The City’s Strongest Son-in-law

Capítulo 651: Chapter 652: Testing Strength

“Let’s call it a day, and let this matter end here.” Old Wu said.

This statement left Red Hair and the others stunned. No one expected that Old Wu would compromise out of nowhere. However, Old Wu himself knew very well that continuing to fight with Su Changfeng would not benefit him at all.

Moreover, judging by the force of that last hit, even the lightest continuation would land him in the hospital for ten to fifteen days.

“Is… is this really a human fight?”

“To think that a single punch could do that to a wall, it’s truly unbelievable.”

“Could that person just now be a martial arts master!”

After Old Wu led Red Hair and his group away, Su Changfeng also left. The waiters in the store stood in front of the cracked wall where Su Changfeng had struck, all wearing expressions of disbelief.

The owner was also shocked. She initially thought Su Changfeng would get his legs broken, but when she saw this wall, she realized how wrong she was about Su Changfeng.

“Boss, why was that person so powerful, could he be something other than human?” The girl stared at the owner in a daze.

The owner gave a helpless smile and said, “I don’t know if he’s human, but he is truly strong. Considering he is in Jiang City, he’s probably not an ordinary person; you’re particularly lucky to have such a significant figure help you solve your problem.”

After leaving the café, Su Changfeng seemed to be deep in thought. That strike had exceeded his capability, but Su Changfeng wasn’t sure what was going on.

A thought crept into Su Changfeng’s mind: Could it be not due to his strength, but simply because that place was poorly constructed?

Before leaving Wutong Street, Su Changfeng stopped outside a karate dojo.

“Sir, are you interested in karate? Our dojo is running promotions; if you sign up now, there’s a discount. Would you like to take a look?” A staff member at the dojo saw Su Changfeng pause, grabbed a flyer, and approached him.

To figure out whether that last hit was because of his own strength, or if the café was poorly constructed, this is the place to find out.

Karate dojos often have sandbags, so another round of testing would clarify the situation.

“Do you have sandbags here?” Su Changfeng asked.

“Of course we do; these are basic equipment. Our dojo is one of the most famous in Jiang City, so we absolutely have sandbags.” The dojo member explained.

Su Changfeng nodded and walked into the dojo.

Su Changfeng wasn’t sure if this dojo was famous; he hadn’t paid attention to these things before, but there were indeed many students here, dozens in all, including men, women, and children. The training area was also large, not much less than Gu Changsheng’s martial arts school.

Seeing Su Changfeng, a coach dressed in workout clothes approached him and asked, “Bro, are you planning to sign up with us? Our dojo has some of the top coaches in Jiang City. If you have any questions, I can help you out.”

Su Changfeng asked, “I want to ask, what’s the heaviest sandbag you have here?”

The coach stared at Su Changfeng in bewilderment. No one who came for lessons would ask how heavy the heaviest sandbag was.

“Bro, if you’re just starting, about 10 kilograms should be fine. Our dojo has sandbags of various levels to suit different strengths, but picking the heaviest one isn’t necessarily the best. You need to recognize your capability.” The coach said.

“I want to try the heaviest one.” Su Changfeng said.

The coach frowned at these words. Is this guy planning to make trouble here? From his build, he doesn’t look like someone with that much strength.

“Bro, let me be frank with you, you need to be aware of your limits to save face in the end.” The dojo coach reminded.

Su Changfeng smiled and said, “Don’t worry, I just want to give it a try.”

“Alright, follow me then.” The dojo coach led Su Changfeng to the area filled with sandbags.

There were students practicing here too, with sandbags for children and adults, varying in size and weight.

“Try this one.” The coach said to Su Changfeng as he turned his gaze to the black sandbag beside it.

Noticing Su Changfeng’s intention, the coach couldn’t help but smirk and said, “Bro, you might not want to consider that bag. It’s purely for decoration, filled entirely with iron sand. Moving it requires incredible strength.”

“Can I try it?” Su Changfeng asked. Since it’s a test of strength, it had to be the heaviest sandbag.

The coach laughed out loud directly, and even the students practicing nearby, along with other coaches around, laughed after hearing what Su Changfeng said. Previously, someone tried it too but ended up breaking their leg, staying in the hospital for over half a year.

“Looks like this kid plans on spending time in the hospital too.”

“Live by the sword, die by the sword. He’s asking for it.”

“Looks like we’re in for a good show today. When do you think the ambulance will come?”

“I bet in 10 minutes, he’ll be crying for us to call 911.”

“I bet he’ll drag himself out first, then call 911 once outside.”

The group didn’t care if Su Changfeng heard them or not, and immediately began cracking jokes.

Su Changfeng approached the black sandbag, giving it a push. Indeed, it was very heavy, showing no sign of movement at all, but this was exactly what Su Changfeng had in mind.

“Can I give it a try?” Su Changfeng turned to the coach and asked.

The coach displayed strong disdain. Since this kid wanted to be laughed at, he’d go along with it.

“Of course you can, but if you get hurt, it has nothing to do with the dojo. Are you sure?” The coach warned.

Su Changfeng nodded, slightly bending his knees while taking a step forward, as if standing in a horse stance.

Whether it was the dojo coaches or students, seeing Su Changfeng’s actions, they all laughed. They immediately saw that Su Changfeng knew nothing, yet dared to hit a sandbag filled with iron sand.

“If he uses his fist, he’s definitely going to break his fingers.”

“That’s a given. An iron sandbag is like an iron wall; can human flesh and blood collide with an iron wall?”
