Chapter 1132: Chapter 1132: Refining Copper Manor, Secret Arrows

Sikong Jing frowned deeply upon hearing this.

Weng Ting had also explained that upon entering the Soul Snatching Battlefield, it would be like entering a Spiritual Shadow Array, where initially one encounters Spiritual Battle Realm Spirit Shadows, and as one goes deeper, the Spirit Shadows encountered become stronger.

The young members of the Weng Family could gradually adapt as the Spirit Shadows intensified, thereby continuously enhancing themselves.

But what they were encountering now completely overturned the usual rules of the Soul Snatching Battlefield.

Thinking about this, Sikong Jing suddenly said in a low voice, ”It’s likely related to what the Old Monster from the Wunian Saint Sect wants to obtain. This Soul Snatching battle is definitely different from before.”

Sikong Jing thought about the actions of the Old Monster from the Wunian Saint Sect when the entrance was opened.

He still didn’t know how the Old Monster initially knew what the Emperor Martial Stage Spirit Shadow was, but Sikong Jing believed the changes in this Soul Snatching Battlefield were surely caused by this unique Emperor Martial Stage Spirit Shadow.

To have a Spirit Shadow that the Old Monster values and threatens to destroy sects and families, it must be very special.

”At this moment, we are probably not at the very outskirts of the Soul Snatching Battlefield, but rather closer to the central zone.” Sikong Jing thought more and made another judgment: ”And now all combatants must be in the same situation as us.”

”Of course it’s also possible we are still in the outer areas, but all the Spirit Shadows have been scattered without any rules.”

After thinking about it, Sikong Jing added a sentence, now he had no idea where they were, and the two Spirit Shadows they just encountered, one was Spirit Movement Realm, and the other was the terrifying Sea Crossing Realm.

Therefore, there are two possibilities.

Either way, the Spirit Shadows have been scrambled without the rule of strength, and they are still on the outskirts.

Or they have been brought closer to the central zone.

Currently, there’s no way to judge, so Sikong Jing asked the young member of the Weng Family, ”Do you have a map of the Soul Snatching Battlefield?”

The young member of the Weng Family immediately shook his head and said, ”No, each Soul Snatching battle field is ever-changing, and many forces try to figure out the rules of the terrain, but it’s different each time.”

Sikong Jing frowned upon hearing this...

Exactly, if there was a map, Weng Ting would have already shown it to them, including Zhang Duiyi and others.

In helplessness, Sikong Jing could only ask again, ”Then how did your Weng Family approach the central zone before?”

”Just advancing according to the strength of the Spirit Shadows.”

The young member of the Weng Family dumbly replied, ”Starting from Spiritual Battle Realm Spirit Shadows, and when we find Spirit Movement Realm ones, it means we are approaching the central zone... thus inferring our position and direction of progress.”

This explanation left Sikong Jing speechless.

Now that the Spirit Shadows are without rules, chaotic realms of all types are present, thus completely unable to infer which direction is the central zone based on the old rules, thereby completely unsure of where to go next.

”It seems we’ll need to walk and discover new rules along the way.” Sikong Jing spoke in a gloomy tone, taking a deep breath before asking, ”Do you have a method to locate companions? We now need to quickly find Senior Sister Weng and the others.”

This time, the young member of the Weng Family finally gave a positive answer.

”Yes, we can determine the direction of companions using Mechanical Messenger Birds.”

The young member of the Weng Family gently explained, ”Ordinary Message Birds get killed by Spirit Shadows as soon as they appear on the battlefield, although the formations on Mechanical Messenger Birds can also be worn down by Spirit Shadows, they can at least fly a bit further.”

The intention was: although Mechanical Messenger Birds can also possibly be damaged by Spirit Shadows, they can fly a certain distance.

This way, one can determine the direction of companions, and if lucky, perhaps they can even fly directly into the hands of companions.

Sikong Jing nodded and asked again, ”How many Mechanical Messenger Birds do you have on hand?”

The young member of the Weng Family curled his lips and said, ”Only two... Because the probability of getting separated was not high before, so each of us only carries two Mechanical Messenger Birds.”

Sikong Jing was again dumbfounded, then said, ”Although two is few, if everyone has them, there’s a chance of finding more people.”

Each person’s Mechanical Messenger Bird will be directed to Weng Ting, the mainstay.

Now that everyone is scattered, surely there are members of the Weng Family using Messenger Birds to find Weng Ting’s location, and upon seeing the Messenger Birds of the Weng Family, one can inversely deduce the location of the scattered ones, thereby finding people.

Simultaneously, one can also use this to determine the direction of Weng Ting.

Unfortunately, Weng Ting surely did not anticipate that upon entering, they would be completely scattered, because each previous Soul Snatching battle was not like this, so she did not leave a Messenger Bird with Sikong Jing before entering.

She was probably planning to, after entering, assess new terrain and consult with everyone before deciding and planning.

But now, there isn’t even an opportunity for consultation.

”However, it might also be used by the enemy...”

Suddenly, Sikong Jing spoke gloomily again, and then said, ”Let’s not use Mechanical Messenger Birds for now, let’s first observe the surroundings; maybe the scattering isn’t too far.”

Saying this, Sikong Jing looked around...

The Soul Snatching Battlefield was devoid of sunlight, the sky covered by thick clouds, dark and carrying a terrifying vibe, but Sikong Jing, with his eyesight, could still see some of the surroundings.

At this moment, he pointed towards a higher mountain and said, ”Let’s go, we’ll first go to the high ground to see.”

The words had just fallen, when a sudden cold flash erupted in Sikong Jing’s eyes...

In that instant, he shifted his position, and then heard a ”buzz” sound explode in his ear, an abrupt ray of arrow light barely flashed past his ear.

He stared with fixed eyes as the arrow light flew off into the distance, and then suddenly looked back.

Buzz!

Another arrow sound followed, and this time the target of the arrow light was the still bewildered young member of the Weng Family. Sikong Jing quickly used force with his feet, flashed to the latter’s side, and heftily grasped.

In an instant, the second secret arrow was gripped in his hand, then he immediately lifted his head to gaze ahead.

He saw a figure slowly walking out from behind a boulder at the foot of the hill, a young man holding a strong bow, still aiming an arrow at both Sikong Jing and the young member.

The tip of the arrow flickered with a cold gleam!

Sikong Jing studied him for a moment, then softly spoke, ”Refining Copper Manor...”

The person suddenly appearing was certainly not a Spirit Shadow; Spirit Shadows do not shoot arrows, and his attire was definitively of Refining Copper Manor.

The young man, upon hearing this, lightly sighed, ”As expected of the East Dominator Genius, even without being a War Body, you can dodge my secret arrows. I originally thought I was so lucky, just entering and obtaining the Emperor’s Artifact on you, now... farewell.”

As he spoke, the disciple from Refining Copper Manor still held the bow aimed at Sikong Jing, while his feet retreated continuously.

It seemed he was prepared to back into the large stone and then flash away.

He and Sikong Jing obviously bore no grudge; he simply aimed this secret arrow to obtain the Emperor’s Artifact from Sikong Jing.

But Sikong Jing spoke lowly, ”Do you think, now that you’ve shot at me, you can still leave?”

To this, the Refining Copper Manor disciple grinned, ”I know your Emperor’s Artifact is formidable, but I can certainly leave, because...”

At this point, he abruptly paused, then with a ”buzz” sound, shot the third arrow.
