The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1859: I am chaos

As silence enveloped the battlefield, the soldiers of the Scarlet Path began to pant heavily, waves of exhaustion overtaking them now that the frenzy of combat had subsided. With the powers of the Concept of Rage and the devouring energies drawn from their enemies no longer coursing through their veins and souls, the warriors finally felt the accumulated fatigue of their fierce battle.

Yet, despite this profound exhaustion, wide and triumphant smiles appeared on their blood-smeared faces. This intense battle had been far more than mere slaughter; it had been a transformative crucible. Their Scarlet Leviathans had evolved dramatically, reshaping their bodies and refining their souls. Each warrior felt that their talent had now soared to new, unimaginable heights.

Gabriel, Zero Mint, and the rest of the Thirteen Stars of Doomsday could not hide the excitement surging through their hearts and souls. They could feel the potent energy resonating from within their Scarlet Leviathans, now elevated to the peak of the Sovereign Rank. It was clear to each warrior that they stood on the threshold of even greater transformation.

Soon, their Leviathans would become powerful enough to merge with the Scarlet Throne itself, opening a direct conduit to an ocean of limitless psychic energy that would fuel their future evolution.

As the Scarlet Path warriors gradually regained their breath, their gazes turned upward, their eyes igniting with fierce red flames. Without hesitation, they knelt respectfully, performing deep, synchronized bows toward Cain, their collective voices echoing powerfully across the battlefield.

”All hail the Scarlet King!”

The words reverberated with conviction and devotion, their tone so profound that even the hearts of the Prima Deities above trembled slightly.

Such unwavering determination and devotion were unprecedented, something none of these veteran deities had ever witnessed before. This was no mere obedience born out of fear, nor was it a mere pursuit of personal gain or power. It was a profound belief in the Scarlet King’s vision, a conviction that arose from the very depths of their souls, an unshakable faith in the Scarlet Path itself. Each soldier stood ready to fight, to bleed, and even to die for this new world their king envisioned.

Cain felt an overwhelming surge of pride and satisfaction as he gazed down at these warriors. They were individuals who had followed him all the way from the world of Aether to this new battlefield. They had been tempered through countless battles, enduring unimaginable trials alongside him.

Yet, despite this profound pride, Cain never lost focus. He knew he had just made a bold and dangerous move, one that would inevitably attract the fiercest response. A cataclysmic battle would soon erupt, determining whether his Scarlet Path would firmly establish itself within the Everstrife Empyrean World or crumble before it truly began.

Taking a deep, steadying breath, Cain turned his gaze directly into the eyes of the Prima Deities suspended in front of him. His pupils glowed brightly with golden radiance, so pure and piercing that it stripped away all pretenses, leaving those under his gaze feeling exposed and vulnerable.

”I represent the will to perceive the world through your own eyes, liberated from the chains of dogma imposed by others. I offer a future where hatred and love exist unbound, where you are free to choose your own destiny.”

Cain paused briefly, allowing his words to resonate deeply, as scarlet flames gradually ignited within the depths of his golden eyes, blending together into an overwhelming presence.

”I am freedom. I am liberty...”

His eyes blazed intensely, a pressure so profound it seemed to freeze the souls of the Prima Deities in place, as he uttered his next words with absolute clarity.

”I am chaos.”

Even Cain himself was momentarily startled by his declaration, yet as he reflected on the vast Scarlet Throne above him—a sanctuary for his loyal followers and a prison for those who defied him—he understood that this single word perfectly encapsulated his essence.

A wide, profound smile formed upon Cain’s lips as the clarity of his path grew increasingly evident, free of doubt or hesitation. All that remained was to move forward boldly, to burn away every obstacle that stood against him, and to forge the future from the ashes of those who opposed him.

Turning once again toward the Prima Deities, Cain’s voice resonated powerfully, filled with magnetic authority and sincerity.

”Now, I offer you a choice. Join me. Walk by my side as I shape this new world and make the old crumble beneath our footsteps.”

At first, the idea of joining Cain seemed absurd, even impossible. Mere minutes ago, he had declared he would ruthlessly annihilate any Prima Deity who moved against him. Yet, despite this, as they gazed into Cain’s radiant eyes, many felt a powerful pull toward him. They were moths drawn inexorably toward a burning flame—one that promised potential annihilation, yet also whispered of rebirth.

Of course, some resisted Cain’s profound charisma, particularly Andrew, Zoro, and Maria, the trio from Divine Calamity Heaven. Yet even they were shaken to their core as they observed other Prima Deities wavering, including those from long-standing rivalries like the Golden Star Kingdom, their resolve visibly crumbling beneath Cain’s will.

Still, Andrew and his allies refused to believe that anyone would actually accept Cain’s offer. After all, aligning themselves with Cain not only meant standing against countless powerful factions due to his disdain for the status quo, but also directly challenging Divine Calamity Heaven itself. Such an act would place a permanent mark of death upon them, bringing the wrath of an ArchDeity down upon their heads.

Yet, despite their skepticism, in less than five seconds someone boldly stepped forward.

”I will follow the Scarlet King.”

The voice that echoed resolutely across the battlefield belonged to none other than Alucard, the esteemed leader of the Eclipse School. Alucard was not just any person; he was part of an entirely different organization, historically opposed to the Gu Sect, under Cain’s dominion. Furthermore, he was a prominent member of the Atrox Immortus Race, a Dark Race, and yet he was still the first one to pledge his allegiance.

Despite the tremendous danger and risks he understood all too clearly, Alucard’s gaze was unwavering. His eyes shone brightly, infused with a resolute will that swiftly shifted, taking on the brilliant scarlet hue that symbolized devotion to the Scarlet Path. He understood fully the gravity of this moment, the profound implications of his choice. Yet, without a trace of fear or hesitation, Alucard embraced it completely.

This opportunity, this moment of transformation and transcendence, was precisely what Alucard had sought for countless millennia. Now, presented clearly before him, he seized it without regret or doubt, stepping forward boldly into a future filled with boundless possibility.
