My Youth Began With Him

“Of course I don’t know how to cook. Wei Liao’s the best at this, just let him handle it,” while loudly speaking, Tang Chuan took out the seafood from the grocery bags.

“Uh, Wei Liao’s here, what about Xiaowei?”

“I didn’t invite Xiaowei…” Su Yu replied.

Huo Mian fell silent…

“This is between men, so we didn’t bring Xiaowei with us, but she knows,” Su Yu added.

“Did you guys come to the wrong house?” Huo Mian was speechless.

“We’ll talk about it when we eat.”

After, the four men began working.

Shen Chengxi went to wash a lot of fruits, while Tang Chuan acted as the sous-chef for Wei Liao who began making all kinds of seafood dishes.

Su Yu was quite free, as he laid back into the sofa and watched television with the remote control in hand.

Huo Mian was dumbfounded…

The four most famous young masters in the city were gathered at her house.

What was really going on?

Before long, a table full of seafood was ready.

Wei Liao smiled.”Excuse me for my incompetence. If it doesn’t taste good, you can just lie to me.”

Su Yu put a lobster in Huo Mian’s plate.

However, Huo Mian’s gut wrenched when she smelled the seafood…

But, she couldn’t let her nausea show in front of all these people. So, she grabbed an apple and bit into it.

“I’m not that hungry, I’ll just have some fruit for now,” Huo Mian said.

The four men really actually made themselves at home and began eating.

At that moment, Wei Liao began the conversation, “Huo Mian, we actually have something to discuss with you.”

“Go ahead.”

“Yu, this was your idea, you should tell her then?” Wei Liao looked at Su Yu.

“You’re so girly, Huo Mian asked you to go ahead, so you should.” Su Yu stared back at Wei Liao, who shook his head. “This was your idea, I think it’s better if you say it yourself.”

“Wei’s right, Yu, you should do it,” Tang Chuan added.

Shen Chengxi remained silent and ate his crab.

Looking at Huo Mian, Su Yu casually said, “It’s not a big deal, don’t stress about it… Here’s the thing, isn’t GK having financial trouble lately? Huo Siqian isn’t playing by the rules, and we can’t stand it any longer. We know about his subsidiary companies maliciously buying your shares, so I thought that we can make an alliance and help you defeat him.”

“Defeat him? How?” Huo Mian was confused.

“The four of us decided to invest fifty billion yuan in GK. That’ll dilute the shares in Huo Siqian’s hands… As long as he holds fewer shares than you, he can’t do anything.”

“Fifty billion… That’s too much, I am afraid I won’t be able to pay you back,” looking around, Huo Mian worryingly said.

That was true, if GK suddenly closed down one day, the money would be gone forever.

She didn’t want to waste everybody’s money…

“Look at you, are you still the Huo Mian who isn’t afraid of anything? Fifty billion is nothing to our families… If that bastard keeps maliciously buying shares, we’ll just keep on investing… Trust us, no matter how rich he is, he’ll never be able to beat the four of us combined…”

Su Yu was very right…

The four richest families in the city each owned countless businesses and were rich beyond compare.

Not to mention the four of them together…

“But if that’s the case, would it be fair? We would be five against one. If we win, that wouldn’t look good…” Huo Mian murmured.
