an instant a somewhat theatrical shadow fell.

A ”performer who overdid it.”

It would not be strange if someone mocked him that way, but there was no one who pointed it out.

The special stage called the final stole their observation and judgment.

The spectators only waited eagerly for the winner’s figure.

”D-don’t screw with me…! I, I…!!”

A voice as if squeezed out.

But as if even those words were cut off.

Amelia stepped in one step without sound.

Wind flowed along her movement.

”It is over. Next I will not even give you time to think of excuses.”

That pronouncement resembled a death executor’s.

Cold and quiet.

A decided future with no place to flee.

In that instant shock and impatience spread on Rigel’s face.

”Wai—”

The instant Rigel shouted, the audience seats boiled further.
