Berserk God of War

Chapter 1138: Chapter 1138: Repeating the Tactic, Piercing with One Arrow

As the words fell, the spear in Sikong Jing’s hand shot out like a javelin towards the direction down the mountain, still descending wildly at a slanting angle just like the Iron Winged Divine Vulture...

In just a few breaths, it reached the ally of the Refining Copper Manor outside.

The ally of the Refining Copper Manor had just sensed the battle on the mountain. Of course, he knew that the so-called Sikong Jing with the Emperor’s Artifact was very powerful. Forgetting about Ah Xie’s presence, he suddenly turned his head, intending to catch this spear.

However, when Sikong Jing’s long spear reached in front of him, it suddenly seemed to use up all its strength, crashing straight into the ground in front of the Refining Copper Manor ally.

The spear shaft sticking out of the ground wobbled slightly at that moment, looking both ridiculous and laughable.

For a moment, Ah Xie was stunned, and the ally of the Refining Copper Manor was also stunned.

Then... hahaha!

The ally of the Refining Copper Manor realized and pointed at the spear shaft waving like a tail, bursting into uncontrollable laughter.

He even clutched his belly and doubled over.

Laughing, he shouted back towards the mountain, ”I almost forgot, damn it! You nearly scared me to death... How could you possibly throw it so far, do you think you’re at the Emperor Martial Stage?”

Just now, even though Sikong Jing and Chen Er hadn’t fought for long.

But the Martial Battle Realm, in the eyes of most people on the Central Plains, was not considered weak.

Plus, with the treasure to speed them up, Ah Xie and the ally from Refining Copper Manor had actually run a very long distance, and Sikong Jing wasn’t some terrifying force at the Emperor Martial Stage, he wasn’t even at the Spirit Martial Stage.

No matter how skilled he was, no matter how powerful the Emperor’s Artifact was, it was impossible for him to throw a spear such a long distance with spare energy.

Even if there was just a little remaining energy, it would not cause any harm.

See, the spear just plunged headfirst into the ground.

Thinking of this, the ally of the Refining Copper Manor laughed even harder, the momentum Sikong Jing had just now felt ironic now.

Hearing this relentless mocking, Ah Xie immediately understood the situation, he bitterly smiled repeatedly, the hope he had just rekindled shattered... Even now, if Sikong Jing could chase him down, it would be too late.

Moreover, Sikong Jing’s enemies were far more terrifying than his own, making it impossible for him to catch up.

Looks like, he could only resort to self-sacrifice.

Just as Ah Xie was about to act on his desperation, Sikong Jing’s voice, still calm, resounded, ”Ah Xie, do you remember the first disciple of Refining Copper Manor we killed?”

As the voice fell, Ah Xie abruptly halted the circulating True Qi within his body, gazing at the spear embedded in the ground.

In an instant, his entire body shivered violently.

In the next moment, Sikong Jing shouted again fervently, ”Now, go!”

Ah Xie, after a slight clench of his fists, turned decisively and struck fiercely against the force blockade belonging to the Refining Copper Manor ally. After a few hits, he broke through the True Qi weakened by laughter and continued to sprint away.

At the same time, a ”boom” resounded behind him, as Sikong Jing’s spear directly exploded.

Immediately, Ah Xie’s entire body trembled violently, yet his eyes filled with radiant determination. He gritted his teeth madly and kept sprinting, not daring to look back.

And at this moment... howl howl howl!

A chilling howl echoed behind Ah Xie.

It was a wave of spiritual shadows darting out, and even a spiritual shadow emerged behind him from the soil. However, the spiritual shadow didn’t attack Ah Xie but surged towards the direction of the spear explosion.

For the Spiritual Platform Sea Power was immensely strong there, seemingly quite appetizing.

Meanwhile, the laughter from the Refining Copper Manor ally also ceased abruptly.

In the next moment, a look of terror filled his face as he frantically gazed at the dozens of spiritual shadows pouncing upon him, unable to stifle a scream, ”Bastard, you you you...”

Before he could finish, Sikong Jing spoke indifferently, ”This method was taught by your Refining Copper Manor disciples, it’s quite useful.”

Sikong Jing knew full well that at such a long distance, the True Qi on his spear would be almost exhausted by the time it reached, but he still threw it, because he infused it with Spiritual Platform Sea Power.

Just as with the arrow before, igniting the spear and exploding the Spiritual Platform Sea Power would attract the surrounding spiritual shadows.

Having Ah Xie escape quickly was precisely to prevent him from being besieged by spiritual shadows.

Now, Ah Xie had broken out of the encirclement.

However, the ally from the Refining Copper Manor remained near the site of the spear explosion, so dozens of spiritual shadows were already pouncing on him.

Yet, unlike the previous disciples of the Refining Copper Manor, this ally was not so weak, faced with the dozens of spiritual shadows, he was terrified but still forcibly erupted with Spiritual Platform Sea Power, pinpointing them one by one, trying to imprison them all.

Though he was flustered and hectic, it seems he could still handle them.

But right at this moment, at the foot of the slope... buzz!

A light arrow suddenly shot forth, piercing right through the Refining Copper Manor ally’s forehead with a ”puff” sound, and his figure suddenly froze, before he slowly turned his head to look in the direction where the arrow light came from.

It turned out to be Ah Xie, who at some unknown time had stopped on a large rock at the foot of the mountain, holding a strong bow in his hand.

That arrow, of course, was shot by Ah Xie.

He seized the moment while the Refining Copper Manor ally was in distress dealing with the countless spiritual shadows and brutally shot an arrow through his forehead... At this moment, Ah Xie’s whole body trembled, but the grip on the bow was firm beyond measure.

Simultaneously, his eyes were ablaze with fiery fervor.

Howl...

With the arrow lodged in the Refining Copper Manor ally, the myriad spiritual shadows broke free of his confinement, fiercely surging into his body.

Aaaaah...

The Refining Copper Manor ally let out a terrifying scream and then, in just a moment, fell silent.

Followed by Sikong Jing’s voice echoing from the mountain, ”Ah Xie, well done... keep running, don’t let the spiritual shadows catch up to you.”

Ah Xie nodded heavily, then without even retrieving the bow, turned and fled, yet his heart felt like it was about to explode. He was just an unnoticed figure within the Weng Family, and he had managed to personally take down a Refining Copper Manor ally.

The thrill, it was indeed too exhilarating, now even if he died, it would be worth it.

And for Sikong Jing to let the ally chase after himself, he probably had long planned to use this move to eliminate an enemy. Now, with only two enemies left facing him, would there still be hope?

Ah Xie thought of this and continued to silently pray...

On the old withered tree on the mountain, Sikong Jing slowly retracted his gaze.

Upon turning back, the ground-embedded Chen Er had somehow left the original spot.

Moreover, he now stood beside the girl carrying the Wunian palanquin, with faint spiritual shadow auras dissipating around them. It seemed the surrounding spiritual shadows had also attacked them earlier, but apparently to no avail.

Seeing Sikong Jing’s gaze, Chen Er lightly clapped his hands and praised, ”Splendid, truly splendid, worthy of being the East Dominator Genius, but I’m a bit displeased.”

Sikong Jing’s eyes squinted slightly, clapping away some encroaching spiritual shadows, then smiled a bit as he replied, ”Oh?”

”Initially, you had the chance to eliminate me, but you chose to deal with the Refining Copper Manor ally first. Am I not as important as a Refining Copper Manor ally?” Chen Er stated the reason for his discontent mildly.

He was in the Fifth Realm of Spirit Battle, far superior to the Refining Copper Manor ally, but Sikong Jing had chosen to kill the latter first.
