The Wealthy Tycoon's Game of Life

Chapter 234: Chapter 146 Ake’s Time Gift Package

Knock, knock, knock!

Just at that moment, there was a gentle knock on the door.

Miao Ying, who was the closest, stood up to open the door, while Jiang Qingkui, who was holding her phone, came out from the balcony. Meeting Zhou Wang’s inquisitive gaze, Jiang Qingkui said, ”It should be someone from the insurance company; they just called me.”

The insurance company?

Zhou Dajun and Zhao Guihua were somewhat confused, and Jiang Jiaxing, who came out with Jiang Qingkui, looked equally curious.

Not sure what the father and daughter had been talking about, Jiang Jiaxing’s expression had returned to normal by now. He proactively asked a question:

”Zhou Wang, why did you call the insurance company?”

”You weren’t planning on buying insurance for your mom and me, were you?”

At this point, Zhou Dajun realized something and quickly waved his hand, saying, ”Your mom and I already have insurance; we don’t need this...”

”This is different from regular insurance, you’ll find out soon.”

Zhou Wang just smiled.

As the door opened, three insurance company staff dressed in black business attire, carrying briefcases—two men and a woman—walked in, and Jiang Qingkui greeted them warmly.

Introduced by Jiang Qingkui, the group came into the living room, where the leading, capable woman briskly stepped forward to shake hands with Zhou Wang.

”Mr. Zhou, hello, I’m Xia Xinling, the Senior Business Manager at Yongcheng Insurance, Employee ID 89757. It’s an honor to serve you.”

Meeting the woman’s bright smile, Zhou Wang was momentarily stunned.

Because the company’s name did not match the one Jiang Qingkui previously mentioned.

”Wasn’t it supposed to be Bao Bai, how come it’s...”

”Mr. Zhou, Yongcheng Insurance is the partner and underwriter for Bao Bai (Global) Healthcare Group in the Huaxia mainland. Rest assured, although we handle the business, the insurance you purchase belongs to the Bao Bai Group’s healthcare service...”

After Manager Xia’s explanation, Zhou Wang was enlightened.

Due to some restrictions, Bao Bai Healthcare Group couldn’t directly operate in mainland China. Even when accessing the Bao Bai Huaxia website, the transaction ultimately redirected to Yongcheng Insurance...

Although there was an additional transfer step, the services received would not differ.

”Just right, Manager Xia, please explain to my parents first; I’m buying this insurance for them as well.”

Zhou Wang invited everyone to sit down and then naturally handed over the explanation to Xia Xinling.

”Alright, Uncle, Auntie, let me first give you a brief introduction to the background of Bao Bai Medical Group...”

Xia Xinling smiled and sat down next to the still-puzzled Zhou Dajun and Zhao Guihua, enthusiastically explaining.

Although Zhou Wang was the one paying, since the decision was ultimately made by Jiang Qingkui and Xu Wenqian, he wasn’t too clear on the details himself, and listened with interest.

Bao Bai (BUPA) has over 70 years of history and is a global top-tier healthcare group.

Its status in high-end medical insurance is likened to Hermes in luxury goods, an undisputed leader in the high-end industry, known by some as the ”Rolls-Royce of medical insurance”... (Note 1)

So what specific services can you enjoy with the so-called high-end medical insurance?

Simply put, you can calmly enjoy the world’s best medical resources.

With an insurance card in hand, you effectively have the service of a top-level global medical professional team, receiving the most suitable and advanced treatment in case of illness or injury...

For high-net-worth individuals, high-end medical insurance is an indispensable part of life assurance.

Even for the middle class, when income is appropriate, many consider purchasing a reasonably priced high-end medical insurance product, as relying solely on basic medical insurance isn’t quite as reassuring...

”Uncle, Auntie, currently, Bao Bai offers five main products in high-end medical insurance, ranging from the entry-level ’Superior Hospitalization Medical Plan’ to the all-encompassing ’Supreme Medical Plan,’ including maternity, ophthalmology, dentistry, and more...”

Xia Xinling continued speaking enthusiastically, ”And what Mr. Zhou has chosen for you is the most high-end ’Supreme Medical Plan’ available.”

”This, uh, plan, Manager Xia... how much does it cost?”

Zhou Dajun and Zhao Guihua only half-understood what they were hearing, but they roughly grasped the gist.

The insurance Zhou Wang was purchasing for them meant they would never again have to worry about health issues for the rest of their lives, and they could even seek treatment abroad at any time if they were ill...

And it would cover everything from minor to major illnesses with no limit on the coverage amount, which sounded extraordinarily expensive!

That’s why Zhao Guihua couldn’t help but ask.

”Given your ages, if there haven’t been any major illnesses in the past seven years, the basic premium is about 300,000 yuan a year...”

”300,000 yuan a year?!”

Zhao Guihua felt a bit dizzy again.

Although she knew her son now had money, the idea that just one medical insurance plan for two people would cost 600,000 yuan per year—equal to Zhou Dajun’s total income over three to four years—was still a bit hard to accept.

”Mom, don’t say anything; I’ve already prepaid, so even if you disagree, I can’t get the money back. You might as well go ahead and sign...”

Zhou Wang saw the look Zhao Guihua gave him and immediately replied with a bit of cheekiness.

Of course, that wasn’t true; there was no such thing as paying before an agreement was reached. Zhou Dajun could see through it, but Zhao Guihua, with her relatively limited experience as a semi-rural woman, believed it...
