STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer

Wilderness (Outer area):

As time passed, Jeremy got closer to the destination. It didn’t take long for him to reach the first spot before noon.

Jeremy then takes out the digital device to confirm that location. He sees that things are mentioned in that description.

It exactly matches the current spot. He knows the exact distance travelled so far. It also matches the mentioned distance.

After confirming it, he placed the digital device back in the storage ring. He then sweeps his gaze across the place.

The current place is filled with overgrown bushes and trees. Jeremy then takes out the black container given to him by Leader Gisela.

He then removed the cover and saw the oval-shaped devices inside the container. The oval-shaped devices were palm-sized.

Jeremy picked the silver oval device. His eyes flash with surprise. It’s new explosive devices told by Leader Gisela.

He sees the explosive devices in amazement. Then he acts according to the instructions. He digs up the ground.

After removing the soil, he placed the silver oval device inside. Then he covers the top with the soil. He doesn’t have a clue how the device is going to activate.

Then he looked around and started going towards the next direction.

As the time passes, evening is getting closer. For the first time, Jeremy Night found something interesting.

He is now deep inside the outer part of the wilderness. Yet he saw no other corrupted beasts apart from the corrupted beasts that he had killed earlier.

Suddenly, a look of realisation dawned on him.

He thinks that because of the flying ant beasts. No other corrupted beasts live here. They must have vacated the place.

This gave him a rare chance to finish the task closely. He was worried for nothing. If there are no corrupted beasts here, he can complete the task sooner.

After gaining some clarity, he started walking better.

Time passed,

In the evening, he arrived at the narrow creek. His eyes wander around the narrow creek. After learning that there aren’t any corrupted beasts here.

He takes out the digital device to confirm the location. The second site mentioned was the narrow creek. According to the mission description, he reads the other clues.

Which matches the descriptions as well. He then does the process again. He digs up the land. After digging up, he places the silver oval-shaped object inside.

He then covers the dig with soil. Once he is done with the process. He left the place. He needs to find eight other places to complete the task.

Meanwhile,

The other genius beast tamers are doing fine. But they were quite faster than Jeremy Night. They got the help of their lifeline beasts.

They have planted at least four oval devices so far. At the same time, Audrey Reed is faster in her work as well. She has planted more than four explosive devices.

Like others, she is having immense fear as well. She doesn’t want to come across the flying ant beasts. Her father had informed her to start planting the explosives at the sites close to the inner part of the wilderness.

She has completed the task at those sites. She is now going towards other sites.

...

Wilderness (Inner area):

The Flying Ant beasts, which were already gathered in large numbers, started to have more members added to their army.

The numbers have crossed 50,000. The 50,000 Corrupted beasts are comparable to the 50,000 Beast Tamers. But their strength varies.

In each tier, the number of Corrupted flying ants was high compared to the Beast Tamers. So that can easily put pressure on all the Beast Tamers living in the city.

Even with the help of the lifeline beasts, the beast tamers of the city would find it hard to block the beast invasion.

Right now, their numbers are larger than in the previous attack. The city administration officials are clueless about it.

As time passes, eventually the evening passes and the nighttime comes. The flying ant beasts’ army, which has completely taken over a quite large area, receives instructions from the flying ant queen.

Buzz!

The next moment, the flying ant beasts begin flapping their wings. They appeared in midair. In the blink of an eye, the entire army appears in the sky.

From a distance, it has taken on the shape of the black clouds. If it were daytime, their shape would become clear to others.

Slowly, the front line of the beast army moves. They have entered the outer area of the wilderness. They have started advancing to the city.

The City administration didn’t have a clue that the Beast Invasion had started. They are still clueless. But they had Tier-8 Beast Tamers stationed near the city gate.

Their Tier-8 Lifeline beasts can spot the threats coming from the outer part of the wilderness. So the city Administration officials got a window of time to prepare.

....

Meanwhile,

Jeremy Night has completed the task in 5 sites. There are still five more to go. But at night, he is not taking any chances.

So he is still using his eyes to monitor the situation. Who knows? He could come across the Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts.

Last time, he had that experience. It was with great difficulty. He was able to escape last time.

A few minutes later,

He hears a low buzzing sound. At first, he thought he had heard it wrong and continued with the walk.

As time passes, the buzzing sound increases. This time, I knew something was up. I paused my footsteps and continued to look around.

Buzz!

The buzzing sound continues to increase.

”Where is this sound coming from?” Jeremy Night asked himself.

He then continues to hear. As time passes, the sound is getting closer and increases as well.

Then he suddenly saw something moving in the sky. But in the night sky, the moving thing appears to be black as well.

Jeremy Night felt a sudden sense of crisis. He had never felt this level of crisis before. His senses were screaming at him to escape. He doesn’t know what to do.
