My Youth Began With Him

Even though it was a prank, Qin Chu didn’t blame her.

However, Qin Chu didn’t sing. Instead, he took out his phone and downloaded the song.

Then, the two of them put on the earphones and watched the scenery at the foot of the mountain, listening to the song that fit the scenery.

In a way, he had fulfilled Huo Mian’s wish…

Then, the two of them continued to climb the mountain and walked down the other side of the mountain range.

There was only a dirt path here, and it was steeper than the previous one. However, these youngsters were extremely willful and wanted to challenge their own limits.

It had to be said that the temperature on the mountain was much lower than at the foot of the mountain.

So the two of them were right to wear sportswear, at least it kept them warm.

After walking for another hour, Huo Mian was exhausted.

“I can’t do it anymore, I’m hungry… Qin Chu, I want to eat.”

Huo Mian asked for food.

Qin Chu didn’t say anything. He found flat ground and took out a mat and some food from the hotel.

Huo Mian thought it should be ham, bread, or some kind of dry food.

However, she was wrong. She probably didn’t know how exquisite Qin Chu was.

Qin Chu took out two orange bento boxes.

Huo Mian eagerly picked up a box and opened it. Her jaw dropped.

It was a very pretty-looking bento. There were two tuna rice balls in it. Then, there was a fried egg, a fried chicken leg, and a couple of broccoli.

The color combination was also very nice. Just looking at it made one’s appetite increase greatly.

Then, Qin Chu took out two bottles of mineral water and placed one beside Huo Mian.

If you think this was it, you’re wrong.

Then, Qin Chu took out two more bento boxes.

They were filled with fruits, cut fruits.

There were melons, pineapples, honey peaches, banana slices, and a few red cherry tomatoes.

“Wow… so thoughtful…”

Huo Mian was pleasantly surprised; not only was there such an exquisite bento, but there were even fruits.

She glanced at Qin Chu’s bag. No wonder he had to carry such a big bag; it was filled with so much stuff.

“Haha… this shouldn’t be called a hiking bag, it should be called a Treasure Chest.”

Qin Chu was speechless. “Don’t talk nonsense, let’s eat.”

Huo Mian picked up her bento box and started eating.

From time to time, she would playfully snatch Qin Chu’s food.

Qin Chu didn’t say anything and let her do whatever she wanted.

“I feel so good today… If only I had a can of beer.”

“How old are you? Why are you drinking beer?” Qin Chu lectured her like an elder.

“So what if I’m young? Uncle Jing used to buy me some fruit wine during Chinese New Year. It was delicious and exciting…”

“Your elders really spoil you…” Qin Chu glanced at her.

“Of course, my mom and Uncle Jing are actually very nice.”

“What about the Huo Family?” Qin Chu suddenly asked.

Huo Mian froze slightly.

“If you’re not comfortable, it’s okay if you don’t tell me.” After asking, Qin Chu regretted it. He had not done it on purpose.

“I’m not that pretentious. This incident blew up all over the city back then, it’s no longer any secret… That old man from the Huo Family didn’t treat me well. I don’t have any feelings for the Huo Family at all. It’s like I’m a stranger to them. Other than the fact that Huo Siqian seems to treat me a little better, that’s all.”

Upon hearing Huo Siqian’s name, Qin Chu’s expression became complicated. “Stay away from Huo Siqian from now on.”

“What’s wrong? You know him too?” Huo Mian asked as she sensed a history between them.
