My Youth Began With Him

Huo Mian bit her lip, not knowing how to respond.

If she were to say yes directly, she would be looked down upon by others since they were still so young. They would think that they were bad children who were in an early relationship.

However, it would be too fake if she said no. Qin Chu brought her to such a faraway place alone, how could they be just friends?

Perhaps seeing through Huo Mian’s thoughts, the female manager continued, “Our Young Master loves this place. He comes here a few times every year… sometimes with the chairman and his wife, and sometimes with friends.”

“Did he bring any other friends here?” Huo Mian suddenly felt uncomfortable.

Did a girl come before her?

“There’s one. He’s a boy. He’s tall, thin, and very handsome.”

“Ha, that’s Gao Ran, right?” Huo Mian’s heart suddenly lit up.

“Yes, yes, yes, it’s Young Master Gao… The two of them love to swim… Young Master Gao is very funny… He’s very humorous.”

Unknowingly, Huo Mian wasn’t as nervous as before as she chatted with the woman.

The female manager brought Huo Mian into an 80 square meter beauty salon.

She initially thought that all the customers would come here for their beauty treatments, but she later realized that this was just a private room.

The degree of renovation was truly astonishing.

At that time, the color of nouveau riche gold was not popular. The decorations were all Mediterranean style in white and blue.

Furthermore, the decoration was in a Thai style that was very charming. The moment she entered, she smelled the scent of rose essential oil.

Huo Mian couldn’t help but sneeze… Then, she rubbed her nose in embarrassment.

“Miss Huo is Young Master’s best friend, you guys should serve her well…”

“Yes, manager.”

After Huo Mian was sent in, the female manager left, leaving behind two beautiful women in work clothes.

This was the first time in Huo Mian’s life that she had spa. It was a full-body oil massage and face hydration treatment.

For someone like Huo Mian who didn’t even know how to use cosmetics, this was like discovering a new world.

The young lady who was in charge of doing the facial treatment also recommended her some skincare brands and methods to stay moisturized daily.

She probably thought she was a rich young lady.

Those things that she had recommended cost thousands of yuan per bottle.

That was almost a few months of living expenses for Huo Mian’s family. To her, it was probably impossible to buy them.

Qin Chu was a man of his word. After two hours of spa, Huo Mian came out and saw Qin Chu waiting on a chair by the door.

The moment she saw him, she felt strangely at ease.

“How was it? How was the experience?”

“Not bad.” Huo Mian smiled.

“Let’s go eat.”

Qin Chu stood up, walked up to Huo Mian, and naturally held her hand.

Then the two of them crossed the corridor and took the elevator to the restaurant.

Qin Chu never hid his love for her; it was always exposed to the public.

Huo Mian began to feel uneasy…

Although the current society was no longer as traditional as before and insistent on compatibility.

But did she really deserve Qin Chu?

Perhaps it was because he was too outstanding that she felt inferior.

If she were the daughter of a rich family, she wouldn’t even need to think about it. She would date Qin Chu and marry him.

But now…

“Are you daydreaming again?”

During dinner, Qin Chu could tell that Huo Mian was worried and asked her.

“No… I’m just thinking, when I meet everyone on Monday, would they all turn into charcoal?” Huo Mian changed the subject.

“Mian.”

“Hm?”

“I told my dad about us.” Qin Chu elegantly cut his steak.

Huo Mian almost spat out her soup.
