Wilderness:

Boom!

The Spider Lord continues to suffer from injuries. It didn’t expect such a powerful human beast tamer to appear at the last moment.

The spider lord knows the existence of such beast tamers. They were responsible for a small city built in their territory.

It’s just the powerful beast tamers left after establishing the city. They won’t appear unless there is a crisis.

The spider lord realises that the human prey has reported its existence. Now they have come here to rescue them.

”Where are you going?”

”I’m not going to let you go,” Afonso shouted in a loud tone.

He realises that they are getting closer to the core area. The spider lord is dragging them to the core area.

So he decisively commanded his lifeline beast to retreat. The big leopard then stopped charging forward.

Swoosh!

The leopard then returns to the side of Afonso.

Both parties are now staring at each other.

Meanwhile,

Marcos was fighting against one of the Ant beast queens. He had tried to help Lord Afonso, but his help was not needed at all.

Enzo, Leonor, Head Neil and a few others chase after the other Ant beast Queen.

…

City A:

Gisela’s shout has caused everyone to exit the building. In the blink of an eye, everyone returned to the outside.

Then they were turning towards the sky.

Jeremy Night was with Sinag and others. He is looking at the sky as well. They are hoping that Leader Gisela’s words are false.

Not long after, everyone saw the black clouds approaching the city again. But compared to the previous size of the black clouds.

The size of the current black clouds was small. But the danger has not decreased yet.

”Get ready to fight,” Gisela ordered.

Hearing that Jeremy Night takes out his katana blade to fight. Sinag and others summoned their Lifeline beasts.

At the same time, Jeremy found out that some of their eyes were on him as well. At first, he was confused, but upon seeing their Lifeline beast.

He understood immediately. He forgot that he can’t bring out this lifeline beast egg outside for the fight.

Fortunately, not many were paying attention to this matter. Right now, everyone has the most important task at hand.

Swoosh!

One after another the black clouds entered the city. The commanders and the team leaders standing on top of the walls tried to stop them.

Yet some of them went past them. Upon reaching the middle of the city, the black clouds dispersed.

The flying ants appeared in large numbers. Among them, Tier-5 and Tier-6 Corrupted Beasts were present in large numbers.

There were Tier-7 Flying Ants as well. But their numbers were low.

Swoosh!

They immediately spread in different directions to attack the humans.

A part of the flying ants is coming towards the Shadow Moon Organisation as well. Upon seeing that everyone was ready to fight.

The Team Leader who Tier-7 Beast Tamers acted first. They went to confront the Tier-6 and Tier-7 Flying Ants.

The Tier-5 and the low Tier Flying Ants started coming out in large numbers.

Jeremy Night is watching the coming of the beast.

He didn’t expect to see this many Tier-5 and Tier-6 Flying Ants. He started to think the wilderness was safe compared to the city.

Swoosh!

He then collected his thoughts and was ready to confront the beast. He covered his katana blade edge with starlight liquid.

Earlier, he used to cover the whole blade with the starlight power. To minimise the consumption, he coated the blade edge this time.

Swoosh!

A Tier-4 Flying Ant got closer to him first. He was about to cut his hand using wing blades. Jeremy was not afraid.

Puchak!

A katana blade penetrates Ant’s thorax before severing it. The upper half of the body was separated from the lower body.

The Tier-4 Flying Ant ended its life just like that.

Swoosh!

Jeremy didn’t stop it right there. He continues to swing his blade at the incoming flying ants. They were all Tier-3 and Tier-4.

Pfff!

His blade dances in the air before cutting down the flying ants one by one. Their body parts were splattered on the ground.

At the same time, the 2nd and 3rd Squad members were focusing on the Tier-4 and Tier-5 Flying Ants.

The Elders were dealing with the Tier-6 Flying Ants. The rest of them were dealing with the low-tier flying ants.

Sinag and Ada are fighting against the flying ants with the help of their lifeline beasts. They were busy.

None of them had time to take a look at others. Everyone was swarmed by the flying ants. But some people are different.

For example, Fredick saw what others were doing while fighting against the Tier-3 Flying Ant. He is dealing with one.

But when his gaze wandered around, he found out everyone was dealing with more than one beast. Which forced him to rethink.

Just then his gaze fell on Jeremy Night. He was shocked to the core. So much so he forgot about the flying ant.

Pfff!

The flying ant struck his back. He was sent back flying before crashing onto the ground.

AaahhhHHh!

A muffled grunt left his mouth. But he couldn’t forget the scene that he saw. Jeremy Night is cutting down the flying ants like weeds.

Scream!

A human-sized red-haired monkey rushes to his side. It was his lifeline beast, the Red Haired Monkey. Upon seeing that Fredric was injured.

The Red Haired Monkey charges towards the Tier-3 Flying Ant. This gave time for Fredric to recover his thoughts and to get up.

Not only has Fredric seen that scene. Others have seen it as well. Albert, George and Cedric but they accepted the fact quickly.

Albert knew that Jeremy Night had the record of slaying a Tier-4 Corrupted beast before. That’s why he was recruited by Leader Gisela in the first place.

So he was convinced. Just that scene of Jeremy Night eliminating the group of beasts has sent chills down his spine. That too without the help of a lifeline beast.
