9th Zone, B-City:

Matteo Family,

Jeremy then followed Mister Lucas. Mister Lucas led him to the guest room.

”This is your room. I’ll assign a guide to you later. He can take you around the city. And this is my contact save it,” Lucas said.

Hearing that Jeremy took his digital device out and saved his contact. Then he thanked him before watching him leave.

Jeremy feels thankful that he didn’t have any conflict with this person. But it doesn’t mean that he will let down his guard.

He will judge everyone based on their actions. He still remembered the advice given by Leader Gisela before coming here.

He understood that she didn’t have good experiences in her early days. She must have faced bad encounters in other top zones.

Shaking his head, he walked into the room and locked the door.

On the other hand, Lucas Rossi was quite interested in this young friend after hearing about his strength. He quickly went to see his father in the study room.

Matteo Rossi wasn’t surprised by his appearance.

”What did you see?” He asked.

”Father, this young man looked confident. He was not afraid of facing you and me. But he is just a Tier-2 Beast Tamer.”

”Is that his combat strength really high?” Lucas asked as he pulled out the chair and sat down.

A sharp glint appeared in the old man’s eyes.

”Yes, it’s true. His information is confirmed by the Human Alliance. When he was in Tier-1, he killed a Tier-3 Beast and created a record.”

”Later, his name was added to the genius list of the Human Alliance. But for some reason his name was not announced in the final list,” Matteo said in a serious tone.

”He made it to the genius list. Then what happened?” Lucas asked. He was right. The young man was not ordinary.

He is someone who made it to the Genius List. How can he be ordinary?

”I guess it’s related to his A-Grade Talent. The people in the Human Alliance pay attention to the S-Grade Talents.”

”This kid’s competitors might be S-Grade Talents. That’s why he missed out the opportunity,” Matteo added.

”Hiss, what bad luck?” Lucas replied.

”So pay attention to his request. Since I agree to watch over him. We don’t want any mishap to happen to him.”

”My friend’s organisation is different from before. He had another friend running the main branch in the 5th Zone.”

”We should befriend them,” Matteo patiently explained.

Lucas was not a fool. He could understand that the background of the young man was special as well. There are still four zones higher than the 5th Zone.

But for them 5th Zone is still a powerful zone.

”Don’t worry, father. I’ll take care of him,” Lucas replied.

”I’m not worried about you. I’m worried about other family members. Especially the descendants of other Elders. They naturally looked down on talent from other zones,” Matteo said.

”You are right, father. I’ll ask my men to watch over Jeremy Night. In case any problem occurs, I will intervene,” Lucas assured his father.

Time goes by,

The evening time comes, Jeremy is watching the outside view from the attached balcony. He is paying attention to the natural energy in this place.

Earlier, when he tried to practise the inner healing method. He himself became moody. At first he didn’t pay attention.

As the time passed, he became quite negative and grumpy. Unfortunately, with his Tier-2 Strength he could not find any difference in the natural energy.

So he stopped practicing. Ever since he stepped out of his home city, he has been coming across many strange things during his travels.

Now that city was added to the list. His gaze shifted to the sky. The sky looked darker in the daytime.

Now it looks creepy since the daylight has gone.

Knock!

There is a knock on the door. Hearing that Jeremy turned around. He doubted who could disturb him at this time.

Then he went to open the door.

Creak!

A person similar to his age was standing outside. He got the same blonder hair as well.

”Hi. My name is Nico Rossi. Cousin Lucas sent me here to help you. I heard you are a guest here. I can take you around the city,” Nico said with a smile.

He looked spirited. More than that he got the opportunity to impress his cousin. His family is related to Elder Matteo Rossi.

They are working under him. If he makes a good impression, then it will be good for his family and him.

Jeremy’s mouth curves into arc. In this moody place, he saw this bright person. He found it quite amusing.

”Okay. It’s nice to meet you Nico. My name is Jeremy Night. Let’s go, I want to explore the city,” Jeremy said.

Nico nodded his head. He didn’t expect the person to be nice as well. Then they immediately set off for the City journey.

About 10 minutes later,

A flying car left the gated community. The driver is driving the car. Both of them are seated in the back seats.

Nico is non-stop talking about the city. He is introducing famous places here.

Jeremy is listening and nodding to him. At the same time, he kept his eyes on the driver. The driver is an old man.

He can hear their conversation. So Jeremy is careful of not divulging any information.

Meanwhile,

Everything that happened at Matteo Rossi’s home was known to the Family Head of the Rossi Family.

The Head of Rossi Family lives in separate territory with their own guards and servants.

Unlike the old generation families. The Beast families here are quite different. All of them are not living in one territory.

Since the city faces threats from the Beast Invasion. All the powerful Beast Tamers and their families are spread around the city.

In case something happens, they can respond immediately. By doing it, they can save the lives of a lot of people here. It also assures the locals and businesses here.
