The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 311: Chapter 169 Eight Million, Five Years, and a Wedding Dress_3

”Any issues?”

Zhou Wang, who had been resting his eyes, opened them and asked with surprise.

”The Wuyou Night” was set to start on the 17th, but Zhou Wang definitely couldn’t wait until the date to show up. First, he needed to go to Wuyou Media’s headquarters to complete the employment procedures, where a ”job package” awaited him.

Second, Zhou Wang lacked a relatively formal suit.

He had bought suits at LV before, but they were of the casual type, and such ready-made clothes didn’t quite meet the mark, at least not for an annual gala where Zhou Wang would appear as a shareholder. The level was a bit lacking...

And clashing outfits with an influencer would be so awkward...

Speaking of this, Zhou Wang felt a bit like complaining.

Employees like Jiang Qingkui and Xu Wenqian, thanks to the system’s intervention, already had presentable high-fashion suits. Although not entirely bespoke, they were tailored based on semi-finished products, which sufficed for most occasions.

In contrast, Zhou Wang, as the boss, still didn’t have a truly high-end formal outfit.

For this reason, Jiang Qingkui had specially contacted Brioni’s brand store in Hang City ahead of time, planning to expedite the crafting by paying extra to prepare a fitting suit for Zhou Wang.

Brioni, a luxury Italian menswear brand from Rome, held a high status in the bespoke tailoring industry, ranked among the top luxury menswear brands alongside Armani and Ermenegildo Zegna.

Even former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan and Hollywood stars who played 007 wore this brand.

Ming City simply didn’t have an equivalent level of tailor shops, so traveling to Hang City a few days in advance was necessary to resolve this issue.

Now, hearing Jiang Qingkui’s tone, it seemed that some part of the plan had gone awry.

”Today, the manager of Brioni’s Hang City store called to express apologies. Originally, they had contacted the brand’s senior tailor, Mr. Fabio, but due to a change in his schedule, he might not be able to come from Italy in time...”

”A change in schedule?” Zhou Wang frowned, ”I recall you telling me that the deposit had already been paid, right?”

”Yes, the deposit has been refunded.”

Jiang Qingkui nodded, reporting softly, ”The current proposal from Brioni’s manager is to first prepare a suit for you based on your basic data like height and weight that you can wear temporarily. As for the formal handcrafted attire, it will only be available when that tailor Fabio finds time to come to Huaxia...”

”Kind of funny.”

Zhou Wang raised an eyebrow, ”Is this Fabio that impressive, that I need to accommodate his schedule?”

”If you’re referring to his standing in the industry, it’s decent. I suspect the reason for his schedule change is to serve a client he deems more important...”

”Reasons don’t matter anymore, let’s just pass on Brioni.”

Zhou Wang shook his head, ”What’s the backup plan?”

He trusted that since Jiang Qingkui brought it up, there must be other solutions, so he asked directly.

”Lowering the requirements a bit, there are still plenty of options.”

Jiang Qingkui quickly replied, ”Fully handcrafted formal attire from top luxury brands, combined with scheduling and measurements, might be cutting it close. But if you opt for semi-finished product customization, most brands are willing to offer you the best service.”

”For instance, the person in charge of Hermes in the Ming City area mentioned that if you need, they could even arrange for a designer and a tailor to visit your place and provide a satisfactory solution for your outfit selection.”

The last sentence from Jiang Qingkui already indicated her preference, and Zhou Wang nodded in understanding.

”Alright, then contact Hermes.”

Just within the realm of men’s bespoke tailoring, Hermes was slightly inferior to Brioni. However, in terms of overall strength, Hermes was definitely superior, and a semi-customized Hermes wouldn’t lower Zhou Wang’s standards.

Hermes’s warm attitude towards Zhou Wang wasn’t unwarranted.

Initially, Zhou Wang was just an entry-level member at Hermes, mainly because he had previously bought a few sets of clothes and a bag, barely reaching the VIP threshold of one million per year.

The reason the Hermes sales assistant offered door-to-door service at that time was more about seeing Zhou Wang’s potential for spending.

His address already spoke volumes.

However, after the start of the third action round, the system aggressively intervened, with the dresses, bags, and workwear prepared for Jiang Qingkui and Xu Wenqian all being from Hermes.

As a result, Zhou Wang’s status at Hermes skyrocketed. The increasing rush orders from headquarters boosted his internal rating to the forefront of VIC.

The VIC spending threshold was ten million a year, and with the system’s influence, Zhou Wang’s status within the brand had long surpassed that.

By August, Zhou Wang had already received VIP invites for all the major events from Hermes for the rest of the year, covering fashion shows, internal review meetings, and VIC appreciation activities worldwide.

If time allowed, Zhou Wang was quite willing to attend those relatively private fashion shows.

But for now, Zhou Wang had no interest in focusing on this aspect.

”Okay.”

Jiang Qingkui noted it down, and with that, the issue was temporarily resolved. She then continued to ask, ”Is there anything else you need to instruct?”

”There is indeed one thing.”

Hearing that Zhou Wang really had something, Jiang Qingkui leaned forward, becoming focused instantly.
