Cultivation is just so scientific!

Chapter 737: Chapter 415 Compromise

The Skywalk Trading Company did not place much importance on the Beishu Continent; this was but a location awaiting development for them.

If it hadn’t been for the successive disappearances of both a False Infant Sealing Instrument and Patriarch Weng Zhao, an elder at the Nascent Soul level, Elder Jin Kai would not have come to investigate.

The various Nascent Soul Ancestors of the Skywalk Trading Company each had their own concerns, and it was merely by chance that Elder Jin Kai had finished his duties and was able to come here.

Furthermore, the continuous disappearances at the Nascent Soul level on the Beishu Continent required an explanation.

When Elder Jin Kai discovered that seven Nascent Soul Ancestors had come over from the Beishu Continent, he had thought that Patriarch Weng Zhao and the False Infant Sealing Instrument had been killed by them, but after using a Secret Technique to observe the situation, he found this was not the case.

This led to a change in his approach toward the Beishu Continent; he had no desire to make an enemy of an entire continent.

Even though the strength of the Nascent Soul Cultivators on this continent was not formidable, the number of Nascent Soul Cultivators a continent possesses would not be small.

The Skywalk Trading Company was in the business of trade, although sometimes they dealt with the selling of intelligence, they would not lead the charge to attack a continent.

The seven Nascent Soul Ancestors of the Beishu Continent were relieved to hear about the two-year plan proposed by Elder Jin Kai.

Re-establishing the Skywalk Trading Company would face no more obstacles with Elder Jin Kai’s presence.

A mid-stage Nascent Soul Practitioner stepping in was definitely sufficient to open up a trade route.

After all, who wouldn’t want an additional channel for purchasing resources from other continents?

The reason why the Skywalk Trading Company had previously been banned was due to engaging in activities they shouldn’t have—probing into the intelligence of the six major sects and various other forces, involving too many of their secrets.

As a trading company dealing in Spiritual Objects, the collection of such a vast amount of confidential information led the six major sects to view their actions with suspicion.

The second matter Elder Jin Kai spoke of was locating the whereabouts of the False Infant Sealing Instrument and Patriarch Weng Zhao.

The fact that Elder Jin Kai himself announced this news reassured the seven Nascent Soul Ancestors even further; it meant that Patriarch Weng Zhao had not been able to return to the Skywalk Trading Company and, perhaps as they had previously suspected, had actually perished.

As for the False Infant Sealing Instrument, it was even less related to the six major sects, who also found its disappearance peculiar.

”We agree to the reconstruction of the Skywalk Trading Company, and if necessary, we can also offer assistance in finding the whereabouts of Weng Zhao and the False Infant Sealing Instrument,” said Ancestor Lu on behalf of all the Nascent Soul Ancestors after a brief consultation.

”I will need a place to settle down for the reconstruction of the Skywalk Trading Company, to facilitate the entry of subsequent personnel. As for finding the False Infant Sealing Instrument and Patriarch Weng Zhao, just make it somewhat convenient for my trading company’s personnel,” said Elder Jin Kai, as if he had anticipated this response, spoke calmly.

The discussion among the seven Nascent Soul Ancestors lasted longer this time due to the involvement of territory.

Labeled as a foothold, once this territory was conceded, it would be difficult to reclaim.

If the Skywalk Trading Company used this as a springboard to influence the Beishu Continent, it could become a considerable problem for the continent in the future.

However, the conditions posed by Elder Jin Kai were not excessive, and refusing them might lead to war.

Even if war were to break out, they certainly could not afford it at present.

At the very least, they needed to allow the six major sects of Beishu Continent enough time to prepare and awakens any Nascent Soul Ancestors that could be awakened, as well as gather all other Nascent Soul Ancestors from various forces to stand a chance in battle against the Skywalk Trading Company.

No one had anticipated the existence of a mid-stage Nascent Soul Practitioner within the Skywalk Trading Company, a presence capable of confronting many early-stage Nascent Soul Practitioners.

”Elder, we will evacuate the personnel on Yongle Island and hand it over to the Skywalk Trading Company,” Ancestor Lu stated somberly.

Uttering these words brought him discomfort; when had they ever suffered such indignity.

”Yongle Island...” Elder Jin Kai took out a Jade Scroll to check, quickly locating Yongle Island and considering its position and size, he nodded in satisfaction.

The Beishu Continent hadn’t tried to fob him off with a small island; Yongle Island was capable of accommodating a hundred thousand people, with a Golden Core Level Spiritual Vein and a considerable number of spirit fields.

With Yongle Island secured, it was entirely feasible for the Skywalk Trading Company to relocate a large number of cultivators there.

”Very well, I’ll accept Yongle Island!” Elder Jin Kai agreed with a nod.

Thinking that the issue was settled for the moment, the seven Nascent Soul Ancestors prepared to return to their respective sects to begin the awakening of other Nascent Soul Ancestors, but they then heard further words from Elder Jin Kai.

”Since Beishu Continent has purged the Skywalk Trading Company’s local branch, this grudge does not warrant us engaging in full-blown combat at the Nascent Soul level. However, for conflicts below the Nascent Soul level, Nascent Soul Stage Cultivators should not intervene!” Elder Jin Kai stated flatly.

His statement took the seven Nascent Soul Ancestors aback; this meant he was preparing for the Skywalk Trading Company’s cultivators to engage in battle with those of the Beishu Continent.

Given that the Skywalk Trading Company was from afar, even if they were to relocate cultivators, their numbers would be very limited.

Whereas the Beishu Continent had six major sects, many other forces, as well as numerous smaller sects and a large body of Loose Cultivators; the Skywalk Trading Company was preparing to use Golden Core Stage cultivators against the entire Beishu Continent’s Golden Core cultivators.

”Since the elder has spoken thus, let’s settle it this way!” Ancestor Lu made the response after garnering opinions from the other five major sects and the Beishu Trading Company.

”I will head to Yongle Island in ten days, I assume ten days is sufficient time, right?” Elder Jin Kai asked with a smile.
