My Youth Began With Him

“Su Yu.”

“You want to see Su Yu?”

“Yeah. After the incident with my sister and brother-in-law, Su Yu was in charge of everything. I think he has many documents I need.”

“But does Su Yu know your identity?”

Qiao Fei thought the fewer people that knew about her identity the better; after all, she was being hunted down.

“He doesn’t need to know my identity and just needs to know that I’m going to help him.”

Then she put on her windbreaker and walked down the mountain.

Despite her young age, Lu Yan did everything effectively and without hesitation.

– Meanwhile, on a deserted island –

Huo Mian opened her eyes slowly…

To tell the truth, she had thought she would die when Huo Siqian grabbed her into his arms and jumped down the cliff.

She didn’t dare to play even roller coasters, but this time, she was dragged off the cliff by someone.

She had felt she would die without leaving any messages behind.

Then, her mind turned blank; she didn’t remember anything after that.

A wooden ceiling met her eyes; then she glanced around and saw she was in a small wooden cottage.

It wasn’t big but was cozily decorated with several pots of flowers on the windowsill.

Beneath her was a thick cotton-padded mattress, and she was covered in a floral quilt.

The pillow beneath her head looked antique and was the shape of a log.

It didn’t look like heaven, so Huo Mian thought she might not be dead.

Did she travel back to the past?

She was afraid that she had traveled to ancient times; it would be worse than death.

“Mian, you finally woke up.”

A man opened the door and entered; he looked pleased when he saw Huo Mian’s wide-open eyes.

Hearing Huo Siqian’s voice, Huo Mian’s heart sank again.

“Huo Siqian, how are you still alive…”

He was dressed in a simple white shirt and brown linen pants.

The clothes were in the countryside style of ancient China.

“It’s part of my plan. We didn’t die,” he said.

“Where’s this place? ”

Seeing the strange room, Huo Mian was resentful.

“This is an uninhabited island with no one but us; it’s far, far away from the mainland and no one will find us.”

“You… are really a psycho.”

Hearing that they were on an uninhabited island, Huo Mian felt desperate again.

“I originally wanted to bring you to my private island; it has a manor, gardens, maids, gardeners, and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, just like heaven. But it’s not safe right now for us to go there since someone will discover us. So, I plan for us to stay here for three to five years. After Qin Chu and Su Yu give up their search for you and everyone thinks you’re dead, I’ll take you to that island, okay?”

Huo Siqian squatted down by the bed as he spoke and looked at Huo Mian’s eyes gently.

He sounded as if he was dotingly trying to please a child.

“Huo Siqian, it’s not fine. You’ve imprisoned me?” Huo Mian was furious and wanted to fight him but found she didn’t have any strength.

“No. This isn’t imprisonment but company. Only I will stay with you the longest…” He put his big hand on Huo Mian’s shoulder.

“Fack off… Don’t touch me.”

…

Huo Mian struggled desperately.

“Be careful, you’re pregnant…” Huo Siqian reminded her gently.

Immediately, Huo Mian looked at him in alarm and surprise.
