Capítulo 1158: Chapter 1158: Beast Killing Array, Swallowing Sky Tiger Roar

The next moment… swish, swish!

Two Emperor Martial Stage Spirit Shadows, blasted away, descended once again.

Because the demon beast’s spirit shadows were far too chaotic, they turned around but couldn’t find Sikong Jing’s presence.

Not long after, Sikong Jing discovered that the two Spirit Shadows abruptly moved in opposite directions and exploded with waves of Spiritual Shadow Power…

The bewildering scene thereafter crashed into Sikong Jing’s view.

With the power of the two Spirit Shadows, the Beast Shadows suddenly split into two forces, starting a fierce battle under their command and control.

The divided Beast Shadows, fought brutally…

Sikong Jing, buried in the ground, gaped at this scene.

He couldn’t help but mumble to himself, “So there really are two armies. The battles these demon beasts fought before their deaths were truly insane to the extreme. I wonder what kind of commander could make these demon beasts hate each other so deeply?”

“The two Spirit Shadows’ previous dread of the demon beast battlefield was not fear. It was instinctively not wanting to disturb their rest, wasn’t it?”

After all, able to command the spirit shadows to battle, the two Spirit Shadows were obviously not afraid.

As time passed, Sikong Jing could clearly see from the fierce fighting among the Beast Shadows that they fought to the death.

Even after death, leaving only their spirits behind, under the command of the Spirit Shadows, the two sides seemed to have a deep hatred for each other, as if it was a vendetta of kin-slaying and spouse-stealing, refusing to let go without viciously killing the other…

The mutual hatred and slaughter among the demon beasts were astonishingly appalling.

What perplexed Sikong Jing even more was…

The ones commanding the demon beasts were two Spirit Shadows of the Human Clan; even the tamed demon beast mounts weren’t this loyal, were they?

If there were, it would only be a few.

Not knowing how long the fight lasted, the War General Spirit Shadow suddenly issued a cold voice, saying, “You, being demon beasts, yet aiding evildoers!”

It’s obvious this was the inherent sound of will from the War General Spirit Shadow during its life.

The opposing Blood-colored Female Spirit Shadow then retorted, “You, being from the Human Clan, yet aiding demon beasts to wreak havoc on earth.”

After each said their piece, they again maniacally commanded the demon beast spirit shadows into battle.

It seemed they had already forgotten Sikong Jing’s existence.

And hidden underground, transformed into the breath of demon beast spirit shadows, Sikong Jing was stunned again. Despite the brevity, those two sentences seemed to be very crucial, revealing the origin of this ancient war.

Sikong Jing looked towards the direction of the War General Spirit Shadow, muttering, “Is this on the side of the demon beasts?”

He had just cursed at the beast shadows opposite, saying they aid evil.

Meanwhile, the Blood-colored Female Spirit Shadow cursed back, saying, being from the Human Clan yet aiding demon beasts to harm humans – it was evident the War General Spirit Shadow led demon beasts to battle the Human Clan… while the opposing demon beast spirit shadows aided humans to slaughter demon beasts.

Sikong Jing’s mouth twitched continuously, shrouded in confusion.

“Could the two forces of the Soul Snatching Battlefield actually be… demon beasts and the Human Clan?”

With this thought, Sikong Jing promptly entered the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison with his Spirit Shadow, seeking answers from the Golden Divine Dragon, the Divine Turtle, and other Fierce Beasts.

The Divine Turtle responded, “That’s precisely the case. It likely stems from the ancient battle between the prior Master of Ten Thousand Beasts and the Five Heavenly Emperors, which led many places to fall into battles between demon beasts and the Human Clan.”

It gave Sikong Jing a definite answer.

The Golden Divine Dragon then continued, “Back then, the Five Heavenly Emperors called for the Human Clan to exterminate all demon beasts, while the previous Master of Ten Thousand Beasts summoned demon beasts to counterkill the major forces under the Five Heavenly Emperors, creating numerous terrifying battlefield remnants.”

After speaking, the Golden Divine Dragon sighed softly.

The Black Prison Devouring Sky Tiger nodded and said, “This is just one of the battlefields in front of us, but compared to us, it’s just a small battlefield.”

At this time, the Feiyun Butterfly also emerged and said, “This battlefield could also be from fights after we were bombarded by the Five Heavenly Emperors into the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison; the impact of that ancient war was indeed massive.”

The meaning was: even after the victory of the Five Heavenly Emperors, the war between demon beasts and the Human Clan continued endlessly.

And the Five Heavenly Emperors, for reasons unknown, remained indifferent.

Hearing this, Sikong Jing basically understood, but he still had a question.

“If this is the case, why would the opposing demon beasts be so insanely eager to aid the Human Clan?”

This question baffled the Fierce Beast Divine Beasts as well. Moreover, this battlefield was insignificant to them, so they were too lazy to think about it.

They simply let Sikong Jing search for answers within the battlefield himself…

Sikong Jing didn’t get a response, so he had to exit the Ten Thousand Beasts Sky Prison and then focus again on the ongoing battles.

While observing, a whim made him shout, “I am the new Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, so I should be on the side of the demon beasts.”

After speaking, Sikong Jing’s gaze suddenly turned towards the War General Spirit Shadow, and he heavily declared, “Let’s give it a try.”

As soon as the words dropped, Sikong Jing released his Spiritual Platform Sea Power, instantly dispersing countless strands of spiritual power, connecting directly with the beast spirit shadows on the War General Spirit Shadow’s side.

Subsequently, Sikong Jing slowly rose from the ground and lightly shouted, “Beast Killing Array, appear!”

His whim was to wield the power of the Beast Killing Array to control the beast shadows on the War General Spirit Shadow’s side. Sikong Jing didn’t know whether he could succeed, whether he could control the demon beast spirit shadows to manifest the Beast Killing Array.

But he wanted to give it a try.

If control succeeded, he could assist the War General Spirit Shadow in defeating the opponent, and simultaneously, he could experience the breath of myriad beast shadows.

In other words, this move could help Sikong Jing bring a breakthrough to his Spiritual Platform Sea…

Buzz!

At the moment Sikong Jing’s Spiritual Platform Sea Power connected with a portion of the demon beast spirit shadows, the battling beast shadows froze. Following this, their spiritual shadow power began to connect…

It was as if strands of spiritual power bound them tightly together.

“Succeeded, it’s actually working.” Seeing this, Sikong Jing growled lowly, his eyes shining brightly.

Since it succeeded, Sikong Jing then exerted more force to extend the lines under his feet, connecting more and more demon beast spirit shadows.

After completion, Sikong Jing raised his head and shouted, “Demon beast warriors, under my control, exterminate the enemy!”

Though he hadn’t unleashed the aura of the Master of Ten Thousand Beasts, at this moment he purposely released the aura of the Black Prison Devouring Sky Tiger Meridian.

Sikong Jing wanted to awe the beast shadows with the power of a Fierce Beast, to command them with the might of a Fierce Beast. If successful, even if the War General Spirit Shadow still desired to kill him later, he could make the beast shadows fight for him.

Once the Beast Killing Array succeeded in controlling the beast shadows, Sikong Jing stood in a position of invincibility, no longer a mere target of pursuit.

“Roar…”

With Sikong Jing’s command, the demon beasts seemed to perceive the aura of the Black Prison Devouring Sky Tiger upon him, twisting and roaring repeatedly, their natural instincts firmly under Sikong Jing’s dominion.

Meanwhile, the War General Spirit Shadow stopped its commands to the beast shadows, dumbfoundedly staring at Sikong Jing.

Reduced to mere instinct, it seemed incapable of comprehending this scene.

But Sikong Jing no longer concerned himself with it, energetically shouting, “Beast Killing Formation, Swallowing Sky Tiger Roar!”
