My Youth Began With Him

Qin Chu: “Honey, I need to talk to you about something serious.”

Huo Mian: “Sure.”

Qin Chu: “Huo Siqian placed bugs in your office, car, and some areas in our house.”

Huo Mian: “This ******!”

Qin Chu smiled and lovingly caressed Huo Mian’s head. “Calm down, Honey.”

Huo Mian: “Don’t worry Honey, I’m fine.”

Qin Chu: “I’m trying to say that Huo Siqian hasn’t done anything big in the last few years. So this time, we should take a chance and bring an end to everything.”

Huo Mian: “What do you mean?”

Qin Chu: “We shouldn’t be on the defensive, let’s go with his plan.”

Huo Mian: “So, what should we do? What do you have in mind?”

Huo Mian admiringly looked at Qin Chu and knew he definitely had something cooking in his brain.

Qin Chu: “I have a plan… but I’m afraid that the moment I start executing it, you will feel like you are wronged.”

Huo Mian: “I’m not scared of that, Honey. Tell me.”

Qin Chu: “I want to go with his plan and use it to our advantage. The bugs are just a beginning, I’m sure Huo Siqian has other things in store for us. We will need to act accordingly; all we need to do is to make him think that he really tricked us.”

Huo Mian: “Not a problem, I’ll definitely cooperate.”

Qin Chu: “The only thing I’m worried about is that he might try to make us fight. I don’t want to hurt you in any way.” Huo Mian: “I’m fine. I know you’re doing this for our future.”

Qin Chu nodded; he lovingly held Huo Mian’s hand and placed it on his face. “I just want everything with him to end. You know how obsessed Huo Siqian is with you. Plus, unlike Su Yu, he’s not a good man. He’s a ticking bomb that might explode at any time. I’m constantly worried about you and the twins… so this time, I want to fight him to the death.”

Huo Mian: “Don’t say stuff like that! We’ll win for sure.”

Qin Chu: “If in the end Huo Siqian really dies, will you blame me?’

Qin Chu knew that after Huo Siqian almost died for her when they were kidnapped by Huo Siyi, Huo Mian didn’t hate him as much as she used to.

After hearing his question, Huo Mian fell silent for a few seconds. Then, she said in all seriousness, “If it’s good for us and our family, and if it will make you stop worrying about us, then… it’s his fate.”

Qin Chu secretly sighed in relief; thank goodness Mian wasn’t being Mother Teresa, or things would get even more troublesome.

Qin Chu: “Starting tomorrow, we’ll need to go into character. Don’t let anyone notice that you’re acting. Huo Siqian has trust issues so I’m sure he won’t believe us at first. We have to keep going until he does.”

Huo Mian: “Don’t worry, Honey. I may not be an actress, but I’ll try my best to not disappoint you, okay?”

Qin Chu looked at Huo Mian’s smiling face; at this moment, everything seemed to be worth it.

Qin Chu: “He also placed a bug in this study.”

Huo Mian: “What? Does that mean he heard everything we just talked about?”

She looked helplessly at Qin Chu and pouted like a little girl that had been wronged.
