My Youth Began With Him

Upon hearing that Qin Chu’s father was here, not only did Qin Chu’s expression change, even Huo Mian couldn’t stay calm anymore. They were both high school students, so how awkward would it be to meet the parents?

Before Qin Chu could say anything, Huo Mian panicked.

“Qin Chu, let me hide first.”

Qin Chu glanced at her. “It’s okay, you didn’t do anything wrong. Why should you be hiding? You can just sit in the cafe. I’ll get someone to prepare dessert for you. You rest first, I’ll go see my dad.”

Then, Qin Chu sent Huo Mian to the cafe and went to the conference room.

When Mr. Qin arrived, he went straight to the conference room and discussed with the higher-ups about the renovation of the hotel. When Qin Chu arrived, he was still in a meeting.

Qin Chu knocked on the door. “Dad.”

Mr. Qin glanced at his son and said calmly, “Come in. You can listen too.”

After Qin Chu went in, he attended the meeting and listened attentively. An hour later, the father and son walked out of the conference room.

“Does your mother know that you came to Yunding Mountain?” Mr. Qin asked his son.

Qin Chu shook his head.

“I heard you brought a classmate here?” Mr. Qin continued to ask.

After a few seconds of silence, Qin Chu decided to tell the truth.

“Dad, that girl is my girlfriend.”

Mr. Qin was not surprised. It was normal for young men and women to have feelings for each other. After all, everyone had their youth.

“Then she must be very outstanding.”

He did not expect his father to say that.

Come to think of it, he knew very well what his son was like. For him to fall in love with a girl, there must be something extraordinary about her.

“Yes, she’s very outstanding.” Qin Chu nodded in agreement.

“I thought you would like a girl like Yishi.”

Song Yishi was indeed pretty, and the two families were close. However, Qin Chu didn’t seem to have any feelings for her, nor did he contact her.

“Song Yishi is outstanding in the eyes of adults, but she… is outstanding in my eyes.”

“It’s normal for you to have such thoughts at your age, but don’t overdo it. You’re still a student, so don’t cause a bad influence on other girls.”

“Dad, how could I?” Qin Chu looked up at his father.

“I won’t tell your mother about this. You know her temper. She’ll definitely be anxious if she finds out.”

Qin Chu nodded. Then, he thought of something and asked his father, “Dad, do you want to meet her?”

This time, Mr. Qin was truly shocked.

“Chu, do you think this is appropriate?” Mr. Qin looked at his son with a complicated expression.

Everyone knew that relationships in school rarely bore fruit, so Qin Chu’s father thought that his son was just having his first awakening of love. After a few years, he would go abroad or go to university. Perhaps he would have already changed. This didn’t mean that boys were fickle.

As he grows older and the environment changes, he would be attracted to new things around him. Many things would be replaced, including the standards of the girls he used to like.

However, Qin Chu actually wanted him to meet the girl. What did that mean? It meant that the girl was very important to Qin Chu and definitely wasn’t just his first love.

“Chu, do you have any plans?”

Looking at his son’s calm gaze, Mr. Qin asked.

After five seconds of silence, Qin Chu slowly said, “Dad, she’s the person I’ve set my heart on for the rest of my life. I’m going to marry her in the future. After I graduate from high school, I’ll take her to study in the United States. We’ll get married when we come back.”

If it were anyone else, Mr. Qin would definitely have thought that they were too naive and childish. However, he was shocked because he knew his son too well.

He knew he was serious. He also knew how stubborn he was about the things he liked.
