”Hm?”

When Rigel turned his gaze that way, a girl student was there.

The figure advancing her steps slowly was as imposing as a knight.

Probably a senior. A third-year at that.

Her features were beautifully arranged, yet they gave a somehow cold impression.

What drifted at her eyes was intelligence with emotion cut off, and cruelty.

While glaring at Rigel she continued.

”You’re the first-year Rigel, aren’t you?”

”How about giving your own name before asking someone else’s?”

Rigel answered provocatively even while using polite speech.

Irony and flippancy mixed in that voice, but a moment of wariness dwelled in the depths of his eyes.

Then he noticed.

Beside him, Char had gone pale.

”R-Rigel-san… That person is—”

”I am Aria. A third-year serving as Discipline Committee chair.”

The girl, Aria, named herself imposingly.

Confidence overflowed from that attitude.

It was a firm stance that only someone who did not doubt her own justice could have.

”Aria? If I recall… the person with the byname ’Seven Treasure Sword, Condemnation Execution.’”

For Rigel it was rare that he had firmly remembered another person’s information.

But thinking about it, it was only natural.

She was his third-round opponent, and depending on how things went she was of course someone he intended to rape.

”You are suspected of a serious school rule violation… no, of criminal acts. I will take you to the interrogation room, and depending on how things stand I will hand you over to the royal capital guard.”

”Yes? Criminal acts?”

Rigel furrowed his brow.

Aria continued without flinching.

”…Playing dumb is useless. I know you threatened numerous girl students and had physical relations with them. That girl there is one of the victims too.”

”M-me? That’s not true. Rigel-san is a kind person—”

Char’s voice was thin, yet she desperately tried to shield him.

Emotions such as fear and confusion peeked from that state, but she never swallowed her words.

As if trying to resist a great current with her small body and words.

The faint light dwelling in the depths of those eyes was the figure of someone who believed itself.

”How pitiful. So you won’t hurt yourself, you’re trying to believe the criminal is ’actually a good person despite how he looks.’ There are victims like that sometimes. If you put distance from the perpetrator, you’ll return to your senses eventually.”

A cold voice cut the air.

As if she had never intended to understand Char’s feelings from the start, Aria declared it in a definitive tone.

At those words the surrounding temperature seemed to drop a little.

Her eyes were cold like glass with emotion stripped away, and they accurately struck the opponent’s sore point.

(…This got kind of annoying.)

Rigel sighed inside his head.

He did not let it show on his face and only smiled bitterly inside.

What swirled in the depths was neither resignation nor anger, but a calm observation of the situation.

It was true he was living a life of rape after rape.

In the Valstine campaign he had raped numerous enemy soldiers, civilians, even royalty.

Honor and merit he had seized with hands smeared in blood and love juices.

After that, as preparation to be granted the title of frontier count, he had come to attend the Royal Academy, and taking the chance he was enjoying a rape life unique to academy life.

He knew rape was a crime, but so what.

The status of legitimate son of a marquis house, the merit of being a key figure of the Valstine campaign, and overwhelming combat ability…

There was no one who could charge Rigel with a crime.

There should not have been.

”Anyway, I’m taking you in.”

Aria said it with no expression.

There was no sway in the words.

Was what was there pride as a Discipline Committee member faithful to her duty, or merely righteous indignation.

”Hmph, who do you think you’re talking to? I am—”

From irritation Rigel dropped the polite speech.

He opened his mouth intending to reveal his status and merit and silence her, then immediately pulled the words back.

At the Royal Academy, prying into another person’s status was forbidden, and in the same way flaunting one’s own status was prohibited.

Also, the matter of the Valstine campaign was under information control by His Majesty Wistaria’s will.

He could not silence Aria by using status or merit.

Then what about violence relying on overwhelming combat ability?

That idea crossed Rigel’s mind.

If he beat Aria down on the spot, the talk would end there.

The justice she held, her honor, would become mere illusion before power.

But doing that here would be a loss in a broad sense.

Because the precious rape event that was the Academy Martial Arts Tournament would be ruined.

Rigel, who carried the cheat skill [Rape].

Someday as a lord he would rape the people of his domain, or while invading the Heidegger Federation and the Armad Holy Kingdom he would devote himself to rape.

Rape experiences on the stage of the academy could only be done now.

He wanted to avoid breaking that stage over a little irritation.

”You are what, exactly? Going to cry to your family?”

Aria’s provocative voice pulled Rigel back from the edge of thought.

”...”

He stayed silent.

Not worth answering.

No, if he spoke, he could not help feeling something would burst.

”It’s true that if a high-ranking noble house gets involved it becomes troublesome even for me as Discipline Committee chair… But your name will fall to the ground. You’re already scorned as ’lucky win’ and ’the lucky bastard of Class S first-year.’ Are you fine painting mud on your family as well?”

”Tch.”

Rigel clicked his tongue small.

Aria continued as if triumphant.

”If you understand, come along quietly.”

”…I refuse.”

”Ha?”

”I said I refuse.”

Rigel declared it flatly.

Aria’s eyebrow twitched.

”…Do you understand your position? Or… do you not understand unless you see some pain?”

There was a sharpness like a cold blade in Aria’s voice.

The air of the waiting room froze in an instant.

Her eyes were sharp like a hawk fixing on a target, and an unshakable color of will dwelled in them.

”You should know too, the third-round card is ’Rigel versus Aria.’ The third round is still in progress, and it’ll soon be our turn, you know?”

In contrast Rigel answered calmly with the strength out of his shoulders.

That attitude was provocation itself.

As if pretending not to notice the storm in front of him.
