Berserk God of War

Capítulo 1433: Chapter 1433: Young Su Old Demon

Sikong Jing previously believed that completing the challenge faster would provide clues about the disappearance of the Overlord Spirit Venerable’s body, that this was the skill.

However, the Overlord Spiritual Shadow’s words now seemed to prove that it wasn’t that simple…

Whether or not clues could be seen had nothing to do with the speed of completing the challenge.

Sikong Jing took a deep breath and stopped thinking too much, leaping off the warhorse and heading into the second castle.

No matter what, first collect the reward for this challenge, the Domineering Soul Soldier Killing Map, before anything else.

Thud, thud, thud…

Inside the second castle, it was empty and barren.

Covered in blood, Sikong Jing dragged the Overlord Battle King Spear, stepping forward, with echoes creating a sense of solitude and panic.

Yet his expression did not change; he believed the Overlord Spirit Venerable would not harm the challengers.

In the castle, there must be no other dangers…

“Compared to the first castle, the second castle is somewhat different, filled with an exotic realm style.”

As he walked, Sikong Jing found the second castle very strange, with decorations and arrangements he had never seen before. But he quickly dismissed it, as he had only been in the Central Plains a short time and there were many things he hadn’t seen.

In a flash, he stepped into the main hall of the castle, and the ancient atmosphere rushed toward him.

Except for an ice stone table in the center, there was still nothing else there. Yet at this moment, he already saw a hint of black on the ice stone table, precisely a piece of Black Jade Diagram.

Sikong Jing’s spirit slightly shook; he knew this was the Domineering Soul Soldier Killing Map.

Without hesitation, Sikong Jing stepped forward to reach the front of the ice stone table and, after observing the Black Jade Diagram for a moment, reached out and grabbed it… When he touched it, naturally nothing happened.

Only when Sikong Jing’s thoughts entered it… Boom!

Various battlefield illusions instantly flooded into his brain, immediately followed by a cursory glance through all the exercises recorded within the Domineering Soul Soldier Killing Map…

Gradually, his expression became somewhat solemn.

Only after a full two moments did he retract his thoughts from the Domineering Soul Soldier Killing Map.

“So strong…”

“Legend has it that the Overlord Spirit Venerable’s Soldier Killing Array was otherworldly. The Domineering Soul Soldier Killing Map is powerful, but the required soldier types are extremely rare and hard to cultivate, which has always been criticized by people from the Overlord Commerce.”

“But this complete version of the Domineering Soul Soldier Killing Map is different. Although the soldier types are more specialized than other Soldier Killing Maps, they are not outside an acceptable range, and there’s nothing bizarre about it…”

“If anything is bizarre, it should be that the Domineering Soul Soldier Killing Map is too strong, only slightly weaker than the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map.”

At this point, Sikong Jing’s expression became more solemn, filled with confusion.

The Domineering Soul Soldier Killing Map, one can hear it and know it was created by the Overlord Spirit Venerable himself. Yet, aside from the reputation of being bizarre and fantastical, there’s no rumor of his Soldier Killing Array being this strong.

Slightly weaker than the Qianyuan Soldier Killing Map, yet it would still be something others would fight over fiercely.

“Kid, do you feel my Domineering Soul Soldier Killing Map is a bit too strong?”

Suddenly, the voice of the Overlord Spiritual Shadow came again in Sikong Jing’s ears: “Do you feel it doesn’t quite match my achievements?”

Sikong Jing slightly raised his head, of course, unable to see the existence of the Overlord Spiritual Shadow…

The other party seemed still trapped in the first castle and couldn’t leave.

Before Sikong Jing could ask, the Overlord Spiritual Shadow continued: “Likewise, whether you can get the answer depends on your skills… Now you go out of the hall, if you see nothing, it proves you don’t have the skill, and you can come back.”

Sikong Jing opened his mouth, referring to skills again?

What exactly is this skill?

Sikong Jing knew that he probably had to truly see something to get all the answers, otherwise, he might never get the clues.

Or perhaps, he might need to go to other Overlord Soul Secret Realms in the Central Plains to try, though as he was about to break into the Spirit Martial Stage, he couldn’t enter other Overlord Soul Secret Realms anymore.

To find clues about the disappearance of the Overlord Spirit Venerable, this was the last chance.

Without thinking further, Sikong Jing dragged the Overlord Battle King Spear with one hand, holding the Domineering Soul Soldier Killing Map with the other, and stepped out of the hall.

At the same time, the Overlord Spiritual Shadow on the first castle murmured lowly, “Brother Su, could he be the successor you want?”

As he spoke, the Overlord Spiritual Shadow saw Sikong Jing stepping out of the hall from afar…

And at this moment, Sikong Jing’s footsteps suddenly paused, while the Overlord Spiritual Shadow’s eyes gleamed brightly: “He sees it!”

Sikong Jing saw it, just as he stepped out of the hall, a suddenly flashing scene appeared…

Within the scene, under an Ancient Pine…

A pair of men, looking only about twenty years old, were playing chess.

One of the men was dressed in shabby gray clothes, slim in stature, while the other was robust, draped in Black Armor.

With just a glance, Sikong Jing judged that the robust young man was exactly how the Overlord Spirit Venerable looked in his youth.

And the man in gray clothes, who was he?

The scene seemed to zoom in abruptly, and Sikong Jing’s gaze instantly fixed on the man in gray clothes, then a wave of extreme familiarity surged up, and he exclaimed softly, “Grandpa Su…”

This young man in gray clothes turned out to be Grandpa Su in his youth.

Su Yuexi resembled her grandmother Ye Wuyan, while Su Yue Immortal resembled her grandfather Su Beiheng, so Sikong Jing recognized him.

He was filled with disbelief; the Overlord Spirit Venerable was actually playing chess with Grandpa Su, playing Soldier Killing Chess, and they knew each other in their youth, and now he saw the illusion scene here.

Why?

This is the skill the Overlord Spiritual Shadow mentioned, without the skill, you wouldn’t see this scene, but what kind of skill is this?

It should be known, even if the Overlord Spirit Venerable and Grandpa Su were acquainted, generally speaking, this should not be known to anyone… otherwise, it would not only implicate Overlord Commerce but also Venerable Ba Lian!

Yet the successful challenger of the Overlord Soul Secret Realm saw it.

With heavy doubts, Sikong Jing calmed his mind and quietly looked at the scene before him, at the chess game being played.

“Grandpa Su won.”

Sikong Jing glanced over, then whispered, “But only won by half a piece.”

As Sikong Jing pondered, the young Overlord Spirit Venerable in the illusion scene suddenly stood up, pounding his chest with his fists, “Ah ah ah, damn it, lost again, always losing by half a piece, damn it, I’m not convinced!”

Although speaking with dissatisfaction, and cursing, the Overlord Spirit Venerable did not appear angry, only incredibly annoyed.

At this moment, the young Su Beiheng smiled and said, “Brother Teng, how about another match in six months?”

Brother Teng?

Sikong Jing knew, this must be the real surname of the Overlord Spirit Venerable, Overlord… just the title of the Venerable from Overlord Commerce!

“No, I want to face you on the battlefield, no more of this lousy chess.” The Overlord Spirit Venerable looked utterly sullen.

However, the young Su Beiheng bitterly smiled and said, “Brother Teng, I’m really down on my luck now, last time I created a Soldier Killing Illusion Realm and owed a huge debt… Where can I find soldiers to practice with you on the battlefield?”

Hearing this, Sikong Jing’s eyes narrowed slightly, realizing that young Grandpa Su was indeed down on his luck.
