Chapter 747: Chapter 420: Promotion

Li Yuanba had another matter to deal with, that was the cold frost Sword Intent within his body.

This cold frost Sword Intent had been devoured by his Corpse-refined body, completely losing its aggressiveness; furthermore, with the death of his master, Elder Shi Ming the Great Elder, the spiritual consciousness within the Sword Intent dissipated as well.

After Li Yuanba’s transformation from a Corpse-refined state into a human state, this cold frost Sword Intent still remained inside his body. Though it no longer had any aggressiveness, it was after all not naturally his own.

He had originally planned to transform back into the Corpse-refined state and have the body in that state absorb it for his own use.

But after perceiving the cold frost Sword Intent, he had another thought.

Now that the cold frost Sword Intent lacked aggressiveness and had no owner, perhaps he could attempt to absorb it in his human state.

After all, his human state was that of a Sword Cultivator, the same as that of Elder Shi Ming the Great Elder.

It’s just that the attributes of their Sword Intent were different. For Li Yuanba to absorb this Sword Intent, he had to consider the influence of the cold frost attribute.

He contacted his main body, Li Shiming, and through his life-bound magical treasure, the IBMz15, carried out an analysis and judgment, arriving at a most plausible conclusion.

He hesitated no more, as the Supreme Yang Sword Intent within him suddenly wrapped around the cold frost Sword Intent.

Sword Intent possesses a slight autonomous consciousness, which is a special trait of Sword Intent.

Being enveloped by the Supreme Yang Sword Intent and the intense clash of attributes made the cold frost Sword Intent want to resist being devoured.

If the cold frost Sword Intent had not been devoured by the Corpse-refined body and had its aggressiveness erased, perhaps Li Yuanba, relying on his human state’s Golden Core Middle Stage Supreme Yang Sword Intent, really would have been unable to cope with this cold frost Sword Intent.

But now, even if the cold frost Sword Intent resisted, it lacked much aggressiveness and was passively defending.

Li Yuanba’s Supreme Yang Sword Intent was like a fountain with a source, while the cold frost Sword Intent was like rootless duckweed. Initially, the Supreme Yang Sword Intent could do nothing against the cold frost Sword Intent, but as time passed, the cold attribute within the cold frost Sword Intent was worn down gradually and weakened.

Elder Shi Ming the Sword Cultivation Great Elder was indeed a formidable Sword Cultivator and this cold frost Sword Intent of his was accumulated over a long distance through a Secret Technique. Li Yuanba, gaining the upper hand, took a full three days to eradicate the cold attribute of the cold frost Sword Intent.

Right after the cold attribute was completely worn away, the pure Sword Intent integrated into Li Yuanba’s Supreme Yang Sword Intent.

This was a Sword Intent several times purer than his own, even devoid of the cold attribute, it was still a Sword Intent above the Golden Core Stage.

With the integration of the Sword Intent, Li Yuanba came to a comprehension of Elder Shi Ming the Great Elder’s Sword Intent.

In one year, with lessons on the Sky-Surging Sword Intent Technique explained by Elder Sword, he had reached an extremely high theoretical level, but even with Elder Sword’s help, he could not fully comprehend the true Sword Intent at the Golden Core Peak.

Now, the Golden Core Peak Sword Intent, without a hint of concealment, was being merged by his own Sword Intent, revealing all its secrets without reserve.

With the theoretical explanations by Elder Sword and now contrasting with the actual Golden Core Peak Sword Intent, his understanding of Sword Intent deepened greatly in a short time.

Another three days passed, and outsiders of this courtyard didn’t know what was going on inside. If not for Li Yuanba having previously strengthened the courtyard’s Formation, perhaps things would have been completely different by now.

In the Cultivation Room within the courtyard where he was located, Sword Intent continuously surged out from his body, tracing mysterious arcs in the void, before returning to his body.

Suddenly, a Sword Intent shot towards the wall, an uncontrolled Sword Intent, a result of his cultivation without consciousness.

The Sword Intent, upon colliding with the wall, was blocked by the Formation, specifically the Fourth-grade Array, the Sumeru Mustard Seed Array, which he had laid out.

Li Yuanba’s tightly closed eyes opened, his eyes flashing with sharp cold light in the darkness of the room, like two unsheathed swords.

”Phew!” he exhaled a long breath, and the Sword Intent in his eyes disappeared.

The gains from these six days surpassed those of his two years in closed-door cultivation.

With his judgment, his Sword Intent had improved to the level of just entering the Late-stage Golden Core. This greatly reduced the bottleneck in advancing to the Late-stage Golden Core.

Although he couldn’t say that there was no bottleneck in advancing to the Late-stage Golden Core, with the breakthrough in his Sword Intent level, the bottleneck he faced as a Sword Cultivator entering the Late-stage Golden Core was much weakened, making it easier for him to breakthrough.

Next, he just needed to cultivate step by step, gradually accumulating Spiritual Power until the Golden Core was full.

Six days later, Li Yuanba left his courtyard for the first time.

Upon leaving the courtyard, he instantly felt the oppression of this stronghold, an oppressing feeling that made him extremely uncomfortable.

He looked up at one of the seven mountain peaks, the source of the oppression was that mountain.

That mountain peak was where Venerable Huike resided. It was unclear what had happened to cause the Venerable to reveal his emotions, thereby affecting the surroundings.

In fact, Venerable Huike’s emotional influence only affected those Cultivators with strong spirits and heightened sensitivity. Venerable Huike was also holding back his own emotions, not wishing to harm the Cultivators of his faction due to his personal reasons.

Li Yuanba did not disturb Ancestor Lu but took out a communication plaque and contacted Elder Wei Xi, a new friend he had just made.

Elder Wei Xi was his natural ally; coming from Shushan Sect and a disciple of Elder Zuo, Elder Zuo had been favorable towards his original body, Li Shiming.

And as many Cultivators knew, Li Yuanba and Li Shiming were friends, making his relationship with Elder Wei Xi harmonious when they first became acquainted.

”Mr. Li, are you out of seclusion?” Elder Wei Xi communicated through the communication plaque after connecting.
