My Youth Began With Him

It was a rainy day in Jiangnan in July. A young girl in a black trench coat was walking in the pouring rain with a transparent umbrella.

Her footsteps were light and even when she took a step, her steps were so steady that not even the rain could splash onto her body.

She walked slowly to her rental apartment.

It was a very old cylindrical-shaped building, and most of the residents there were elderly people who lived alone.

The young girl covered her face with an umbrella, so no one could see her face clearly.

She took out her keys and unlocked the worn lock.

Then, she opened the door and walked in. Even her action of putting away the umbrella was so clean.

“Don’t move.”

Two men in black appeared from the corner.

Their faces were covered and they had pistols in their hands.

They walked out from both sides and aimed at her temples.

The young girl was not flustered. She casually placed the umbrella on the cabinet by the door.

Then, she put down the vegetables in her left hand.

“Great, I bought a lot of groceries today… Do you want to stay for hotpot?” She smiled.

“Don’t try anything funny… you stupid girl. Tell me, where is the professor?”

The girl sighed slightly and then sat around the table. She even leisurely poured herself a cup of cold tea.

“I’ve told you so many times. If you’re looking for the old man, you should go find him directly… Why did you come looking for me? It’s so annoying…”

“Since you’re not willing to tell us, we can only take you away… I believe… our boss has many ways to make you tell us.”

After one of the assassins finished speaking, he quickly walked over, wanting to capture the girl.

However, before he could touch her shoulder, the girl made a move.

In just two moves, both of his hands were broken, just like a butterfly with its wings broken.

Everything happened in a flash.

The other assassin reacted and fired at the girl.

The girl, who was originally sitting, suddenly did a backflip.

She flew from the chair and took the pistol away.

Then something flew out of her sleeve.

It went straight through that person’s neck…

The other assassin fell to the ground with only a little blood flowing from his neck.

On the floor next to him was a murder weapon card with two words on it—Lu Yan.

“Your master is truly trash. To think that he would send out such a person. He is truly insulting my intelligence.”

Lu Yan looked at the other assassin and said.

That person was prideful. He was in so much pain but he refused to beg for mercy.

He lay on the ground in agony.

Lu Yan turned around and sat down, continuing to drink her tea.

Looking at the heavy rain outside the window, she was still in the mood to sing softly, “The rain outside the curtain causes the banana leaves to droop, and the door rings were copper and green. I passed by Jiangnan Town and provoked you…”

Jay Chou’s ‘Blue and White Porcelain’ was one of her favorite songs. She felt that it was very artistic and beautiful when she imagined that scene.

The assassin pushed up with both hands and picked up the pistol with his mouth.

However, before he could do anything, he saw the girl’s high heels move forcefully.

The bullet went through the killer’s throat…

It only took a minute from the time the two assassins appeared for them to die. Yes, only 60 seconds.

Then, she continued drinking her tea calmly…

She did not care about the smell of blood in the air.

To her, killing someone was as simple as eating and drinking.

She was one of the world’s most famous assassins.

She was the Queen of Mercenaries.

She was a girl who had just celebrated her twentieth birthday. Her name was Lu Yan.
