The City’s Strongest Son-in-law

Chapter 667: Chapter 668 Start Action

Ye Qingcheng didn’t tell Su Changfeng about this matter, after all, Tian Chen is a loyal subordinate of Ye Chenwen. If Tian Chen doesn’t share the same idea with her, then the plan can’t be implemented.

However, without Tian Chen’s help, Ye Qingcheng doesn’t know what to do.

”Tian Chen, don’t forget, you can’t escape responsibility for killing Ye Lianchen.” Ye Qingcheng said.

Tian Chen frowned, Ye Qingcheng suddenly mentioning this left him puzzled. Could it be Ye Qingcheng intends to abandon him and let him bear all the responsibility?

”Miss, are you thinking of letting me take all the responsibility?” Tian Chen said.

Ye Qingcheng shook her head, came to Tian Chen, and said: ”I have a plan in hand now. Not only can it ensure our safety, but it can also allow me to maintain the position of Family Head, and I can give you an extraordinary position in the Ye Family.”

”Miss, if you want to say something, don’t beat around the bush. I’m getting older now and don’t have much patience for guessing.” Tian Chen said.

Ye Qingcheng adjusted her emotions, and said seriously: ”If my father dies, I will control the future of the Ye Family, and nobody will discover Ye Lianchen’s death.”

Tian Chen was stunned; no wonder Ye Qingcheng had been upset these days, she was actually planning this.

To kill Ye Chenwen!

Tian Chen had never entertained this idea, not even dared to think for a moment.

On the surface, Ye Chenwen is a businessman, but in fact, he is like a living King Yan, with countless people dying at his hands. Nobody knows how many bodies were used to establish the Ye Family’s extraordinary status in the Chinese Town of M Country. Planning to kill such a ruthless person like Ye Chenwen involves risks and costs beyond Tian Chen’s imagination.

”Miss, you should be more aware than I am of Ye Luochen’s power. Among all the Ye Family bodyguards, only Ye Luochen is allowed to carry the surname Ye.” Tian Chen said.

The Tian Generation’s bodyguards are indeed the strongest in the Ye Family, but Ye Luochen is different. He changed his surname early on, and being allowed by Ye Chenwen to carry the surname Ye, is a great honor affirming Ye Luochen’s power.

Tian Chen heard Ye Luochen was once the top assassin in an organization, even praised as the Killing God; many of Ye Chenwen’s enemies were eliminated by Ye Luochen, without a single failure, which is something Tian Chen cannot compare to.

In the Ye Family, apart from respecting Ye Chenwen, the only person Tian Chen fears is Ye Luochen.

Ye Qingcheng’s face was as dark as water, Ye Luochen indeed poses a great threat, but she holds a special status, there are many ways to kill Ye Chenwen, but after his death, a believable excuse must be given to Ye Luochen.

”I’m his daughter, someone who can get close to him. There’s no need for brute force to kill Ye Chenwen.” Saying this, Ye Qingcheng took out a capsule and continued, ”This is enough to kill him a thousand times.”

Looking at the capsule in Ye Qingcheng’s hand, Tian Chen’s heart jolted. Killing Ye Lianchen was the most crazy thing he’s ever done, and now they plan to kill Ye Chenwen.

”If you don’t do this, my father will find out who killed Ye Lianchen sooner or later. By then, I might be locked in a cellar for the rest of my life, and your only end would be death.” Ye Qingcheng said.

”Since you are the one closest to the Family Head, wouldn’t it be more prudent to let you handle this?” Tian Chen said.

”Now you understand my plan, do you think you have the option not to participate? I’ll deliver dishes later, and you go to the kitchen to make the dish.” Ye Qingcheng said.

Tian Chen’s breathing became urgent, after struggling internally, he took the capsule from Ye Qingcheng.

”I hope when Miss becomes the Family Head, you can keep your promise.” Tian Chen said.

In another room in the hotel, Ye Chenwen stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, his face cold. No news about Ye Lianchen recently, but he noticed something unusual about Ye Qingcheng during this time.

Ye Chenwen understands his daughter well, and her unusual actions are definitely hiding something.

”Ye Luochen, did you notice anything unusual about Qingcheng recently?” Ye Chenwen asked Ye Luochen.

”Miss is rather disturbed; perhaps the lack of news about the Young Master is related to her.” Ye Luochen said directly. Despite Ye Qingcheng’s ambition never being revealed for so long, just by her attitude towards Ye Lianchen, it’s not hard to see Ye Qingcheng wants to compete with Ye Lianchen for the position of Family Head.

Ye Chenwen sighed helplessly and said: ”I don’t want this to happen, Qingcheng and Lianchen are both my flesh and blood.”

”You should be more cautious, Family Head.” Ye Luochen suddenly advised.

Ye Chenwen’s expression tightened, he looked back at Ye Luochen, and asked, ”What are you trying to express with this remark?”

”Family Head, forgive me for being blunt, but Miss’s ambition has reached an irreversible point now; she might already be in a desperate situation.” Ye Luochen said, although not very explicitly, with Ye Chenwen’s wisdom, he would certainly understand the underlying meaning.

If Ye Lianchen’s disappearance is indeed related to Ye Qingcheng, and she decides to target Ye Chenwen, it is not surprising.

”If the Young Master’s disappearance is really related to Miss, how do you think she would cover it up and successfully become the Family Head?” Ye Luochen continued.

”If I find out, she will live a life never seeing daylight.” Ye Chenwen said helplessly.

Though he doesn’t want to admit, this possibility is quite likely. Ye Chenwen also understands, to cover up a mistake, more mistakes have to be made, as even Ye Chenwen had done that before.

”Family Head, something will definitely happen with Miss these days; you must be more careful.” Ye Luochen said.

Ye Chenwen nodded, although Ye Qingcheng is his daughter, he won’t let her act recklessly.

”I hope Qingcheng doesn’t take this step, otherwise I won’t spare her!” Ye Chenwen said coldly.

Ye Luochen shook his head upon hearing this, he knows very well, Ye Chenwen’s hopes are unlikely to come true, Ye Qingcheng might already be prepared to deal with him, as she cannot turn back after taking the first step.
