From MC’s Perspective:

Wilderness,

A few seconds later,

Reef is taking smaller steps. He is not in a hurry at all. He wanted to see the panic on the face of the newcomer.

He hadn’t expected the opportunity to come for him to slay a talented Beast Tamer.

”It’s a pity. But I can’t let you live,” Reef said.

Hearing that Jeremy simply smiled. He never expected this day would come sooner. He had thought that they would cross paths someday, but not today.

Both of us are standing face to face against each other.

Reef thought the newcomer was frozen in fear. He raises his hand to punch forward. He is aiming for the good and young face of the kid.

Cut!

At the same time, Jeremy quickly unsheathes his katana blade and swings it casually.

Puchak!

Reef only felt something flash before him. The blade slits his throat in a fraction second. A torrent of blood emerges forth the next moment.

Reef touched his neck with disbelief. His face was written with horror. He wanted to say something. But he fell to the ground the next moment.

His body is lying in a pool of his own blood.

Gulp!

The Sun Wheel Organisation Beast Tamers gulped their saliva in fear and shock. Their team member was slain before their eyes. But they stood watching it.

”Reef,” Rodie uttered in disbelief.

He hadn’t expected his team member to die before his eyes.

Swoosh!

He looks at the Tier-2 Beast Tamer. He got angry. The next second, he summons his lifeline beast.

A Tier-5 Red Salamander appears in front of him. It’s the same salamander which had appeared before them earlier.

”Impossible,” Jeremy uttered.

Sinag and Ada were in disbelief as well.

Seeing the trio’s reaction. A satisfied grin appears on the face of Rodie.

Now, the trio can confirm that it was them all along. The Tier-5 Salamander was the lifeline beast of Rodie.

Sinag and Ada knew about the Sun Wheel Organisation’s Beast Tamers. They had especially heard about the 3rd Squad Team.

They had read intel that 3rd Squad Captain has a Salamander type lifeline beast. But it’s the first time both of them are facing it right now.

But they never expected it was a Tier-5 Lifeline beast.

Then Sinag seemed to recall something. It was rare for a Beast Tamer to have a lifeline beast above the Beast Tamer’s Tier. But it was not an impossible thing.

”Jeremy, sometimes Beast Tamer’s Talent can allow them to bond with the higher tier beast,” She said to Jeremy.

A look of understanding dawned on Jeremy’s face.

Ada too realises that. Her face was relaxed a lot. She didn’t know what was going on for a second.

”You guys were too late to figure it out. Yes, my A- Grade Talent has allowed me to have a higher tier lifeline beast,” Rodie said with immense anger.

He was regretting a little. He should have brought his Lifeline beast earlier.

Now he has lost one of his members. Then he orders his Lifeline beast to task the head of the newcomer.

Rosie’s words woke up Jeremy Night. He had never expected to see such a talent in Beast Tamer.

”You guys take care of others. I’ll deal with the Red Salamander,” Jeremy said to Sinag and Ada.

Swoosh!

The Red Salamander darted out to attack the target.

Sinag and Ada retreated backwards. They can deal with the rest of them. They were confident. They couldn’t help Jeremy earlier. Now they have decided to do it.

Sinag recalls that Jeremy had given explosive device. She can use desperate moments to save themselves.

Ada is aware of this as well. So she moved backwards along with Ada.

Swoosh!

Seeing that Tier-5 Salamander is after him. He retreats backward to create space for their fight.

Rodie smirked. He thinks that newcomer is going to die at the hands of his Lifeline beast.

So he ignored and started paying attention to the female beast tamers. Upon seeing them, his eyes flashed with a lust.

He thought it would be a waste to kill them and dispose of their corpses. He wanted to enjoy it before doing that.

He then turned towards the 8 Beast Tamers behind him.

”You guys chase the two of them down. Don’t kill them. Just capture them and tie their hands,” Rodie said to them.

The Beast Tamers understood what’s going on. But they don’t want to disobey their Captain’s words. In one way, the Tier-5 Salamander had also scared them.

Swoosh!

The next second, the eight of them rushed out towards the female beast tamers.

Rodie stays behind. Because his lifeline beast was about to kill the Tier-2 Beast Tamer. He plans to follow them after killing the newcomer.

Red Salamander got closer to the target. At the same time, Jeremy sees that others have left. Only their leader has stayed behind.

”Is he dumb?” Jeremy thought.

Because one of the ways to kill the lifeline beast was to kill its Beast Tamer. If it was a Tier-5 Corrupted Beast, he would have been afraid.

But not the Tier -5 lifeline beast. What more? This moron didn’t leave using the opportunity. Instead he stayed behind to watch the fun.

Swoosh!

Just as the Red Salamander’s poisonous tongue about to hit him. He moved away from the spot.

Boom!

The tonguer struck the empty ground with a great force. The dust rose from the ground the next moment. The strike left behind a small pit.

Jeremy retreated backwards. His eyes flashed with fear. Because he was not wearing the armour suit right now. So the tongue attack would have torn his body apart.

”Ha...Ha...Ha..., You can’t escape,” Rodie said with a laugh.

Jeremy’s eyes flickered. Obviously, his target was Rodie. If he kills Rodie then the Red Salamander would eventually die.

But Rodie didn’t have any idea about this. He has immense confidence in his Tier-5 Lifeline Beast.

Just one hit from the Red Salamander would be enough. The newcomer would be dead.
