Li Shiming’s brain had borrowed the computing power of IBMz15, and he was astonished to find that the advantage of IBMz15 in formation design was unimaginable.

The establishment of an Array required consideration of many factors.

A normal beginner Array Master could only use refined Array flags, setting them up according to the local environment and terrain, placing them in different directions to connect the Spiritual Energy for the purpose of allowing the free flow of Spiritual Energy.

Only an experienced Intermediate Array Master could design an Array Plate Formation without relying on Array flags.

Of course, this didn’t mean that the Array Plate Formation was stronger, but that it was more portable.

For example, the Sect’s Mountain Protection Array was not arranged through Array Plates but was built using a large amount of precious materials to make Array flags, supplemented by rare Spiritual Objects.

The designs Li Shiming had on paper had already surpassed the level of a beginner Array Master.

Although it was just a design and not an actual creation, for an Array Master, design was more important than production.

Design involved intellectual work, whereas production involved a great deal of hands-on ability.

A vast amount of formation knowledge was called upon; IBMz15 solved the biggest computational issues, allowing him to freely substitute his ideas in his mind and quickly analyze whether they were feasible.

Any design that made it onto paper had already been calculated through IBMz15.

Initially, Yin Shilan admired him for being able to apply the formation heritage to practical design so quickly, recognizing Li Shiming as a genius in arrays just like herself.

However, as time passed, the admiration in her eyes turned into surprise.

Li Shiming’s initial designs seemed naive, but many aspects were wildly imaginative, and even she, a recently advanced Intermediate Array Master, found aspects she could engage with.

The most crucial aspect was Li Shiming’s computation speed. Yin Shilan had started at the same time, but while she was still contemplating, he had already written down the results on paper.

“Could it be designed like this?” Yin Shilan, driven by her passion for arrays, shifted from a bystander to an active participant, her delicate, jade-white finger pointing and drawing a symbol at one spot.

“Yes, this design could enhance the efficiency of the Array by ten percent!” Li Shiming replied quickly, his brain closely integrated with the IBMz15 at that moment.

The two discussed the design on paper, with Yin Shilan occasionally offering her opinions, and Li Shiming sometimes agreeing and sometimes refuting.

Both had forgotten about the Flying Boat, which had long since arrived at Eagle Beak Island and was hovering over the sea near the island.

After an unknown length of time, the Turtle Shell design on the paper had been perfected by the two of them, resulting in a special formation.

The Spirit Turtle Shield was a Mid-grade Defense Magic Tool, but with the added designed formation, its defensive power could be enhanced to that of a High-Grade Defense Magic Tool, and it also had a flash burst mode capable of producing a blinding flash in an instant.

The blinding flash carried a dazzling effect, momentarily affecting attackers.

Of course, to turn the Spirit Turtle Shield into the designed formation would require many precious materials, which, given Li Shiming’s finances, was not a consideration for now.

The aspect of his work that Li Shiming was most proud of was that this formation could be effective while moving.

But the prerequisite was that the formation had to be controlled by him to be effective; if managed by Yin Shilan, it might also be moveable, but not as flexibly.

This involved computational ability; he used several mathematical formulas to simplify what was originally a highly complex calculation.

Why a formation couldn’t move once laid out was because whether using Array flags or an Array Plate, it required prior computational analysis of the surrounding environment.

The Array Plate had a built-in environmental assessment, allowing for the formation to be set up quickly unless the environment was overly complex.

Once the formation was set, the environment could no longer change; otherwise, all the pre-calculated data in the formation would go wrong, causing the formation to collapse.

Li Shiming had designed a new mathematical formula for this formation, reducing the computation process and devising a novel approach to designing a movable Array.

Yin Shilan’s eyes sparkled like stars; even her formation mentor hadn’t inspired such admiration in her, marking the beginning of a new school of formation art.

“Alright, we’ll create this formation when we get the chance!” Li Shiming stretched and said.

His arm accidentally touched Yin Shilan, who was next to him, and he quickly withdrew it.

Only then did the two realize that they were almost head-to-head, separated by less than a fist-width between them.

Yin Shilan’s figure blurred for a moment, and then she reappeared in her original position.

“The Flying Boat has stopped!” Li Shiming smelled a fragrance like that of orchids, feeling a sudden pang of anxiety and swiftly changing the topic.

“Take out your Identity Jade Disc, and if you have any questions about formations later, you can ask me through the Identity Jade Disc, and maybe I will also have questions for you!” Yin Shilan, suppressing a blush, gently adjusted a lock of hair at her temple and said.

Having received so many benefits from her, Li Shiming naturally did not refuse; he took out his Identity Jade Disc.

Yin Shilan also took out her Identity Jade Disc, and they exchanged contact information.

“Could you let me borrow the Spirit Turtle Shield and this design for a few days?” Yin Shilan put away her Identity Jade Disc and then asked.

“Take it!” Li Shiming did not hesitate. Since the design was a joint effort and he had the assistance of IBMz15, he had already saved the designs as data.
