S.P.E.C.T.O.R – [A Sci-fi space adventure with fantasy elements]

”So what happened between the diplomat’s son and the princess?” Adam asked as he continued to fly.

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Oh, even the streamer is interested, it seems. Well, as some of the chat already guessed, the diplomat’s son did not take kindly to the princess’s rejection. It seems the combination of his spoiled upbringing and the chat egging him on led him to do something foolish.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): The diplomat’s son grabbed the princess without her permission and attempted to drag her away. Naturally, this did not go down well with her classmates, the other patrons of the restaurant, the restaurant staff or the princess’s secret bodyguards.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): They all became outraged and started threatening the diplomat’s son unless he released the princess, except for her bodyguards, who immediately acted and, after restraining the diplomat’s son, arrested him.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): The diplomat’s son was taken away and would have been tossed in jail or worse if not for the fact that he had diplomatic immunity. Instead, the Solarian king contacted the Terran Emperor directly and demanded an explanation before formally requesting they send a replacement diplomat.]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Fucking idiot.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Agreed.]

[Whostolemyduck (Earth): What happened to the diplomat and her son after that?]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): We are not sure, all we know is that they were forced to leave the Solarain homeworld and banned from ever returning.]

[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): She lost her job.]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): What?]

[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): The diplomat’s mother was summoned before the Terran emperor and was berated for the poor upbringing she had given her son and how he had damaged relations between their two races. In the end, she was removed from her position along with any titles and lands the king had given her in the past. In one night, they went from high nobility to commoners.]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Hmph, the emperor went lenient on them. If it were me, I would have put them to death for the damage they did.]

”So I’m curious, are you saying that Solarians generally do not watch streams because of what happened? Is the Solarian race so united?]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): Correct. The majority of the Solarian people love the royal family, after all, his majesty the king has reigned over us responsibly for over 2000 years, and he has always put our needs first, while the first princess has always been kind and approachable to anyone she met.]

[Sparesomechangebro (Earth): Fuck 2000 years, imagine the amount of change I could save up in that time.]

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Yeah, you wouldn’t have to beg for change anymore kekeke.]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): However, after the incident with the diplomat’s son, the princess became more reclusive and appeared less in public. The reason given was that she was preparing for her 100 years of service, and after she started her service, the reason given was that she was busy with her service. However, all Solarians know that the incident affected her in some way and made her more reclusive to those she does not know, after all other members of the royal family managed to appear in public during their 100-year service.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): It is because of this incident that Solarians generally don’t watch streams because a streamer changed their beloved princess, and also why there is friction between the Solarian and Terran race 50 years on.]

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): It’s been 50 years, and there is still friction?]

[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): Unfortunately so, while the Terran race has tried to mend relations with the Solarian race. The Solarian public still holds a grudge against us, and so they refuse to communicate with us except for the bare minimum that is required by the universal senate or when it’s absolutely necessary.]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): Can you blame us after how one of your kind emotionally scarred our princess?]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): How would you like it if someone attempted to molest one of your princesses?]

[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): …]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down)I would kill them on the spot.]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): Exactly, be thankful we abided by universal law and did not kill someone with diplomatic immunity.]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): This is why the short-lived races do not want to get on the side of the longer-lived races. Because they live for so long or in some cases, like the Solarian’s never die, the grudge they hold does not fade over the generations because those that remember the incident never die and the grudge lingers.]

”What is this one hundred-year service? Is it like mandatory military service?” Adam asked.

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): Yes and no, the 100 hundred year service is not a mandatory requirement for Solarian’s however, it is greatly respected. You are basically giving a minimum of 100 years to your race, whether it be military service, scientific research, educating the younger generation or whatever. This sacrifice you give to your race is highly respected.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): What this Solarian is not telling you is that those who abandon their 100 years of service are shunned by the rest of their race.]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Whoa, a Deverinian.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): A Solarian and Deverinian in the same stream, this is surprising.]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): Ugh, damn Deverinian, mind your own business and get lost.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): I am merely informing the streamer and his chat about the information you just happened to forget. Anyway, I have as much right to speak in this chat as you do, and unlike you Solarian’s we Deverinians are not anti-streams, so it’s you that shouldn’t be here.]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): It’s not like we swore off streamers, we just avoid them.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Then pray tell why you are here.]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): That’s not your business.]

[Celebrityhunter69 (Earth): Err, didn’t you say Solarians were known for their peaceful nature and approachable demeanour? I’m not getting that impression right now.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Sigh, that’s because Lord Malacross is a Deverinian. The Solarian and the Deverinian have bad blood.]

[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): Ohh juicy, what sort of bad blood kekeke.]

[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): No one knows, or if they do know, they are not talking about it. All we know is something happened between the two races tens of thousands of years ago, and they have held a grudge against each other since.]

[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): That’s one long grudge.]

[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): As I said before, this is why you don’t want a grudge with one of the longer-lived races, like the Solarians or Deverinians, as they don’t die from old age or natural causes.]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): Don’t link me together with him.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Don’t compare me to that.]

”Then might I enquire why you decided to appear in my stream, Solarian pride since your race does not view streamers highly,” Adam asked as he noticed it wouldn’t be long until he intercepted the aeroplane.

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): It’s quite simple, really. I came across an interesting article on Xer-verse about the strange and advanced tech you use, and it got me curious. I must say, after witnessing your anti-gravity suit, that it is indeed curious and unique; however, I am still waiting to see how advanced it is.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): On my part I was browsing the streaming platform and I ran across your streams advert banner, I must admit that the video feed of your armour in flight caught my attention, especially that tail, I find it curious how you can have a tail and none of the other features those with tails tend to have.]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): He never asked you, Deverinian.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): No, but I’m sure he is just as curious as to why someone of my great race is here compared to your insignificant race.]

[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): Calling us insignificant just shows how stupid you are, but then again, what can I expect from someone who uses their name in their ID.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): And why shouldn’t I use my own name? As the proud lord and ruler of Deverinian 9, why should I hide my name?]

[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): Wait, you’re actually that Lord Malacoss, the ruler of Deverinian 9? I thought you were just a fan.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): No, my dear, I am he.]

”Wait, you rule an entire planet?” Adam asked in surprise.

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Indeed, my boy, I answer only to his majesty the Demon king.]

[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Wow.]

[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): Fuck.]

[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): I can’t believe we have someone who actually rules an entire planet in the chat. What other stream could claim that?]

[SciFifanboy (Earth): The guy rules an entire planet? That’s so SciFi.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): You seem to have gone awfully quiet, Solarian. Evil smirk emoji]

[You will be intercepting the target location in approximately twenty seconds.]

[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Oh yeah, here we go.]

[Gunlovergirl (Earth): Finally, I thought he would never reach there.]

[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): I’m interested to learn about this tech that Solarian was on about. Please put on a good show, my boy.]
