My Youth Began With Him

“Not yet…” Su Yu said dishearteningly.

“Oh… I’m really sorry to hear that.” Professor Luo also looked a little sorrowful.

“Yu, this is basically my diagnosis. I’m going to head back to Jing City now.”

“Okay, Professor. I have already arranged for your car and airplane. Thank you for your troubles.”

“No trouble at all! Say hello to your grandfather for me when you see him.”

“For sure.”

With that, Professor Luo and his assistant left the Military District Hospital.

After Professor Luo left, Su Yu walked over and hugged Pudding.

“You agreed that you wouldn’t cry.”

“But he’s going to die…” Pudding was doing her best to be strong and not cry, but she couldn’t stop the tears from flowing.

“No he won’t, trust me. I will keep trying to get in touch with doctors in the United States for him, then I’ll find someone to get in touch with Rick.”

“Yes… Uncle Rick should be able to help.”

“Do you know how to get in touch with him?” Su Yu asked Pudding.

“Not for Uncle Rick, but I think you can get in touch with Auntie Xixi. They should be together,” Pudding said.

“That’s right, why didn’t I think of that… Xiaowei, do you have Xixi’s phone number in the States?”

Su Yu asked as he looked at Xiaowei.

Jiang Xiaowei took out her cell phone and went through it, then shook her head.

“I only have her WeChat contact, but after she went to the U.S. she almost never uses WeChat anymore. It’s been a while since she’s posted an update. Her sister must have it though.”

Su Yu immediately took out his phone and called Nie Lingxuan.

Nie Lingxuan, who was on set for a movie, answered Su Yu’s call, and she was ecstatic.

“President Su…” She was trying her best to hide her excitement.

“Give me your younger sister’s phone number in the States.”

“Uh…do you have something you need to discuss with her?”

“Yes.”

“Okay, just give me a moment. I’ll send it through WeChat.”

“Okay.”

With this, Su Yu hung up.

“Everyone should head back. I’ll get in touch with Rick and have him get in touch with the doctors over there. There must be a way to treat Qin Chu,” Su Yu said to everyone.

“What about Mian? What do we do?” Jiang Xiaowei asked in a hoarse voice.

“And with regards to Mian… I’ve already asked the rescue team to continue their search. I will also have Gao Ran look for Huo Siqian’s underlings and question them thoroughly to see if Huo Siqian is still lurking somewhere.”

Su Yu looked at everyone and spoke clearly.

Everyone trusted that Su Yu would do just this. He wasn’t just blowing smoke.

He would do exactly what he said he would.

“Handsome Su… it’s no wonder Little Bean and I love you so much.” Pudding pursed her lips and placed a kiss on Handsome Su’s cheek.

At this moment, Pudding thought Handsome Su was incredibly handsome.

No matter how long it took, as long as there was hope and he had still not found the body of Huo Mian, he would never give up looking for her.

What kind of obsession was this?

Wei Liao and Jiang Xiaowei were not at all surprised. Knowing how Su Yu felt about Huo Mian, this was to be expected.

“When I find your mommy, you both have to love me even more…”

Watching Su Yu coddle a three-year-old child, everyone was speechless.

After everyone left the hospital, Su Yu let Jiang Xiaowei and Wei Liao take Pudding back first.

Pudding was supposed to go directly back to Su Yu’s home, but instead, they took her back to Wei Liao’s place to see Wei Yunchu.

Su Yu directly went to seek out Shen Mingxi.

– Shen Corporation – President’s Office –

When Su Yu was brought in by the female secretary, he saw Shen Mingxi feeding Huo Yanyan’s daughter. The two of them beamed with affection for each other.

It seemed that the talk about Shen Mingxi bringing the child with him after the breakup was true.

“Su Yu… you’re here.” When Shen Mingxi saw Su Yu, he immediately stood up.

“Mingxi, take all the information that documents the Huo Corporation’s criminal activity and give it to me. Give me all that you have… as quickly as possible.” Su Yu got straight to the point.
