Necromancer: I Am A Disaster

The lightning elemental dungeon—one of the five legendary elemental dungeons.

Fire, water, wind, lightning, and light, of the five elemental dungeons, three were under the Dungeon Hall’s control. Only the light and lightning elemental dungeons remained unaccounted for.

Lin Moyu had previously stumbled upon the light elemental dungeon during his journey into the Abyssal World. Now, only the lightning dungeon was missing—until fate led him right its doorstep.

“Who would’ve thought the lightning elemental dungeon is in your possession?” Lin Moyu said with a faint smile.

Dongfang Yao replied, “Decades ago, one of our family’s seniors discovered it and brought it back.”

The tale of the five elemental dungeons, once dismissed as a mere legend, had proven true.

Dongfang Yao then asked, “Godly General Lin, is it possible for you to upgrade it?”

Lin Moyu replied calmly, “Each dungeon has unique requirements for upgrading. I can’t make any guarantees, but I’ll give it a try.”

Dongfang Yao nodded, “That’s all we can ask. We’ve had this dungeon for decades and cleared it thousands of times. Here’s all the information we’ve gathered.”

Lin Moyu took the documents, scanning them swiftly. The royal family had thoroughly analyzed every detail of the dungeon and tried countless methods to upgrade it, all to no avail.

Dongfang Yao decided to ask for Lin Moyu’s help after witnessing him effortlessly upgrade the water elemental dungeon in the Dungeon Hall and learning that he had also upgraded the fire and wind elemental dungeons.

After reviewing the information, Lin Moyu formulated a rough guess.

Dongfang Yao said earnestly, “Whatever conditions you have, just name them. If it’s within my power, I will certainly agree.”

Lin Moyu responded calmly, “My condition is simple: if I succeed in upgrading the dungeon, I want exclusive access to clear it a few times. Until I’m done, no one else may enter.”

It wasn’t an unreasonable request, though it was unusual. After all, class users typically didn’t interfere with each other during dungeon runs. So why was Lin Moyu so insistent on this?

Despite her curiosity, Dongfang Yao didn’t question him further. The condition was easy enough to meet.

Just as she was about to agree, a stern voice cut through the air, “Absolutely not! Our royal family’s dungeons aren’t for outsiders to dictate terms.”

Dongfang Yao’s expression darkened slightly, and she turned to see a handsome young man approaching.

He appeared about ten years her senior, dressed in luxurious clothing that exuded wealth and power. His distinguished demeanor was undercut by the arrogance in his tone.

Lin Moyu assessed him briefly. Though he couldn’t determine the man’s exact level, he estimated it to be around 45. Older than Dongfang Yao by a decade, yet only level 45...

The disparity in talent was obvious. This man was clearly far inferior to Dongfang Yao, both in ability and conduct.

“This is my second brother, Dongfang Shun.” Dongfang Yao introduced reluctantly, a slight frown on her face.

Lin Moyu immediately understood: a royal prince.

Dongfang Shun barely glanced at Lin Moyu before scoffing, “Who is this stray? Spouting nonsense in our royal family’s domain? Since when do we let shady characters like this dictate terms about our dungeons? Yao, why are you even entertaining such a person?”

Dongfang Yao’s face paled. These words weren’t just rude—they were a blatant insult to Lin Moyu.

A dangerous glint flickered in Lin Moyu’s eyes.

To call him a stray? Shady?

A Godly General must not be insulted.

Deep within Lin Moyu’s spirit world, the Domain Divine Stone began to spin, radiating strands of murderous aura that seeped into the air.

Dongfang Yao’s sharp senses caught the shift immediately. She realized the danger brewing.

Before she could react, a flame flared in Lin Moyu’s palm, its terrifying aura rolling out like a tidal wave.

“No!” Dongfang Yao shouted, but it was too late.

A flame descended, and Dongfang Shun let out a soul-wrenching scream.

He collapsed to the ground, clutching his head as he writhed in agony.

Lin Moyu had held back, using only a sliver of power from his Soul Blaze skill. Had he unleashed its full might, Dongfang Shun would already be dead.

In the past, Lin Moyu couldn’t finely adjust the intensity of his skills. But after going through the Shenxia Tower trial—twenty days and thousands of battles—his control had improved drastically. This newfound precision allowed him to inflict precise punishment without crossing the line.

Another flame fell, and Dongfang Shun’s screams echoed again.

The damage was minimal, but the pain was unbearable.

Dongfang Yao instinctively wanted to plead for mercy. However, when her eyes met Lin Moyu’s, she froze. A shiver ran down her spine.

Lin Moyu’s expression remained calm and indifferent, yet this calmness was unnerving—cold, devoid of any trace of emotion.

With a glance, Lin Moyu silently signaled Dongfang Yao to stay quiet.

The air grew thick with his murderous aura, and yet another flame flickered ominously in his palm. Dongfang Shun continued to writhe and scream.

Lin Moyu’s control was exact. He neither killed nor let his victim faint. This was torment—pure and deliberate.

Dongfang Yao hesitated, unsure how to intervene. She wasn’t close enough to Lin Moyu to stop him outright, nor did she feel confident enough to question his actions.

Besides, Lin Moyu wasn’t just any figure. As a godly general, his status rivaled that of God-level beings. For Dongfang Shun to insult someone of his caliber so brazenly was unforgivable.

The fact that Lin Moyu hadn’t killed him outright was already an act of restraint.

Realizing this, Dongfang Yao suppressed her instinct to interfere. Who told him to run his mouth? He deserves to suffer.

Dongfang Shun’s screams reverberated through the palace, finally drawing attention.

A team of palace guards rushed over immediately.

Their expressions darkened when they saw Dongfang Shun sprawled on the ground.

The leading Knight wasted no time. He drew his weapon and charged toward Lin Moyu without hesitation.

“Stop!” Dongfang Yao shouted, but her warning came too late.

Lin Moyu had already made his move.

Skill: Bone Fangs!

A blinding white light filled the area as Lin Moyu unleashed his level 40 Bone Fangs, amplified fiftyfold.

Two thousand razor-sharp Bone Fangs, each carrying terrifying piercing power, tore through the air like a storm of death.

Lin Moyu’s spirit attribute had quadrupled since reaching level 40, significantly enhancing his skills. Though Bone Fangs had only increased by one level, its power had tripled, turning it into a devastating force.

The Knight’s expression shifted from determination to panic. He felt an overwhelming sense of danger, as though death itself loomed before him.

This wasn’t just about his own survival—his teammates behind him were also at risk.

Skill: Group Defense!

The Knight instinctively activated his defensive skill, summoning an energy shield to protect himself and his team.

Even though he was a level 50 class user, he couldn’t fathom why a level 40 opponent would feel this overpowering.

Behind him, the support quickly cast status buffs to reinforce his shield, bolstering its resilience.

The Bone Fangs struck the energy shield relentlessly, the piercing attacks warping its surface. The Knight gritted his teeth, his muscles straining as he fought to hold the line.

But Lin Moyu wasn’t finished.

Another wave of Bone Fangs surged toward the Knight.

“Why are there so many?!” The Knight’s face turned pale as he desperately reinforced his energy shield.

Lin Moyu’s casting speed was relentless. Three waves of Bone Fangs per second—his current casting limit—rained down on his opponent like an unending storm.

The energy shield finally shattered under the assault. The Knight raised his own shield in desperation, his body glowing brightly as he activated Extreme Defense.

All of a sudden, the shield grew massive, glowing with radiant energy.

Skill: Shield Embiggining!

The colossal shield, reinforced by Extreme Defense, securely protected his teammates behind him.

At the same time, the two Mages standing in the back began casting their spells, targeting Lin Moyu.

Lin Moyu sneered disdainfully. Flames appeared in both his hands.

Skill: Soul Blaze!

Two flames struck the two Mages. Their screams echoed as their skills were interrupted mid-cast. These strikes were noticeably more powerful than the earlier ones. The Mages collapsed, unconscious.

Lin Moyu advanced two steps and pointed a finger at the Knight’s massive shield.

Skill: Bone Fangs!

Thump, thump, thump!

Within 0.8 seconds, Lin Moyu unleashed three consecutive waves of Bone Fangs.

This time, he concentrated every attack on a single point.

The Knight’s Extreme Defense shattered instantly. The impact sent the Knight hurtling backward with a scream. He slammed into the ground and lost consciousness.

The five-man team—comprising a Knight, two Mages, a support, and a Healer—was reduced to just the dazed support and Healer, standing frozen in shock.

The battle had ended almost as soon as it began. From the moment the guards arrived to their defeat, a mere three seconds had passed.

Dongfang Yao stood in stunned silence.

Was Lin Moyu’s combat prowess even human?

It wasn’t just devastatingly effective—it was seamless, fluid, and impossibly powerful.

When Lin Moyu turned, another flame flickered in his palm.

Dongfang Shun, who had just started to catch his breath, screamed once more as the flame struck.

Lin Moyu hadn’t forgotten about him. Lin Moyu never forgot grudges.

Dongfang Yao’s eyelids twitched, and she thought to herself that she must never offend Lin Moyu.

The commotion drew even more attention. Suddenly, a powerful aura swept over the area as a figure flew toward them through the air.

Flying through the air… this could only mean one thing: a top-level, level 70-plus, class user.
