The following day,

Human Alliance HQ

The Human Alliance was discussing the changes in the wilderness. The discussion was happening between the members and the elders.

The members were all Tier-9 Beast Tamers. They were all strong Beast Tamers. Among them, there were both old and new ones.

But not all of them were here. Only the available members in the HQ were here right now. Most of them were doing missions in the unexplored region.

Now, the reports coming from the wilderness had forced them to discuss it.

”Does anyone know what’s causing the corrupted beasts living in the unexplored region to migrate to the wilderness?”

”It’s adding pressure to various cities. We were already lacking manpower.”

”If more and more corrupted beasts appear, then it would lead to serious consequences.”

An old man dressed in white cloth raised these questions. Others in the room heard them. No one had any clue.

”A team has already gone to the spot. We will soon find out. For the time being, we need to send additional support to these cities.”

”Some of them lack high-tier Beast Tamers,” an old woman wearing a combat uniform said.

These old people had the main say in everything. Because they had more experience.

It wasn’t new for the corrupted beasts to migrate to the wilderness from somewhere.

It had happened before. But there was always a solid reason behind it. For example, any natural disaster could easily wipe out the corrupted beast population.

Even their human cities had experienced such natural disasters. For example, the terrific rainfall.

So the old people were thinking the same thing was happening right now. The young people and middle-aged people in the meeting agreed with them.

The Elders had decided to wait for the investigation team to return. Only then could they learn the truth.

Like that, the meeting ended quickly.

---

City C (14th Zone)

After the Tier-6 Horned Lizard threat, there were no other corrupted beasts threatening the city.

Elder Derek and his team from City A had returned to their home after investigation.

Their city was safe right now. Even if there were future threats, the governors here could request help from City A again.

Both the City Governor of City A and the Central University would provide necessary help to them.

Because of this, life returned to normal in City C. But the locals weren’t aware of such things except for the City Patrol Guards.

City Governor Ron and the other two City Governors had assured the patrol guards. Only then did they resume their work normally.

---

City A (14th Zone)

The City Governor Elton and the two City Governors were keeping an eye on the situation.

They knew what had happened in City C.

From Harris, they learned that there were no threats outside City C. The Tier-6 Horned Lizard was the last threat.

This brought them huge relief. At the same time, they knew that threats could return at any time. So they had to make preparations.

They were going to allocate resources to Beast Tamers who were on the verge of breakthrough.

Once a large number of high-tier Beast Tamers were added to their side. Then they could handle any danger.

---

Central University 14

Dean Carolyn had been watching the developments as well. She was aware that Jeremy Night had returned to the 10th Zone.

City C was not facing any threats anymore. But the changes in the wilderness were true.

With the help of City Governor Elton, they were also making necessary preparations to face this kind of threat.

At the same time, Jeremy Night’s friends Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone were practicing hard. They knew what happened through Instructor Jacob.

Instructor Jacob told them that an unknown threat was approaching the human populace. So they were training hard to improve themselves.

Meanwhile,

The Beast Taming Families and other forces knew something was going on. From the City Governors, they were reminded.

These families had suffered during the Beast Invasion. If another one appeared, then they might lose everything.

So these Beast Taming Families were making necessary preparations for that. This included the Lindsey and Scott Families.

May Lindsey and Victor Scott were working hard to become strong Beast Tamers. These terrifying news reports, one after another, made their resolve strong.

City C (10th Zone):

Blue Parrot Hotel

Harold had joined his team successfully and completed his first day of work. Next, he wanted to do the main task. He was going to eliminate the target.

For that, he needed to go to the human settlement. He was planning to get away from the city patrol team today.

But Harold didn’t know that the target was staying in the same hotel as him. If he found out, then he would be shocked.

Shortly afterward,

He left for work.

On the other hand, Jeremy Night was getting ready as well. But he knew he was going to do solo work today.

But before that, he had important work to do. He needed to find John to unlock the digital device. He then called him.

John attended the call. Then Jeremy Night made his request. But he didn’t reveal anything about yesterday’s incident.

John understood that Jeremy needed a person to unlock his digital device. John told him that he would come pick up Jeremy Night now.

It didn’t take long for John to appear in front of the hotel. After learning that, Jeremy Night came downstairs to meet him.

Upon seeing John, he entered his car. From there, they started going towards the service center.

Back in the seat, Jeremy Night was worrying. He thought the service center people might recognize the digital device. There could be friends of the criminal gang there.

Then he told John that he needed someone who could teach him how to unlock the digital device when the passcode was lost.

John was dumbfounded. Then he assumed for himself that Jeremy was from the Shadow Moon Organization. So he needed privacy.

”Okay. I’ll take you to my friend,” John said.

Hearing that, Jeremy sighed inwardly and thanked him

John reached his friend’s house a few minutes later. He parked the car inside. Jeremy stepped out of the car, followed by John.

”Let’s go inside,” John uttered.

Then Jeremy quietly followed him to the main door. The rightful source is NoveI★Fire.net

John informed his friend, who quickly arrived to open the door.

Creak!

The next second, Jeremy spotted a bearded middle-aged man.

”Tommy, thanks for agreeing to help,” John said.

Tommy smiled and greeted them inside. During the drive earlier, John had told him everything.

Tommy’s gaze fell on the young man. He was shocked to know that the young man was from the Shadow Moon Organisation.

He was shocked to the core. He had heard about the terrifying organisation. During his tour to City A, he had seen people from the organisation.

He collected his thoughts and quickly went for a handshake.

”Hi, my name is Tommy,” he said.

Jeremy smiled and responded with a handshake.

Jeremy then said, ”Thanks for agreeing to help.”

”Ha... Ha... Ha...”

”Don’t mention it. I’m happy to help someone from the Shadow Moon Organisation,” Tommy said.

Hearing that, Jeremy’s heart stirred. He didn’t expect the Shadow Moon Organisation to have such a good reputation.

Everyone had respect for the organisation.

Tommy then recovered from the surprise.

He then said, ”Let’s start the work. What kind of device do you want to unlock?”

”It’s a communication device,” Jeremy replied.

”You guys can start the work. I have a job to do. I’ll come later.” After saying that, John left.

Tommy then led Jeremy to his workroom to teach him. They came to a wide, spacious room. Inside the room, the light was bright blue. It illuminated the entire room.

Jeremy’s eyes fell on the automated device. He felt like he had entered some kind of latest tech shop.

Tommy saw the reaction of Jeremy Night. He then went to the main chair and sat on it. Then he pulled another chair from behind for Jeremy Night to sit.

Seeing that, Jeremy Night sat on it and began to watch him working. Tommy picked a spare communication device and started to teach him how to unlock the device without a passcode.

Sunset Human Settlement:

Incharge Otto was in his office. He had left early yesterday.

So he couldn’t meet the young man. Today, he heard from the bystanders that a young man came to meet him last night.

He was thinking that the young man might come today to meet him before doing the patrolling work.

On the other hand, the 10 Teams had started their work. From the beginning to the end, they didn’t meet the young man nor the incharge.

But they had conveyed their message to the incharge, that they were not going to meet and greet the Beast Tamer from City A.

So they didn’t know whether the newcomer was here or not. As time passed, Incharge Otto assumed that the young man wouldn’t come.

He might have already started his patrolling work.

---

Meanwhile,

The black-clothed thugs had lost their member yesterday. They didn’t know whether their member Bob was alive or not.

They had tried to contact him many times. But the connection was not established. If they wanted to track his location, then it might take a longer time.
