The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 761: Chapter 297: The Awakening of the SPA Sisters (Request for Monthly Votes)_2

Seeing Yun Lan once again express this kind of thought, Yun Rou pondered for a moment. It was a good opportunity to give her a reminder, so she sat down next to Yun Lan and took her gentle little hand.

”Yun Rou?”

Yun Lan turned her head in confusion, only to hear Yun Rou say seriously:

”Xiao Lan, we actually are already happier than ninety percent of the working-class people in this world, right? Flying on private jets, staying in five-star hotels, eating Michelin-starred meals, receiving a five-figure salary every month, our income isn’t worse than before at the club, but it’s much more relaxed, and we’re more presentable outside...”

”I know all this, Yun Rou, why are you suddenly saying this?”

Yun Lan was a bit puzzled.

”Do you want to lose your current lifestyle? Want to go back to before, working 12-hour shifts, suffering the whims of customers, and only having three days off a month...”

”Of course not!”

Before Yun Rou could finish, Yun Lan shook her head vigorously, a hint of fear in her expression.

Although she hadn’t been in the job for long, she had already experienced the current lifestyle. How could she go back to the way it was before?

Even though most of the customers were female, it was well known that when it came to spending money, although girls were more generous than boys, they were also harder to please...

The previous income wasn’t low, but there was a lot more to endure. Compared to now, it was like night and day.

”Then you must understand that everything we have now is because of Mr. Zhou. In fact, if we can’t keep Mr. Zhou satisfied, maybe, even if you want to go back to your previous life, it might be impossible...”

”Yun Rou, I am doing that, but...I don’t quite understand.”

Yun Lan nodded in a dazed way, but couldn’t help expressing her confusion.

Seeing this, Yun Rou realized she might need to be more direct, so she straightened up, ”Let me put it this way, Yun Lan, you might need to...consider yourself as Mr. Zhou’s ’maid.’”

”Ah...maid?”

Yun Lan was taken aback.

”Actually, I don’t want to use that word either. It might make us seem a bit lowly, but...isn’t that the reality?” Yun Rou gave a self-deprecating smile, ”On the labor contract, we are ’massage therapists,’ ’Health Care Doctors,’ but what we do is actually no different from the maids of wealthy families in ancient times. The only difference might be that we still have the freedom to leave.”

”But clearly, neither you nor I want to give up our current lifestyle.”

”Then there’s only one path left...”

As Yun Lan looked over in a daze, Yun Rou took a deep breath and slowly said:

”That is to abandon our sense of shame, discard the so-called moral baseline, and use every possible means to please Mr. Zhou...at least, we only need to do this in front of him, right?”

”And those unnecessary little thoughts, you better not show them in front of Mr. Zhou. You can’t complain about boredom, even less so impose on him because Mr. Zhou is good-natured...”

”Like that nonchalant post on your friends’ circle, but you can’t forget your duty because of it, since once you make Mr. Zhou angry, your life will return to its original form, no, maybe even worse.”

This time Yun Lan finally understood, she opened her mouth slightly, but ultimately nodded obediently, ”Got it, I will listen to you...actually, I, I don’t dislike Mr. Zhou.”

Saying this, Yun Lan blushed slightly. At 19, she hadn’t interacted much with people her age, and Zhou Wang was indeed very outstanding among them. It was natural for her to be attracted.

Yun Rou didn’t find this strange, she had noticed it long ago.

Given her age, Yun Lan couldn’t fully grasp what Yun Rou was saying, but Yun Rou, seeing that Yun Lan had at least accepted part of it, comfortingly patted her head.

”You don’t have to completely agree with me, but just cooperate with me for now, okay...someday you’ll understand.”

”Yun Rou, why do you suddenly have these thoughts?”

Yun Lan blinked with curiosity again, ”I remember when we first went to Mr. Zhou’s house, you seemed more resistant than I did...”

Yun Lan indeed sensed a change in Yun Rou, a change that seemed to have begun recently, but she wasn’t sure whether it started from White City or after coming to Beidou.

”You must have seen how many outstanding women are around Mr. Zhou, right?”

Yun Rou was silent for a moment, then finally sighed and spoke.

”Mhm, mhm, before we only met Miss Jiang, I even thought Miss Jiang was Mr. Zhou’s girlfriend. Later on, I realized how naive I was...”

Yun Lan stuck out her tongue, ”That lady from the film crew, Miss Shen, and the famous star Xia Xiwei seem to have some ambiguity with Mr. Zhou too, and Sister Ying Tao...this time in Beidou, we also met Miss Ding and Miss Jiang...oh my, they’re all so beautiful, especially Miss Ding, she seems so polite and sweet, but I don’t dare look at her.”

When they first arrived in Beidou, as Zhou Wang slept in the bathtub, Yun Rou and Yun Lan met Ding Yi.

Yun Lan only had some vague impressions, but Yun Rou, who had served many wealthy women and ladies, immediately recognized the subtle arrogance and nobility in Ding Yi.

Even though she was so down-to-earth, Yun Rou could catch something else from the way she looked at them.

Among all the beautiful women around Zhou Wang, only Ding Yi gave Yun Rou an immense sense of pressure, more so than Jiang Qingkui did.
