My Youth Began With Him

“Hehe, Master, I’m actually not that stupid, am I… Besides, I still have my amulet and the Great Compassion Mantra.”

In order not to worry Master Wu, Su Yu touched the amulet on his neck.

Master Wu gave him a profound look.

“Previously, your amulet and the Great Compassion Mantra were very useful because you realized that you were dreaming, so you woke up. However, people who enter a dream for the second time will not wake up. Therefore, your amulet and your Great Compassion Mantra are almost useless this time.”

“Ah? If that’s the case… What should we do then? Why don’t I bring an AK47 and kill all the dream creators?”

Su Yu was only joking.

But Master Wu could not smile at all.

“You can’t bring anything in. I don’t have the ability to let you bring a weapon in… because it’s a dreamscape created by others. They can create anything they want.”

“Woah… those dream makers are so awesome, I want to become one too.” Su Yu was amused.

“Stop laughing, you won’t even be able to cry later…”

“Master, please… As your disciple, I don’t think I’ve given you any gifts… I know you value money like dirt, so I won’t give you any.”

“Who said that? Who doesn’t love money? Give it to me…” Master Wu glared at Su Yu.

Su Yu reached into his pocket and took out a golden pouch.

This was what he had found in his bedroom.

Su Yu’s mansion had a lot of good stuff, but he was afraid that Master Wu wouldn’t want it.

Hence, he casually took this.

“Master, this is a token of appreciation from your disciple… I’m happy to be your disciple.”

Su Yu handed over the small yellow pouch with both hands.

“What is this? If it’s diamonds or jewelry, I don’t want them… I don’t have a wife anyway. It’s useless even if I take them.”

Master Wu waved his hand. He was afraid that Su Yu would give him some gold, diamond, and agate jewelry.

“Neither. Take a look first.” Su Yu smiled mysteriously.

Master Wu looked at Su Yu and then at the yellow bag.

Finally, he picked it up and slowly opened it…

He took it out and realized that it was just a string of prayer beads.

However, these weren’t ordinary prayer beads; almost all of Su Yu’s items were made by famous people.

They were either bought at an auction or given to him on his birthday.

The Su Family believed in Buddhism, so one year on Su Yu’s birthday, his uncle, Su Xiaoxiao’s grandfather, came.

He got him this good thing from the south.

However, Su Yu never liked wearing them. After all, in this era where there were tons of and games and other fun things, wearing so many beads made him look like a nouveau riche.

Unexpectedly, it came in handy now.

Master Wu was quite knowledgeable and immediately saw through it. “This is the Diamond Bodhi, right?”

“Master has good taste.”

“It’s too expensive. I don’t want it… This thing is worth at least three to five million yuan,” Master Wu said firmly.

Although he was poor, he had seen many good things.

The four green beads in the middle of the bracelet looked priceless.

Master Wu could tell that the prayer bead cost a fortune, so he refused to accept it.

Su Yu forced the prayer bead onto Master Wu’s hand.

“Master, take this… Back then, Sun Wukong took Tang Seng as his master, he even knew how to escort him to the West to get rid of evil. As for me… I can’t do anything for you… After I enter this dream, I might never have the chance to do anything for you again. Just treat it as a memento. We’re master and disciple, so we’re fated.” Su Yu put the prayer beads on Master Wu.

“Little stupid donkey, shut up. Don’t say anymore, I don’t want to hear this.” Master Wu’s eyes were moist.
