COTE: A Man On A Mission || Love is War?

“.....” Ryuen who still didn’t have words after such a huge fraud was done.

11 Million.... Forehead? Where did he go wrong? No point in regretting anymore.

Ryuen looked a little unhappy outside, but he tried to maintain his grin, “Although I did lose to Hikigaya and failed to trick Horikita Suzune. Only,  your Class B is bound to lose this time!”

Yes, B is doomed to lose.

Ryuen has such confidence.

’Although I failed to report Horikita to the Student council. But she was already injured and lost the ability to continue game!’

Ace of Class B.

Sudo was also pissed off by him and ran away. As for the monster Koenji he also took money and did not participate.

So even though lost points, Class B didn’t get any benefit either.

“It’s better to say that although my loss was huge. I have Class B buried with us! And I also understand that Hikigaya is the kind of person who only cares about points and doesn’t care about the class!”

This sentence actually earned Ryuen a lot of points.

A big reason why Ryuen compromised was to protect the students in his class.

The fact that Hachiman had stuck a recorder on flagpole of the pole-topping competition has been exposed.

Once reported, you may not be expelled, but there is a high possibility that your results in this sports festival will be cancelled.

Then... participating students will definitely occupy the bottom 10 places, and then 10 points will be deducted in all subjects in next written exam.

’And since we are all poor students, bound to fail! Will be expelled from school’

So, at first, everyone was very angry about Ryuen losing again, but now some students have become incredibly quiet.

”Ryuen, you failed this time, last time, and the time before!”

“So can you resign as leader?!”

“You’re leading our class to destruction!”

There are still voices of opposition.

This was the troublemaker who had appeared when Ryuen was busy organizing the class.

His name is Tokito.

During preferential treatment exam, Hikigaya Hachiman was able to know identity of VIP in their class.

Ryuen thought there might be a spy in his class.

’After a thorough investigation, it was discovered that Hikigaya had contacted Tokito...However, no content that could have leaked information to Hikigaya was found onTokito’s phone. So he can only be labeled a traitor? Now, are you still against me?’

“Hikigaya was able to react so much this time. A big reason for this is that I trusted you fucks too much! Someone leaked our class’s plan!”

“Hey, don’t blame my friends Ryuen!”

“Shut up asshole, you are not even in my class!” Ryuen didn’t like when a guy with no face tried to make heavy arguments of protest.

“???” Random Npc.

“That can’t be helped...”

“You shouldn’t have opened your mouth....”

“Let Tokito run his balls....”

“Ryuen, your plan will definitely bring disaster to the class!”

’Damn it. So you’re really the class spy?’ Ryuen instantly stared at this traitor with vicious eyes.

Tokito’s ability was at best average in the class. Although his academic ability was shit, he shouldn’t fail.

But this kind of guy is annoying.

“Anyway, I am against Ryuen’s attempt to coerce everyone. You don’t even let my other friends speak!”

“.... fufufu.” Takumi Oda who just got reprimanded by his class leader.

“Don’t laugh, he will kill you Oda....”

“Ryuen, you should abdicate!”

’Abdicate? Do you see other people performing well?’

“And what about you, the spy?! Why did you reveal our class’s information to Hikigaya Hachiman?” Ryuen walked directly towardsTokito, bringing a strong pressure from the former tyrant.

“This…” Child was speechless for a moment.

“Tell me what you want, bastard? What conditions did Hikigaya offer you that would make you betray the class?”

“T-That was not betrayal, I swear!”

”Tsk....Stop talking about this useless stuff. How much money did Hikigaya give you?!”

“Don’t yell at my-----”

Crack! Knuckles!

Punch!

“Ryuen!”

“Aaahhhh!! Oda, you complete idiot. I warned you!”

“Shit, 500,000 alright.....”

’What an idiot.’ Ryuen was convinced.

For the sake of 500,000, this B made the class value more than 30 million.

No, adding his debts, it resulted in a loss of nearly 40 million.

”Shiina....” Ryuen looked in another direction, “Now that all our plans have been seen through, there is no point in you continuing to pretend to be injured. Just participate in next competition!”

Overall physical fitness of the students in Ryuen’s class is better than that of Hachiman’s, and is not inferior to Ichinose.

But there are very few who are absolutely top-notch.

Only Albert is a power-type student.

Maybe the monster of Koenji can be compared to him, but there are not so many in the same grade.

So Albert can be arranged to get the points.

The girls’ points cannot be lost either.

Kinoshita has been sent away due to physical injury, but Shiina’s speed is not slow either, her strength can also come in handy.

”Got it....” Hiyori nodded simply. But she didn’t completely focus her mind here, she was always thinking.

’Originally, because of Hikigaya-kun, my trust in the class had already declined, and even felt that it would not be able to break through and be promoted to Class A even under Ryuen-kun’s leadership.Nearly four months into the school year, the class evaluation scores were in jeopardy, and even Ryuen-kun was in debt.In other words, as a member of the group, do I have no living expenses for the future?’

This kind of hard life...some people don’t want to experience it.

A little consideration.

“Ryuen-kun....Since class is in a difficult situation right now. Then why don’t you apply for a subsidy from our partner Class A?”

“Oh, do you mind?” Ryuen looked over with big eyes, he could take anything at the current delivery.

“....” Hiyori. “...Now our class is being held back by Hikigaya-kun because we cannot be reported for violations. If we got, will be ranked last and not be able to take the next written exam....But there is one class that cannot bear to see us suffer such a tragic outcome....There were 20 boys who participated in the pole-turning competition. If these 20 boys violated the rules and beat Sudo-kun and were reported, first of all, we would definitely not be able to bear the consequences, so we compromised with Hikigaya-kun....And once the report is successful, scores of all 20 boys will be reset to zero....This will be a huge blow to the Red Team!”

Ryuen’s brows twitched.

This is a good solution.

Ryuen still owes Hikigaya 8 million.

He spent 1 million of Sakayanagi’s 3 million as compensation for Kinoshita’s injury, so his total debt is now 11 million.

One million of this was the amount that Hashimoto betrayed Katsuragi during the island exam.

Still owed.

The scores of 20 boys in his class, including him, were reset to zero and by the end of the exam, they had at least 700 or 800 points.

And maybe even 1,000 points.

It is enough to affect the outcome of red-white confrontation.

”Anyway,” Ryuen finally said to his distressed looking people, “Continue to take exam. Since we have paid such a huge price this time, no reason to end it halfway! And boys, just like Shiina said, in the next recommended items, do your best to get points for me! The higher the score you get, the more likely it is that you will be saved!”

But when Ryuen pointed at Oda’s friend just now, he frowned on being publicized.

“But Ryuen, you have made leadership mistakes several times...”

”Shut up, you creep or do you also want to get punched?!”

That made Oda’s friend shut his whole.

“Yeah, that’s what I thought. Anyway,

if class evaluation score goes back to 0 again, I will abdicate. Before that, you must atone for your sins!”

It is very annoying to have a traitor in a class.

Unless he immediately offers an exam that can cause the other party to drop out of school, he has no choice but to convince people.

At that time, Ryuen had defeated the other party a long time ago, but he is still dissatisfied until now.

It’s obvious that scar has healed and the pain has been forgotten.

It seems that his methods before were too gentle.

After all, he had failed several times, so Ryuen also issued a military order.

Anyway, according to the current development, worst case is +200-200=0

Then class evaluation score will not change and will still be 145 points.

’So, I won’t lose.’

And judging from the current scores of each class, their Class D’s is not low either.

There are still four games in the afternoon, and the advantage is still on them!

xxxxx

And the other side.

Class A, Grade 1.

“The scores of 4 classes are now as follows....”

In Class A’s tent, Katsuragi was fiddling with a small blackboard.

Although it was a competition that everyone was required to participate in, Katsuragi still arranged the students to record scores of the four classes in an orderly manner.

“Our class has an advantage, although it’s not very big, but if we maintain it, then we still have a chance of getting first place this time...Especially now that Sudo from Class B seems to have completely given up....”

Sudo is a cheater. Katsuragi tried to arrange Hashimoto, an athlete from Class A, to compete in the 110-meter hurdles with Sudo, but he was no match for him.

Therefore, if a cheat like Sudo automatically leaves the game, then Class A still has a chance.

Hikigaya Hachiman’s plan to score points in the mixed three-legged race between men and women will also fail.

So Class A has a great chance of winning.

The 1 million yen that was used to bribe Koenji was really worth it.

“There’s not much point in keeping statistics like this....” Sakayanagi is also in the big camp, but seems to be checking the photos she took.

’I frowned when I saw a photo, and then above conversation took place.....’

”Why?” Katsuragi was getting confused.

“During the pole-turning competition, something went wrong,” Sakayanagi tried to be a little helpful or give some bad news to decrease Katsuragi’s good mood.

“Ryuen-kun’s class showed no respect for martial arts and beat up Class B’s strongest fighter, Sudo-kun!”

”...” Boys in Class A present were speechless at this.

What she just said is really true.
