My Youth Began With Him

Ignoring his father’s teasing, Qin Yuyao strode in.

Looking at the four kind-looking elders in the living room, he quickly bowed.

“Grandpa, Grandma, Grandpa Su, Grandma Su.”

“You seem to have grown taller.” Old Master Qin’s face was full of affection.

Although everyone was happy that Huo Mian gave birth to a third son, the twins were still more favored.

The Qin family did not have a tradition of favoring boys over girls, so they naturally did not favor their son.

Pudding and Little Bean’s usual teasing was just a joke. After all, their little brother’s birth brought a lot of laughter and happiness to the family.

Qin Yuyao stood in the living room and chatted with the four elders for a while.

He glanced around but still didn’t see his mother.

He couldn’t help but frown. In the end, he walked up to Little Bean.

“Glutton, where’s Mom?”

Yes, you’re not mistaken. This boy rarely calls the twins ‘sister’, unless it’s a formal occasion with many people.

He would always call Pudding ‘Tycoon’ and Little Bean ‘Glutton’.

Little Bean immediately rolled her eyes. “How old are you? Are you a kid? Why are you looking for your mom? It’s such an important day, so of course, she went to pick up our guests. Don’t you know Uncle Rick and Auntie Xixi are back? There’s also Auntie Lingling and Auntie Xiaowei.”

“Okay.”

Seeing that his Second Sister did not talk to him properly, Qin Yuyao could not be bothered with her. He turned around and left.

His cold aura was exactly the same as Qin Chu’s.

Little Bean was just about to complain to Pudding about how this kid came back to immediately look for his mom.

However, when she turned around, she realized that Pudding, who had been here a moment ago, had disappeared. Where did she go?

Little Bean looked around curiously. Finally, she saw Pudding in the back garden.

She was talking to someone, her expression grave.

Little Bean was shocked when she saw the person beside her sister.

Then, she ran towards the backyard…

South Hill Manor Garden.

In a quiet corner, Pudding sat on a wooden swing, looking lonely.

Beside her, stood a man with white hair. He was wearing a greenish-gray robe and had a Buddhist bead with an astronomical price on his hand.

“Grandpa Wu, I still can’t forget him,” Pudding said in a low voice.

The old man sighed. “In the blink of an eye, it’s been more than ten years. I’m old now, and no one remembers anymore. But I can’t forget you either. You’ve lived with him for so long, but I didn’t expect that the array formation back then hadn’t worked on you and Little Bean. I think the reason you two didn’t fall asleep was because of the Jade Gourd on you. Although I don’t know where Lu Yan got the pair of Jade Gourds from, it seems like it’s really powerful. Not only is it used to ward off evil, but it’s also free from external interference…”

Master Wu and Su Yu had their last conversation and meeting in the dream many years ago.

Su Yu’s last wish was for all his friends and family to forget him.

That way, they wouldn’t be in pain. Master Wu also knew that Su Yu had started his own life in a parallel universe.

Although this was a little heartless, it was the best choice for him and everyone else.

Especially Huo Mian… After Su Yu disappeared, Huo Mian couldn’t walk out of her trauma for a long time.

Later, Master Wu activated the array formation and erased everyone’s memories of Su Yu. Only Pudding and Little Bean’s memories remained.

It also became the only secret between the two sisters and Master Wu.

It was a secret that even Huo Mian and Qin Chu didn’t know.
