The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 235: Chapter 146 Aike’s Time Gift Package_2

Zhou Dajun didn’t expose Zhou Wang because he knew his son’s intentions were good.

Besides, Zhao Guihua’s health wasn’t terrible, but she had plenty of little ailments. She always thought of saving money and never had serious treatments. Now that Zhou Wang was earning money, they should let loose and enjoy it...

Zhou Dajun was open-minded about this, and he understood even better than Zhao Guihua what it meant for Zhou Wang to have assets worth over a hundred million at just a little over twenty years old.

Spending hundreds of thousands a year, probably the basic interest alone could easily cover it...

”Alright then.”

Since Zhou Wang had said this, Zhao Guihua could only nod helplessly.

Once all the procedures were completed, the couple signed the handwritten agreement, and they would later supplement it with a medical report at a designated place for the insurance to take effect.

At this point, Jiang Jiaxing, who hadn’t said much, finally remarked with a sigh:

”Old Zhou, your son is really considerate. I heard that this medical plan allows the accompanying person to stay in a five-star hotel for free if treated elsewhere, isn’t that just like a vacation?”

”Dad, don’t be jealous!”

Jiang Qingkui heard the unusual tone in her father’s voice and smiled slightly: ”You have one, too; I bought it for you.”

”Who said I wanted it too, you child... Set this aside for now, don’t waste money like this again!”

Seeing Xia Xinling indeed pull out another contract, Jiang Jiaxing’s lips were harder to suppress than AK, but he still pretended to be unhappy.

As Jiang Jiaxing signed the agreement, Zhou Wang smiled at his parents and said, ”I bought one for Grandma too, so I’ll leave it to you to handle.”

There were many high-end medical insurances available; why did it have to be Bupa? It wasn’t just because they were the best; it’s also because most high-end medical insurances don’t cover individuals over sixty, but Bupa was an exception.

Under ninety-nine years old, Bupa accepted policies, which was almost like having no age limit.

Zhou Wang’s grandpa had already passed away, and the elder he was closer to was his grandma.

As for his paternal grandparents, due to some special reasons, it was best not mentioned. Besides, they were wealthier and lived far more comfortably than Zhou Wang’s parents.

After the insurance company people left, Zhou Wang sat back down and earnestly said to his parents, ”Mom and Dad, there are a few more things I want to get your opinions on.”

”Go ahead.”

Seeing how serious Zhou Wang was, Zhou Dajun and Zhao Guihua began to gradually accept the reality and were prepared for anything.

”The first thing is, are you satisfied with the place you’re living in now, or do you need me to buy you a new house?”

The house Zhou Wang lived in now was a standard three-bedroom, two-living-room apartment, about one hundred and twenty square meters. It wasn’t very large, but it was enough for two older people to live in.

The key issue wasn’t about how luxurious the house was, but Zhou Wang knew that the comfort standards for residences were different for his parents’ generation compared to younger people.

Although this was a new place they moved into later, time had passed, and his parents had lived there for almost ten years, getting used to many things, including the neighbors. Changing things all of a sudden might not be welcomed.

Sure enough, upon hearing Zhou Wang’s question, both Zhou Dajun and Zhao Guihua shook their heads repeatedly.

”Forget about a house. This place is pretty good, close to my work, and I have friends to play mahjong with. If you really get me a villa or something, I might not even get used to living there...”

Zhou Dajun declined with a laugh.

”Yeah, this house isn’t perfect, but your dad and I are used to it. It’s a bit empty for the two of us, no need for a new one!”

Zhao Guihua quickly echoed.

”Alright, I won’t buy a new house then, but there’s no problem with redesigning it, right?”

Zhou Wang smiled and turned to Jiang Qingkui: ”Sister Qingkui, bring up the designer.”

”Huh?”

Before Zhou Wang’s parents could react, Jiang Qingkui had already made the call.

”I found a designer from a home company. You two can discuss with him about your needs for a complete makeover of the house to make it more comfortable for you to live in. The furniture would also be appropriately replaced and added...”

Zhou Wang explained briefly, and before the older couple could refuse, the designer had already arrived.

But in truth, with Zhou Wang’s arrangement, the older couple really couldn’t refuse.

After all, it was a commercial apartment they had lived in for many years, with many unsatisfactory points that they could now improve to make the house more comfortable. They gradually got fully involved, and it ended up making the designer sweat.

Fortunately, Jiang Qingkui hired a top local company, and the designer was very skilled, noting down all the couple’s requirements before taking his leave to work on the plan.

According to the designer, the draft design and quote would be ready within two days.

”By the way, Mom, Dad, I’ve also contacted a local housekeeping company that will provide full-service cleaning regularly, so you can let go of the housework too.”

After seeing the designer off, Zhou Wang casually mentioned, ”I’ve already paid for a whole year, so no need to refuse.”

”You child...”

Upon hearing that he had already paid, Zhao Guihua could only give Zhou Wang a helpless look.

Actually, Zhou Wang had considered hiring a housekeeper, but thought his parents were still relatively young, so he dismissed the idea for now. Hiring someone might make them uncomfortable; better to address it in the future...
