My Youth Began With Him

Although Master Wu looked like a rough man from the mountains, his feelings were very delicate.

He had been unrestrained all his life. He did not expect that he would have such deep feelings for this young lad whom he had only known for less than a day.

Be it fate or because Su Yu’s mother was an old friend of Master Wu’s senior sister, all these were not important.

What was truly important was this kid’s character.

Other than life and death, which other thing in this world is not an obligation to do?

However, Su Yu still wanted to go even though he knew he was going to die. There probably weren’t many people left like him.

“Yes, yes. Let’s not talk about such things anymore. Here, Master, take this. This is my apprenticeship gift.”

Su Yu tried his best to ask Master Wu to accept this prayer bead with an exorbitant price, so their relationship as master and disciple wasn’t wasted.

Seeing how sincere Su Yu was, Master Wu stopped being reluctant.

He slapped his thigh and touched the prayer beads.

“Fine, since you’ve given it to me, I’ll accept it… But as your master, I have to return the favor. I’ve been poor for half my life, and I don’t have anything valuable on me. They are all just some scrap metal, and you probably won’t like it. How about this, I’ll give you a peace rope.”

After saying that, Master Wu bent down and took out a red string similar to a Chinese knot from his old bag.

It was only a red string and had no other decorations. It looked very monotonous.

However, since it was Master Wu’s red string, it must be something good. It wouldn’t be as simple as an ordinary red string.

Su Yu didn’t ask anything, but he happily put the red string on his hand.

Then, he heard Master Wu say, “This red string has been blessed. I had personally woven it. It doesn’t have any special effects and it’s just a peace string. In the dream, it might not have any effect. Consider it my blessing. Even if you can’t come back, I hope that you’ll be fine in the dream.”

When Master Wu said this, he felt really sad.

Unexpectedly, Su Yu happily put it on and chuckled. Then, he teased, “With this godly gift from Master, I’ll definitely be like a fish in water in the dream. I’ll probably be drunk every day, have fun, and flirt with girls until my back aches and my legs hurt… That would be a godly life, even better than real life.”

Master Wu knew that Su Yu had said this on purpose because he didn’t want to stir up his emotions.

“Okay, that’s it then. Let’s cut the crap. I’ll go get ready… I’ll give you another hour… If you want to meet someone or go somewhere you want, be quick. After all, you won’t be able to come back after your second time entering the dream.”

Although these words sounded ominous and uncomfortable, it was a fact that could not be changed.

Su Yu nodded and ordered his subordinates to prepare something for Master Wu that he would need later.

Meanwhile, he drove the Lamborghini Sixth Element back to the Su family mansion.

Su Yu’s Lamborghini had crashed once, but he was too lazy to fix it. He didn’t want to buy another car.

But the Old Master doted on his grandson. When he heard that the car had been damaged, he got someone to custom-make an identical one for him overseas.

Su Yu drove his Lamborghini with mixed feelings. He stopped his car near the old mansion.

Yes, he wasn’t going back. He wasn’t going to see his mother one last time.

It was just a parting. He didn’t want to make it so sad…

Perhaps it would be even harder to part after meeting them.

Su Yu sat in the car for a while.

He got out of the car and kowtowed three times in the direction of the family residence.
