My Youth Began With Him

Shaken by this kiss, Han Yueyao seemed to sober up, too…

Getting up from the ground, she dropped onto the sofa with a flushed face.

Su Yu stayed in the washroom for ten minutes…

Embarrassed, An went into his own room and closed the door.

When Su Yu came out from the washroom, he glanced at Han Yueyao sitting on the sofa and said in embarrassment, “Um… I’ll go up to my room to sleep. I feel dizzy… Ask An to get a guest room ready for you. If you want to go back, let An drive you.”

Then he hurried toward the stairs as if he was chased by enemies.

But Han Yueyao stopped him with a yell.

“Su Yu… Stop.”

Instantly, Su Yu stopped his steps…but didn’t dare to look back.

In his room, An’s curiosity was roused; he put his ear against the door to listen.

Han Yueyao stood up on shaky legs and walked to stand behind Su Yu.

“Su Yu, you’re a big guy; why do you flee like this… It was me who kissed you… You didn’t do anything to me, okay?”

Su Yu: “…”

“Su Yu, tell me the truth… Did you feel anything when I kissed you?”

Su Yu: “…

Han Yueyao was indeed drunk to ask such a bold question. If Su Yu could answer the question, then he wasn’t Su Yu.

Eavesdropping in his room, An almost spat out blood.

“Um… It’s late… Han Yueyao, you must…”

“Su Yu, can’t you stop running? How old are you? You’re almost thirty; you’re afraid of nothing, right? But now you are afraid of a young girl like me?”

Han Yueyao didn’t want Su Yu to evade her anymore.

“Since you know you’re only a young girl, go ahead to bed. Don’t mess with me…”

“I’m not messing with you. Su Yu… you know my feelings for you…”

She blurted the words out without thinking.

Su Yu wasn’t surprised since he had known it; but the atmosphere turned very awkward.

“Su Yu… I like you. You know it; An knows it; and all the people in the world can see it, right? But I know you have no duty to accept my love… Love itself is a pure thing; it has nothing to do with your position as my boss or your great wealth or my low position in the society… To be honest, I never dreamed that I’d fall in love with someone like you…”

“Someone like me… What’s wrong with me?” Su Yu joked with a faint smile.

“I thought I’d love an ordinary guy and get married and have children with him, living a quiet life. I never thought that I’d forget my own position and fall in love with a big figure… But since I’ve fallen in love with you, I will follow my heart.”

Han Yueyao was different from Zeng Rou, who’d lunge at Su Yu regardless of what Su Yu felt about her.

After kissing Su Yu by force, Han Yueyao didn’t try to hug him; she respected Su Yu’s decision and maintained her self-esteem.

Hearing her words, Su Yu heaved out a heavy sigh.

He knew he couldn’t dodge anymore and must face her love.

Inhaling deeply, he turned his head and looked her in the eye.

At this moment, Han Yueyao was nervous, not knowing what Su Yu would say.

Would he reject her or accept her? Like a child waiting for her teacher to announce the result of an examination, she felt anxious, worried, and a bit hopeful.
