”...Ah?”

A single beat of silence separated the two of them. What leaked from Rigel’s mouth was a vague sound that could be taken as either confusion or irritation.

”…What are you talking about?”

Rigel tried to put on a cool face, but agitation clearly seeped into his voice. Char’s eyes would not be fooled.

”Please don’t play dumb! You’re actually Rave von Gousel, son of the marquis house… aren’t you? You set something up and played both roles by yourself, didn’t you?”

The accusation had no mercy. Her eyes pierced the truth without a sliver of doubt.

”...”

Rigel fell silent. That did not mean defeat, but it was at least a time when something inside him definitely crumbled. Then a faint snort tore the air.

”Well, you’re about half right.”

The smile piled lewdness on top of his usual flippancy. The grin on his lips was vulgar, yet calculation peeked from behind it.

”Then it really is…”

”That’s right. I’m the legitimate son of the Gousel marquis house. Rigel von Gousel. Incidentally, Rave is just a fake name I made up on the spot.”

The confession was far too casual, almost disappointing. But Char, while surprised, closed her mouth with her eyes still wide, as if something had clicked somewhere. Several emotions crossed in that expression.

”Kuku. What’s wrong? So frustrated you can’t even speak?”

Rigel said. Having his identity exposed was unexpected, but it was not a serious problem. Rather, folding even an unexpected event like this into a pleasant rape was what led to a truly free rape life. What he needed to do now was shake Char’s emotions.

”Fufu… Do you remember? A lot happened these past few months. Studying together, visiting sightseeing spots… When you ran a fever I even cast recovery magic on you. We suffered together, laughed together in joy… We spent the same time.”

”...”

Rigel’s voice was calm and carried a somewhat nostalgic ring. Char stayed silent, only quietly looking down.

”Putting up with a dreamy girl’s company all that time, and ’enduring’ those long talks too…”

Rigel stopped his words there and brought his mouth close to Char’s ear.

”All of it was for today’s day, so I could do a ’reveal rape’ on you!!”

A sudden voice struck her ear. The air popped, and the temperature of the place changed all at once.

”…!!!”

Char’s eyes flew open, and her throat made a sound as if her breath had caught. Together with the heat that grazed her cheek, a torrent of words poured down one after another.

”Me, a hero of the Valstine campaign, smiling and bowing to a lowborn commoner brat… Do you get it? These days of endurance…”

Shouting that, Rigel grabbed Char’s hips and resumed the fierce piston. At the impact Char raised her voice involuntarily.

”Agu! Au!! Aaaah!!”

”How’s that!? This is my true nature! Cry! Scream! Despair!!”

Rigel assaulted Char even more fiercely. Her body reacted and jumped with a big jolt. And then—

”…Nn? What’s wrong?”

Char faintly bit her lip and, instead of words, looked down with her cheeks dyed crimson. Her shoulders trembled faintly, and tension seeped out from the surface of her skin. Rigel furrowed his brow at that strange silence and tilted his head, somehow puzzled.

”Are you escaping reality? That’s interesting in its own way, but if you don’t react more it’s borin—”

”I-I’m happy…”

At that single line, small yet certainly reaching him, Rigel’s words stopped in the back of his throat. As if gears had slipped with a noise, his expression turned blank in an instant.

”Ah? …Ha?”

A voice leaked out that could not keep up with understanding. He stared back at Char with eyes mixed with agitation and confusion, as if he had suddenly been bathed in light inside heavy fog.

But Char, pushed from behind by a torrent of feeling, spun words.

”I was anxious the whole time! Even though I care about you this much, Rigel-san, there was a me who ended up feeling it even in those acts with that noble…”

”O-oh.”

”But I never thought he was you too, Rigel-san! That you went to all this trouble for someone like me…!! I’m really happy…!!”

Overflowing tears ran down her cheeks. That light was beautiful, like crystals of emotion. Rigel wore a dazed look for a while… then immediately came back to himself and resumed the piston again.

”That’s not it, right!? The reaction you’re supposed to have here is ’N-no way… I believed you, this is too cruel’ or something, isn’t it!?”

”I don’t think that at all! That you would do this much for me, Rigel-san… I’m truly happy!”

”That’s why I’m saying it’s not that! Aaah, this is throwing me off!!”

Shouting that, Rigel stole Char’s lips. Then he ravaged her mouth with his tongue just like that.

”Nmu! Nnn!!”

Even when Char let out a pained sound, he kept kissing without care. Eventually she stopped resisting. She had realized there was no reason left anywhere to refuse.

”Puhaa…”

The long kiss ended, and Char’s and Rigel’s lips parted. A bridge of saliva formed and then immediately broke.

”…Nn? Hey, what’s with these legs.”

At the soft sensation wrapped around his back, Rigel felt something off and tilted his head. Tracing the source of the warmth, he saw Char’s both legs firmly coiled around his waist. Supple, yet with definite strength, they wound so he could not escape. His eyebrows jumped up involuntarily.

”Ah… I-I’m sorry! I just went and…”

Char apologized in a fluster, face bright red. Apparently she had wrapped her legs without noticing it herself. But that posture was far too symbolic. Unconscious or not, she had been seeking him with her whole body, as if sealing him inside herself. In the extremely intimate position of missionary, it could be taken as a kind of attachment. Commonly called a ”I love you hold.” Beyond affection, a manifestation of instinctive desire in a sense.

”Hmph. If you want my seed that badly, I’ll give you plenty. Ah, wait?”

Wearing a composed smile, Rigel declared it as if triumphant. But midway through the words he suddenly noticed something wrong. Deep at his hips, the thing that was his symbol was clearly losing its force.

”W-what’s wrong…?”

In an uneasy voice Char asked softly. Different from the embarrassment of a moment ago, there was a somewhat urgent ring in it.

”My rod is… going limp!”

Rigel shouted in a voice as if he had been betrayed by himself. That tone even included the sound of a man’s pride crumbling. Grief. That one word said it all.

”No way! I-is it my fault!? Because my body is scrawny…”

Tears started to run down her cheeks. Char pressed her chest as if blaming herself. Her small shoulders trembled.

”No, that’s not it! Flat chests have the goodness of flat chests! This is… a problem of situation and feeling!!”

”Situation and… feeling?”

”Yeah. I’m a rape demon. I like rape more than three meals a day. But right now I can’t rape. Do you know why!?”

Rigel’s voice was sharp as if cutting the air, yet somehow trembling. Passion pushed up his chest, and the moment the feelings he should have crushed flew out as words, a flush rose on his cheeks. As if his own heartbeat were bursting by his ears, his inside was filled with confusion and resolve.

Even while swallowed by Rigel’s intensity, Char wiped her tears softly with trembling fingertips, both eyes still wet. Her lips opened faintly, and though her voice caught in her throat, she somehow squeezed out a reply.

”U-um… I-I don’t know…”

”It’s simple. Because you have feelings for me! And I’ve ended up caring about you too!! This turns into consensual sex, doesn’t it!!”

”…!!”

Char’s face brightened all at once. Rigel gently hugged her body.
