The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1898: Final preparations (II)

Cain paid little attention to Nullavir and the other Prima Deities who had been forcibly brought before him. Instead, his sharp eyes focused intently on the warriors of the Scarlet Path. A satisfied glint appeared in his eyes as he noticed Terent’s evolution. The old Prima Deity had successfully cultivated his Scarlet Leviathan to the absolute peak of the Soul Realm.

This wasn’t overly surprising to Cain—after all, despite Terent’s previous stagnation, he remained a Prima Deity, possessing profound soul force and immense energy reserves. The fierce battles and relentless hunting across the Shadowcradle Continent had provided ample nourishment for his Scarlet Leviathan’s rapid development.

Yet, what genuinely brought a radiant smile to Cain’s face was not just Terent’s transformation. Two other individuals had evolved even more dramatically, surpassing Cain’s expectations and filling him with pride.

”Come forward, you three.”

Everyone present immediately understood whom Cain was summoning. Without hesitation, the gathered warriors stepped respectfully aside, opening a clear pathway. Soon, Terent appeared at the forefront, alongside two Divine Cultivators whose auras blazed with scarlet brilliance. Astonishingly, these two cultivators stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the Prima Deity, despite their lower cultivation rank.

These two extraordinary cultivators were none other than warriors who had been by Cain’s side from the very start of his path. They had once saved the Scarlet King’s life, serving as his most trusted allies—his right and left hands. When Cain faced mortal danger, they stood firm beside him, unwavering in their loyalty, bleeding alongside him through countless battles.

Cain’s rapid, meteoric rise had caused them to temporarily fall behind, relegating them to supporting roles. Yet, they had never despaired, nor had they ever stopped pushing themselves beyond their limits. Their relentless determination and steadfast resolve had now borne fruit, elevating their strength to incredible heights.

”Gabriel,” Cain spoke warmly, immense pride echoing in his voice as he gazed at the first Titan he had ever encountered.

Memories flashed vividly through Cain’s mind: the powerful image of Gabriel standing defiantly beneath a sky raining golden meteors, bravely defending the students of the Collapsing Lightning Academy.

Gabriel stared back at Cain with eyes blazing like twin scarlet suns, his powerful gaze reflecting both pride and unwavering determination. His respect for the young man standing before him had only deepened as Cain led humanity through extinction-level events, ascending rapidly through realms of power. Gabriel had stood faithfully beside Cain when they faced the horrifying Depravita of Blood, and even now, the Titan felt a surge of conviction in his heart as he affirmed silently.

”This is a king I can follow, one worthy of absolute loyalty.”

Cain nodded with appreciation, then shifted his attention to the second figure.

This man had been instrumental in Cain’s survival during his earliest direct confrontation with The Organization. He was the First Pillar of the Collapsing Lightning Sect, the warrior whose intervention had forced the mighty Shadow and Blood Kings into panicked retreat.

Yet, as Cain looked upon him, a complicated expression crossed his face. Long ago, Cain had requested that this warrior assume the disguise of an ancient hero from the Inferno Daemon Race during the Dark Sky War. The Inferno Daemon people had desperately needed a hero, and thus, he had maintained this false identity ever since.

Cain hesitated slightly, ready to finally acknowledge the warrior by his true name. However, before Cain could speak, the man himself stepped forward, his voice firm and resolute.

”Zero Mint, at your service always, my King.”

Zero Mint’s eyes shone with an intense scarlet glow, unwavering conviction and purpose radiating clearly within them. Initially, adopting another identity had been difficult for the warrior, as it felt like abandoning his roots. But as time passed and he advanced further along the Scarlet Path, Zero Mint began to see things differently. This new identity allowed him to break free from the shackles of the past, transforming him and granting him a profound sense of adaptability that few cultivators ever achieved.

More importantly, the identity of Zero Mint had grown deeply within his soul. The genuine awe and admiration he saw reflected in the eyes of the Inferno Daemon children filled him with immense pride and purpose. Ultimately, embracing his new identity wholeheartedly had become something he willingly accepted.𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Cain observed Zero Mint carefully for a moment, noting the sincerity in his voice and eyes, before nodding with approval.

”Zero Mint,” Cain acknowledged respectfully, fully accepting his warrior’s chosen path.

With no further delay, Cain raised his hand, and in a dazzling display of divine power, the Scarlet Throne manifested before them. Its immense gates opened wide, revealing a colossal crimson realm filled with overwhelming spiritual and psychic might. This power radiated outward, flooding across the entire Everlife Continent, suffusing the skies and the earth alike.

For Auramyth, Nullavir, and the other Prima Deities standing unwillingly on the continent’s sky, the Scarlet Throne elicited primal fear and dread—a terrifying power they instinctively wished to avoid. But to the warriors of the Scarlet Path, the throne symbolized hope, ambition, and glorious ascension. They saw within it a paradise, a divine sanctuary where they could one day place a piece of their souls, forging their Scarlet Stars and etching their names into eternity—just as the three warriors before them were about to do.

Terent, Gabriel, and Zero Mint stood resolutely before the Scarlet Throne, their eyes burning brighter than ever. In perfect unison, their Scarlet Leviathans surged forth from within their Soul Dimensions, erupting into existence with deafening roars. Without hesitation, the majestic, powerful creatures dove into the Scarlet Throne, eagerly absorbing immense torrents of spiritual and psychic energy.

In mere moments, the Leviathans transformed, morphing into enormous crimson stars that rose above the throne, illuminating the highest reaches of this sacred realm. Each star marked a section of the Scarlet Throne, imprinting their power eternally.

”BOOM!”

”BOOM!”

”BOOM!”

The energies of the three warriors erupted spectacularly, sending awe-inspiring psychic waves blasting in all directions. Terent felt his Alter-Ego, which had long lagged behind, suddenly explode with astonishing strength, surpassing even his Astral Rebirth Path.

Yet, the transformations of Gabriel and Zero Mint proved even more profound.
